On October 28, 2026, I completed the intake process and provided personal information because I was seeking a legal consultation regarding an important property matter. I did not know that my consultation had been cancelled. On October 29, 2026, I called back and that was when my experience took a turn for the worse. Swemi became hostile, spoke to me in a condescending manner, and appeared more interested in telling me about myself than professionally addressing my concerns. She characterized me as hesitant to provide information and accused me of being "smart" with her. I found her attitude disrespectful and completely unnecessary. The conversation ended with her hanging up on me. During our interaction, she also emphasized that the firm had been in business for 30 years. In my opinion, longevity means very little if a prospective client is treated this way. What makes this experience especially disappointing is that I had already entrusted the firm with my personal information in good faith. I was seeking legal assistance, not an argument or a lecture about myself. Afterward, I received an email stating that my consultation scheduled for October 30, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. had been cancelled. I was extremely disappointed by the entire experience and the way this situation was handled. People seeking legal help may already be dealing with stressful and sensitive circumstances. They deserve to be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism from the very first interaction. I hope Keystone Law's management reviews this situation and addresses how prospective clients are treated by their intake staff.
