Excellent attentive service especially from Jenny and Stefan the sommelier. They have a very good…read morewine list and English menus. The food was also amazing and full of flavor. We went late on a Tuesday for drinks and 8:00 on a Wednesday for dinner. Reservations are recommended as it's full of locals, but they will certainly try hard to squeeze you in if you don't have one. They have a rather good sized selection of wines by the glass at very reasonable prices and a large selection of wines by the bottle. Almost too many good quality rieslings to choose from. I enjoyed the glass of berenauslese Riesling for dessert and then also a glass of 1993 Banyuls for dessert the next night. My wife enjoyed several Pet Nat wines and also the local Sekt sparkling wines. It's small and intimate in some areas and they also have a large community table seating 16 that the locals all enjoy. It's not loud though at all. This can be an nice romantic spot or good relaxing friendly spot or even a nice business dinner spot. We enjoyed it so much the first night we made reservations for the next night and if we had more nights we'd go back then. We will definitely return on our next trip. Take a break from beer and enjoy the wine, service and food here.

Wonderful local wine bar in Munich. We met a friend there on a Tuesday evening and the place was…read morehopping. It is attached to a hotel but you get the feeling that the patrons are local. The wine list both by the glass and bottle is extensive. The stemware is gorgeous. We started with a German sparkling rose and moved on to a beautiful white wine to pair with our dinner. Be forewarned, the menu is quite limited. The pinchos are really akin to bruschetta with different toppings. We had a caponata and a beet with goat cheese. For the mains, I had the only fish item on the menu. Others enjoyed the risotto and the beef bourguignon. Opted against dessert but the menu looked nice. And the service is spectacular! If you're looking for a great place to meet up with friends, colleagues or even a date, this wine bar ticks all the boxes.

We would definitely come back again and would highly recommend this place. Everything from the drinks, bread with special butters, soups, truffle pasta, chicken with a pastry top version of a chx pot pie and some other entrees were all terrific. The apple dessert did not disappoint either - yum ( need to order ahead to give it 25 mins or so ) First rate -don't miss this gem of a restaurant! . Thx you for a wonderful dinner! Enjoy

Pretty good restaurant. Really enjoyed the ambiance the most. Especially because it's away from all…read morethe touristy stuff. The amuse bouche was bread with two spread and a cold pea soup. The soup was refreshing and I really enjoyed it. The bread was good as well. One of the spreads was obazda dip which I love. I thought they made it ok. We started with the veal ravioli. They were tender and tasted pretty good. I had the restaurant special which was basically a chicken pot pie. I thought it was good but I've had better. I thought the chicken was over cooked and the capers inside was a bit off putting to me because there were so many and made the whole dish too sour for me. It was a bit off putting. My friend had the fillet with white asparagus and potatoes and hollandaise sauce. It was basic but I preferred her dish. The dessert had strawberry and tarragon I believe. It was well balanced, not too sweet, and I liked the herbs with the dessert. They also had a nice drink menu and a good variety of wines. They did not let us try the wine before pouring it which I expected since this is a nice place. Overall thought the service was decent but not great.
