I took my road test today and had an amazing experience from start to finish. My instructor, Laura,…read morewas absolutely wonderful--she was incredibly kind, calm, and very clear with her instructions, which helped me feel relaxed and confident while driving. She truly made the test feel much less stressful. The owner, Steve, was also great--very personable, welcoming, and easy to talk to. You can genuinely tell that he and the rest of the staff really care about their job and about helping you succeed. Overall, everyone made me feel comfortable and supported. 10/10 experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

By the time we found the building it was about 12:10. We waiting in the front lot because when my daughter got a call back after she signed up for the test, she was just told to wait in the parking lot. We waited for a few minutes and no one came out. My daughter went up to the door at the front of the building and it said if you are here for a drivers test go around the back. That was few minutes that were wasted just waiting in the lot. So we go around to the back and we see the gentleman there. At this point it may have been around 12:15 PM. We pull up near where he was and he immediately told us to move the car that he was working. We didn't know who this guy was at this point. We waited for 45 minutes and saw that no one was coming out to greet us or even speak to us, so I decided to see if there was anyone in the building after I called them four or five times with no answer. When I go in there was a lady in the office that said since we are past 10 minutes late that we can no longer take the test. I explained to her that we were waiting and then someone just brushed us off and had us move the car and no one ever came back to talk to us And she just put her hands up and said well you have to talk to the owner. Finally the following day the owner calls me back and basically tells me his policy is if that were over 10 minutes late that it's not his problem and he doesn't do testing after that and basically we lost the money. I explained to him that we were there, but we didn't know where to go. We were in the parking lot and if I had an hour and we were 15 minutes late, why couldn't we use that remaining 45 minutes. He started going on about what his policy is and I tried to explain to him that It wasn't our fault. there were no signs on the building. We didn't know where to go and we were never explained this. He didn't seem to care and when I told him I was going to call the Better Business Bureau, He told me to go ahead and call them. This is not how professionalism works, so he took my $80 and scammed us and wouldn't even try to help us out. Complete thief. Enjoy my money you crooks!

We're in the process of getting our son signed up for driving classes. The Process in Michigan is…read moreso different from what we're used to and luckily when I called courtesy driving school, Anna answered and spent so much time going over the process with me. She was so patient and walked me through all my confusion and listed everything else step-by-step Weil also giving me expert advice. What a valuable employee she is and a Godsend for parents who are already nervous about this stage in their child's life and having to navigate this process.

