I needed personal attention and direction on my fitness journey since I had no idea what I was doing nor the drive. A little less than a decade ago I pass PushLab Fitness...my sister and I watched a trainer with his client and his passion to train, his intensity and strength training exercises that I wanted nothing to do with at the time. (I was in my happy hour era don't judge lol) I swore the idea off saying I don't have what it takes and off we went. Here I am... a decade later and eating my words, anxiously waiting for each physically challenging session. Every day is unexpected and almost entirely different from the last. Never boring and hitting every part of my body. My legs are in poor health and he's extremely attentive to it. He pushes me to do better, work harder, stay focused. He truly cares about the direction of your fitness and all around health and never once makes you feel like you're just an in and out client. He makes me want to do better and be better. I booked 10 classes for $1,400. On my 3rd class Ahmed had me stand on a platform with no balance…read moreaids while doing vigorous leg work. I fell off the pedestal, crashed my head on the wall and ended up in Lenox Hill hospital getting a CAT scan of my head and jaw. Turns out my jaw was dislocated and now needs PT to get it straight. I cancelled the rest of my sessions and asked for a refund. Ahmed gave me a refund BUT he insisted on charging me for the session that put me in Lenox Hill Hospital! He's a man of no honor.

Jasson is simply fantastic. I've just finished up his 8 week red carpet body program and dropped 22…read morelbs and 29 inches all over my body. I'm stronger and look better naked, but best of all his food plan completely reset my palette and changed my relationship with food. Throughout the program I learned how to actually take care of myself and in the process up leveled in all areas of my life. It's amazing what you can achieve when your mind and your body are clear. Jasson is a extremely knowledgable and tailored the workout specifically to my needs. I have worked out with plenty of trainers in the past and can honestly without a doubt say that he is the best. I am even loosing fat in areas I thought were nigh impossible to shift (calves and thighs) and I know that is because of Jasson's superior knowledge base and guidance. But best of all is his attitude, work outs are fun and challenging. He is personally invested in your success and I am grateful to have him in my life. I can't wait for the next 8 weeks because I am definitely doing this again! UPDATE (Jan 2016): I've continued to work with Jason over the last few months. We have continued to transform my body; most significantly my lower back. I suffered from back pain that is now completely gone. But also, I've been working with Jason's mental strength coaching, which has been a wonderful experience. He is by far more effective than any psychologist because he helps you find active ways past your blocks. It's not hours of miring in your past drama but actionable steps for you to truly discover who you are and how to keep leveling up in life. If you are stuck in any way, I recommend him whole heartedly.

My boss…read more(a film producer who's addicted to fitness like me) actually CONVINCED Hollywood trainer Jasson Finney to move to NYC because of the lack of miracle workers in this town. Jasson (who's also an actor/stuntman in over 30 movies and TV shows) has worked with Hollywood A-Listers George Clooney, Halle Berry, Penelope Cruz, Tori Spelling and Paul Walker (R.I.P) to name a few. His rates are very reasonable given his status ($150 an hour) and my boss just started his signature "8 Week Red Carpet Body Program" and won't stop talking about how amazing he is. At first it was hard to believe that his average client loses 4 dress sizes in 8 weeks, but now after seeing my boss... I'm totally blown away. UPDATE: 4/18/14 OMG! My boss just bought me a session for my birthday and Jasson spent an entire hour with me asking how exactly I want to permanently change my shape, what my current eating habits are, then laying out a specific cardio/eating/training strategy to get rid of my saddlebags, etc. After that, we worked out for 75 minutes doing exercises I have never, ever seen before let alone done before, and all with tiny 2.5 pound weights, bands, balls. Holy Cow, I can't even MOVE my body today! I have never felt like this before. I hope he can start teaching classes somewhere because as a personal assistant, the $150 hour price tag is too much for me but I am thinking about getting a second job to at least see this man once a week. Totally jealous now of my boss. I want more!

I recently started working out here with my trainer who found this place on Yelp a year and a half…read moreago. Very well equipped gym where you can train every muscle group you need. I really enjoy that it is private and there are no crowds (I really enjoy working out in silence). I had the chance to meet Ben, the owner. I very cool guy and a real encyclopedia of fitness. I also like its working hours. I can visit it either before going or after finishing work. Would definitely recommend to all my friends, who need a good place to work-out...and to the lazy ones, hahaha.

This is a private training gym that is used exclusively by trainers. The space is newly renovated, very open, bright and sunny. All the equipment is fairly new, and the owner really does a good job of keeping things running well. I suppose part of why I have such a great experience here is that my trainer, Andrei Moreno, is completely amazing. But that said, I'm so used to seeing all the other trainers there as well, and they're all really nice people. If you are looking for a good personal training experience, you could contact the owner at this place and he trains people himself, or he may be able to refer you to someone. If you currently have a trainer and are working out somewhere that isn't such a nice place, you might send your trainer this way and start using this gym!

This specific time with dara went from may to November, and I was able to lose 10 solid pounds after putting myself through a long building phase where I purposely gained weight and muscle. We took the best approach for this season of my life and was completely able to enjoy my entire summer with hardly any restrictions, I truly got the best of both world working with dara!
