It just seemed like more of a hassle than it was worth. Finally, after 10 years of looking at those ceilings, I decided it was time! Funny enough, ChatGPT actually recommended Tom's company when I was searching for someone to do the job. They recommended his company based on his fairness and experience. I can honestly say the reviews are true to who he is and how he runs his company. He gave me a fair quote, a fast turnaround time, and assured me they would clean everything up when they were finished. They completed the entire job in just 2 days! At the end of each day, they cleaned everything up and left our house in a way that we could still comfortably move around and live in it. What I appreciated most was that Tom was true to his quote. He told me his quote was "like a handshake," and he meant it. No surprises, no added costs. He was also incredibly kind and so easy to work with. I honestly wish I had known how easy this whole process would be because I would have done it years ago! 10 out of 5 stars! Highly recommend Tom and his crew! And the ceilings turned out BEAUTIFUL! I called owner Jessie of Menifee Drywall Construction, provided him measurements and photos of the garage, and he provided a quote right away. The price was just right! Other businesses were charging 2x the cost, and that was without insulation. We even have a little extra money to do a couple of things for the garage. Jessie is a great communicator. He responds to emails and texts. He is very flexible with scheduling as well. When it came to the start date, Jessie sent an ETA text, and continued to do this for each day of the project. Jessie did more work than planned. For example, he noticed that the framing where the studs are were a bit off. He reinforced the framing by adding additional pieces of wood, and also added some shims to keep the ceiling level. He even shaved down the studs that were sticking out more on the walls. This extensive work added a couple of extra days to the project completion date, but I was not upset about it. As what was requested, Jessie added an attic access door. I even asked if he could patch up the bigger holes in the wall that wasn't being touched. To my surprise, he fixed not just the big holes, but all the little ones too, which I was planning to do myself. He also drywalled the tight areas around the garage door opener and water heater. Sitting on the water heater is the water softener pump. This could not be moved; however, Jessie worked his magic and was able to drywall the base without moving the unit. The bottom edges of the walls are nice and clean. He even was able to drywall the wall next to our tankless water heater. I initially told him that if it was going to be too time consuming to drywall that small area, to just leave it. He was able to drywall it. When Jessie finished the job, he left the garage clean. The walls were textured and are now ready for paint. Our garage floor looks horrible, but it was like that before he worked on the drywall. With the extra we saved by hiring Jessie, the flooring is the next project. Jessie is a very friendly and hard working person. I've had a lot of work done in our home, so I know what to look for when hiring someone to not only complete a project, but to treat my home with respect, and Jessie did just that. Please contact Jessie for your drywall needs. Yes, get your additional quotes, but please be sure to contact Jessie. I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you hire him.

Then they installed a solid waterproof barrier, poured a new concrete floor, repaired drywall and it is good as new. That was last month. This week, Joe Martin send his plumbing pros, Ed Ahumada, Jon & Romero to figure out a complex boondoggle which has been wasting gallons of water before hot water emerges. Front start to finish, Mike Gast and Juan Navarro worked with me to translate my vision into the bright open studio I have been dreaming of... As the project manager, Mike Gast was extremely patient and accommodating, and provided lots of feedback to solve various issues. This was a large project that involved removing the garage door, retrofitting 3 sets of doors, framing and finishing for a custom look, inside and out. They even installed special thresholds so we could be assured of being able to roll equipment in and out of the space easily. After each stage of the job, the crew cleaned up the area and removed all debris. The price quoted us initially was in line with competitors, better than several, who failed to follow up with us. There was no cost-creep, and we finished at the price quoted us. Progress and payment was tracked on their online job project site, which was an added benefit and inspired confidence. I can highly recommend Mastercraft and hope to use them in the near future for several other home improvement projects. (A special thanks to the team, Victor and Tony for their cleanliness and work ethic).
