I planned to redo my kitchen counters - I will definitely not be using this company. I would not recommend this company at all for countertops.

They had quartz slabs in exactly the pattern my wife was looking for. They came to the house for a free estimate and, including the sink and demo and removal, it came in $1,000 less than any other estimate we got. When they came to install, they clearly knew what they were doing. The quartz is beautiful. The two men who came for the installation were great to deal with and respected our home. When they left, we were entirely happy with the installation. A few days later, we realized that we had a half wall across the kitchen that would look great with a quartz top. We called and asked if they had a remnant they could cut and polish for the 48" wall. We said we would pay for the piece. Two days later they called and said that the quartz was ready. My wife went to pick it up and they would not let her pay anything for the piece. They were just really nice guys. I would absolutely use Arkadia again and would recommend them to anyone for countertops. They are a class operation and really nice guys. Entirely satisfied.

It was severely weathered and they made it look new after a couple days work without removing it. They charged us 1/3rd of the other companies that gave us quotes. We also have had them repair other doors, fix rotted stairs, replace broken deck boards, replace handrails, stain and paint, as well as multiple repairs. Each time their workers came when they said they would, did the work efficiently and did a great job. One very important point: we have had several storm-related repairs lately. Our insurance provided contractor ghosted us, several others did not return our call, many thought our needs were not substantial/lucrative enough. Mr. Gibbs came to home, extremely late on the day of the appointment. He suggested he cut the damaged spindle and take it with so it could be matched exactly. He ensured me his wood guy could replicate the discontinued spindle as I requested. He also ensured me it would only take a few days to get the spindle back. He quoted me a price e of over 400.00 for 1 wooden spindle and would not start the work without a deposit and contract. It ended up being weeks before I got the spindle back. When he returned, the color was extremely off, and he had to take the spindle back to fix the color. Several weeks later he again returned. When he returned I could not believe what he brought back to be placed in my home stairwell. It was not the custom-made spindle replicated by his wood guy, but a 6.00-dollar spindle from Home Depot. The color did not match, nor was it the same style of spindle. He failed to inform me that he would be installing the wrong spindle. I WAS LIVID! I could not believe a so call reputable company bamboozled me out of 400.00 for a 6.00 spindle. I asked him why he dd not call or inform me he had the wrong spindle, he just arrived at my home and commenced to installing the mis matched spindle. He never apologized, never offered a refund, no even partial. I am still considering suing him for breech of contract.
