Everyone there is polite and welcoming. I greatly appreciate them. They also have the best deal in town for the energy drink I like. I seem to have the best odds when it comes to winning when playing scratchers from here as well. The store is always very clean too. Probably the cleanest convenience store in Soledad. Most of the alcohol that's worth anything is behind the counter. The rest of the stuff is common junk so it's no surprise that someone made a bad comment. I had a run-in with her when I first started going there too. Whenever I see her. It reminds me that she is a bitch but I came there for something in the store not to feed on her negative energy.

It's not chewy and full of tendons and grissle like most other places in Salinas. It is tender and so full of flavor. Also they are not stingy with it that's for sure. My torta was stuffed full! I can't wait to try what else they have. Yum! Update: I went back a week later at dinner time and purchased carne asada burritos and another carne asada torta. The meat was not good at all. It tasted old and overly reheated. Almost jerky like. I was bummed because I was really craving what I got the last time. I won't completely dismiss this place, and because of that first incredible torta I'll only reduce my rating to 4, but I'm definitely going to try again at another lunch break. I'll stay hopeful and post results