My student was in 4 week course & by beginning of week 3, she'd only completed 1 of 6 drive times…read more(no fault of her own). She scheduled her second drive during week 3, 8am session Thursday. Her drive partner (she didnt know the other student at all) & her both showed up for the 8 am drive. Their instructor (Mr Schultz) did NOT. There was another instruction (Mr Purwin) in the lot w/ other students. I approached him, asked for help, there was no one else to ask as it's a satellite site in Cadillac & main offices in Detroit area. I didn't know what to do. Purwin came over to our car, asked my child who their instructor was. I told him it's not right to put this on the kids, the adult isn't here & they are. It was a different instructor with them for this drive than they had the first drive (Mr Zeller same as her classroom teacher drove the 1st time with them). She didn't have new drive instructor contact, only her class teacher, he went to her partner's car. Purwin went back to his car, reached out to someone. I thought he was taking to me. I went over to his car. I apologized to the students held up with this debacle in his car. Then he said someone would contact us. I walked away, but I heard him making fun of me to the students in his car. I turned, asked if he was talking crap about me. He denied it. I walked away. He repeated his comments to the students in his car. I turned, asked him if he was talking crap (again), he laughed & denied it (again). The teenage boys in car with him laughing at me (with him). I went back to my car. I called number for missing instructor, left voicemail. I sent a text. My students classroom instructor called me. He told me "this has never happened before". I reiterated the inconvenience & confusion, stressful. Wasting everyone time, disruptive, how she's only been allowed to drive one time (of 6 times) and class is over in a week. I called Courtesy customer service right at 9am. I was put on indefinite hold by Mary, who told me the instructor was (simply) "double booked" and we'd reschedule. i told her this was being dismissive of the issue. I reiterated how the instructor is asked for help treated us like inconvenience, mocked me in front of the two other students. I hung up, called back, spoke to MJ. She was still Mary bullied to me and gave me a new name. Again, dismissed the issue, put me on indefinite hold. I hung up, called back again, got Xena. She told me to email the customer service to get escalated. No one replied to my email until 4am Monday. Schultz signed my student up to drive Monday & Tuesday 8am following week that day missed drive. He text my student about the Monday drive. Schultz called me about 5pm, said my student was driving Monday. I asked how what happened today was ok. He just told me to move on. Barely apologized. I reiterated confusion, upsetting, unprofessional the missed drive time was. I asked if she was driving Tuesday as well, he still seemed confused about drive times. He accused me of "berating" him. I asked how? By stating facts? You didn't show up for 2 students, wasted everyone's time. This stuff isn't cheap, it is a big time commitment, hard to get signed up. Instructors shouldn't be missing drives. He threaten to report my text to his supervisor. I said go ahead. He said do you want your student driving with me or not? Not really, but not much of choice, paid you $480, 3 weeks into a 4 week class. We showed up for the Monday 8am drive about 15 mins early. Schultz nowhere to be found at 754am. I text Morning! We're all here, waiting for you & he showed up several mins later. My student got out of the car, as did her partner. They went over to him. there was a third student there. He told them to put their things into the trunk. Schultz came over to me, said my student wasn't supposed to drive today! I was so confused. He said "no one spoke to you?" Obviously NOT! Y'all had time to find another student to take her spot for this 8am drive! Schultz called supervisor Dean Trudell Chief Operatimy Officer of Courtesy then came back over to me. Told me my student had been removed from the course! Schultz provided Trudells cell. I've called several times & it goes to voicemail. I've texted. I cannot get connected w Courtesy customer service via phone. I've called several times today, it says "user busy". They've punished my student for nothing that's her fault. They didn't behave professionally, missed a drive times. Then abused my student & me, turned and accused me of being abusive to them as the reason. They kicked my student out day prior to written test. They sent me 4am email at day of scheduled 8am drive to tell me she removed from class for "abusive" behavior! When I reported abuse! No return call from customer service, Friday. No text to her, me, a 4am email Monday (when we scheduled to drive at 8am). If I'm abusive, why didn't they assure I didn't come this morning to the 8 am drive?

He was condescending, rude and unprofessional with me and my child. He had lots of grey hair, he was around retirement age. With the way he treated us, he should be retired and away from young kids trying to get their license! At this business, they make the first time drivers (many of the minis 15 or 16 years old, mind you) start with parallel parking. The student gets one try. If they aren't lined up directly in a straight line with the cones, you have to pay one more and book another appointment. Kids aren't given a second try or any "suggestions" on what they can improve on before the second attempt. I think that is quite fraudulent, especially with the condescending tone and word choice this old man had with my child and I. Perhaps we got stuck with an older gentleman while everyone else; who gave this place 5 stars; must have a pleasant adult observer. Too bad we didn't get that. Especially knowing these kids are first time drivers, you would think they would receive some patience and not an intimidating and rude experience from a business. Take my word, book your appointment with not this man. Too bad I can't remember his name, avoid a retirement age man for your kid's and your own sake.

We provide an outstanding comprehensive music education and the highest quality performance that will educate and entertain. It is our desire for students to enjoy music to the fullest and want to share their gift with others. Many younger students are often pressured to learn music because it is good for them.  However, when someone is heavily pressured into something, reactance often follows especially in children.  My philosophy is to have the students develop a desire and passion for music for themselves.  Often it starts with piano but will expand to other areas of interest.  Students have shown an increase in interest and motivation in schoolwork, extracurricular activities and a desire to bett
