I paid in full upfront for a complete electrical upgrade and new window installation, which I now regret. I expected the project to follow the schedule in our signed contract, but it did not. It has now been over a year. Workers who were present early on became less present over time. The contractor states his crew was on site full‑time, but that did not match what I personally observed or what neighbors reported. Communication became inconsistent, deadlines were missed, and progress slowed significantly. Because of ongoing delays and work that licensed professionals later described as deficient, I ended the contract. The contractor says he was not given time to finish, but my documentation reflects many delays and reassurances over a 10‑month period. Independent inspectors and engineers identified issues with window installation, electrical work, and structural elements. Their written reports suggest that several items require revision to meet safety and code standards. This is particularly important to me, my family, and guests who will be staying there. It was onlly after termination that I received change orders. They were not accompanied by the detailed invoices I had been requesting for months. The contractor has still not provided supporting documentation, and it has been well over a year. In my opinion, and based on conversations with other professionals and their written reports, the amounts listed are extremely high, exaggerated and inconsistent with the work completed. A substantial amount of work remains unfinished or needs revision. I've attached communication and documents related to my experience so others can review the information directly and form their own conclusions. For clarity, the contract ended due to repeated delays, missed contractual deadlines, and work that inspectors and other licensed professionals documented as not meeting code requirements. These findings were especially concerning to me because my family and guests will be staying in the home. The contractor maintains he was not given time to finish. My records show many delays and reassurances throughout the project, and significant work remains incomplete. From my perspective, he was given multiple opportunities to complete the work that had been paid for in full 10 months ago, specifically the electrical upgrade and full window installation. Mine had not been pumped in nearly 15 years, so I gave Maggio & Sons a call. I was amazed that they offered to fit my house in their schedule for the very next day. The only requirement was that I have my tank top open and ready for them when they arrived. (So....you must locate and dig to expose your septic tank cover on your own -- usually not difficult). They arrived with their truck right on time the next day, navigated their huge truck backwards up my narrow drive expertly and had the pump pumping into the truck in just a few minutes. The whole pumpout process took only 15-20 minutes, and they were gone. Very courteous, efficient service. I recommend Maggio and Sons for septic service unhesitatingly. It would be an understatement that my project was complicated and intimidating. Limited access to the property and backyard further complicated the scope and ease of executing this project. My wife and I solicited several inquiries from different contractors, and were only made more aware of the complications and challenges ahead based upon the lack of willingness many demonstrated in taking on this project for us. Finding a contractor willing to navigate the challenges of the property while executing within a realistic timeline and within an affordable price seemed impossible. That was until we spoke with Maggio. Artie was confident from day one that he and his team would be able to create an attainable resolution. Artie and his team came up with several approaches we could take on executing the retaining wall replacement, provided us a reasonable price, and then met every benchmark set during our project planning and execution. While on site, Maggio's team was efficient and effective proceeding with care and safety but working at a pace that exceeded our expectations. The completed work is gorgeous and far exceeded our expectations for what our backyard would look like. It's already been such a tremendous relief to have our backyard secured, rebuilt, and drained correctly to avoid erosion damage like we experienced with the previous retaining wall. The detail work he did is stellar - I am still noticing things he took care of without us having to ask. He worked really quickly too which was helpful since the epicenter of our home was completely torn apart. He ALSO found and fixed some MAJOR problems without adding very much to the over all cost of the project which was very, very kind, something most other contractors would have taken advantage of. The last thing I will say is that the weekend before we were set to start the renovation, I severely broke my ankle. I was sending notes and sketches to Cole from my hospital bed and he was unbelievably patient, kind, and open to whatever we wanted to do and made sure he had what we wanted just right. He was easy to work with and made sure we were happy with every single decision. He also gave us great advice when we were considering a bad choice for materials or design. I seriously cannot recommend him enough, Cole is a great contractor, does excellent and HONEST work. The siding needs to be removed, dumped and reinstalled with brand new materials. The windows and the door are out of plumb. No flashing was installed anywhere . The window framing is missing from inside . We asked Dwaine to come up with some solution but he refused it. When we asked for reimbursement, he became verbally aggressive. When we reported Radical design and construction to BBB and Attorney General, he answered with lies and accusations without any proof . We don't recommend his service.

David was the only one who just told me straight up, hey, this is pretty easy, you can probably do it yourself, let me show you how. He got on a video call with me, pointed me to the right spot, told me what the parts were actually called, and told me where to go get them. Super transparent about all of it. I went to Home Depot, got an $8 flexible hose, and it took about two minutes to install. Worked swimmingly. Everyone else gave me a quote. David gave me hope. He's who I'm calling when I have something that actually needs a plumber.
