The assistant didn't have a clue about what was in the show room, but wanted to make copies of the sketches and lists we brought with us, which we refused. When we got home, I went on line and saw that Marni was busy hanging out with her friends elsewhere and couldn't be bothered to show up for her app't with us. Since this project was managed through a general contractor, we didn't compare pricing. We paid $1868.80 for his services. I would've given Chris 4 stars based on our bathroom project ,if this was our only experience with his services. However, it was the 2nd installation project that is the reason I only gave him One Star. I would've given him ZERO based on the outcome of our 2nd project. Our second service request was to install our new GE dishwasher. Our other GE dishwasher died and GE offered us a deal to replace it for $450.00, included delivery and installation.(Excellent customer service from GE) Unfortunately, the 3rd party delivery service was unable to install the new dishwasher, given the hook up required a connection through the sink wall. They said we needed a plumber to install it. That is when we called Chris. Chris came and took a look at the connection and said " it would probably take a couple of plumber hours to install it." His dispatcher, Darryl was very professional,friendly and attentive to my phone calls, for both projects. She deserves a raise! The technician scheduled to install the dishwasher had assisted with the bathroom project. I do not have an issue with him, regarding the dishwasher installation, since he was following orders. He arrived around 8:30 am and left around 1:30pm. The technician ran into some difficulties and needed assistance. Chris arrived on the scene to assist him. Apparently, it wasn't a simple, replace and reconnect installation. Once it was completed, I received a bill for a whopping $960.50!! I had to leave for work before the technician was done, so I left my credit card with my son to pay the bill, without my not knowing the total cost. When I got home and saw the invoice, I called Chris to complain about the total of the bill. We were charge 5 hours of labor at $104.00, $189.00 parts, and $200.00 service call charge. I said that this bill cost 2x as much as the dishwasher! If I had known that it would've cost so much, I would've cancelled the installation. Normally, I would've requested a written quote prior to the job. It is my mistake that I didn't do so. I trusted Chris, given how well we worked together on our bathroom project. When I spoke with Chris, I expressed my extreme dismay with the bill. I told him that I regretted not getting a written quote. He said it would've been too hard to give an accurate quote, since he needed to open up the wall. Without knowing what he might encounter with opening up the wall, he was not able to give a price quote in advance. I believe this is an excuse that allows him to benefit from verbal quotes, as opposed to written quotes. Had he written a quote for "the few plumber labor hours" he would be at a loss and not us, the consumer! He said he would review the bill and see if there was anything he could do. He said his pricing is not the most expensive in the area, nor is it the least expensive in the area. In other words, 'buyer beware." It doesn't matter to him that we will never ask for his service again. That's because he knows that we are moving out of state and won't need him anymore. We were trying to do the right thing by leaving our buyers a working dishwasher. The price and customer service from GE was outstanding. Sadly, Chris your billing practices are lacking. I strongly suggest that any potential customer get a price quote in writing prior to service from you. The money and aggravation they will save will be in their best interest. Definitely, the price was NOT Right!

We were so thankful they came promptly with our delivery, filled and left. We waited an hour for the fuel to settle and with no luck it wouldn't turn on. It was clogged. I called them back and asked for help as to what to do. "Did you tell the guy to come in and bleed the line?". He never offered to come in and check it. "Well you better have a wrench and a bucket." He proceeded to be incredibly rude saying that "well most people know better to have him come in and clean the lines and now I have to come back and I'm not happy about it." I'm sorry but it's not a customers job to inform a fuel oil company how to service their delivery. Nor make a customer feel stupid when it was their negligence. However, I will say he came right back and fixed it and 'sort of' apologized saying how he was rude on the phone and it's been a long day, after informing us to invest in a wrench.

Can I tell you how much I love my helium tank?…read more Helium tanks are a dime a dozen these days. Okay, they can be a little more expensive than that. But disposable versions are available at every mass retailer and party supply shop that dots the American suburban landscape. And I was buying disposable helium tanks for awhile. They were fine. But the biggest problem was that you never knew when they would crap out on you. And they really just didn't hold all that much helium. If you wanted more than 50 full sized balloons, then you would have to pick up two tanks and schlep them around. If you've got a party where you're blowing up over 50 balloons, you don't have time to be mucking about with two separate helium tanks. Enter Noble Gas Solutions! Technically, it's more of a welding supply and medical gas company than a party supply store. In fact, I felt a little out of place not knowing one canister from another. Nor really, anything about compressed gas. But at least one young staffer made me fell much more comfortable. The old guard was wisely suspicious of my naiveté. Because once I got my industrial strength helium tank--and my regulator with capacity indicator--home, I was a little concerned that I might have bitten off more than I could chew. However, after following the simple instructions, I was blowing up balloons like a champ! Not only that, but when I was at Noble Gas Solutions, I couldn't help but notice they also sell dry ice! I mean, what else is more fun than a place where you can buy pounds and pounds of dry ice and tanks full of helium. It's not cheap. But the tank is refillable. And I figure it will pay for itself in the long run. Plus, it's super convenient. Not to mention, incredibly badass. Thank you Noble Gas Solutions. I can't wait for my first refill, and to come up with some kind of use for dry ice. In the meantime, if anyone has any ideas... I'm all ears.

Units are super efficient and quiet. Installers were friendly, quick and gave attention to detail and included extras that were really helpful.

The technician came and hooked up a pressure gauge and an ammeter to take some readings. He came in the house and measured output temperature and told me I could use a 'head cleaning'. He also told me that I was low on Freon. He quoted me $1265 to top off the Freon (plus tax). I looked up the price of the refrigerant to find retail price is $75 to $300 for 25 lbs and my system 'needed' about a half pound (it only takes 3lbs from empty) which reasonably means that I needed as little as $1 worth of R410. A quick internet search tells me that it's a 5 minute job to put the refrigerant in. So, I paid $200 for a 'tune up' that did nothing to tune up the system but rather was just a 'foot in the door'. And I got a quote for topping off Freon that was more that you can buy a mini split system components for new (uninstalled). That's my experience with these guys.
