For both visits, they went very smooth. Finding my selections was no problem at all. The staff always welcomed Sophia and I during our two visits and were willing to help any way they could. The process didn't take long for me to select two pairs of shoes to my liking. And Sophia purchased a pair the 2nd time we were there. Checking out was definitely a breeze with staff and was seamless. There's not really much to add except that I was very pleased with the experience. This place still holds up and will be used again the next time we need shoes. Till next time :)

I was checking out, mind you no one else in the store that you could see and the register lady was being really nice. My 8 year old started out rough with the wheel- I get it. I told him to stop and he did. his TWO year old brother who could barely spin it started trying it and as im giving my email this lady had thenerve to direct my children sternly???? excuse me? I didnt say anything and her badge of her name was hidden so I dont even have a name. HOWEVER that wheel is kid height- they did nothing but spin it and you talk ugly to my children???? Especially to my TWO year old who is just trying to get it to spin in the first place. Then when she walked around the counter and before i cohld even take a step my TWO year old tried again and she caught an atridue in her face towards him. will be going out of my way to go somewhere else and telling my clients and friends/family to do the same because who do you think you are talking to children you dont even know like that? I returned jt to the store, explaining that I had lost the receipt and asking if they could look up my purchase. They said they did not have the ability to do that. I then asked if they could just give me a Rose's gift card. The said they could not do that either. They told me all they could do was allow me to "shop it out" (their words) NOW. Now, my kids get to experience the Conv-Craze while back-to-school shopping. Store's pretty well stocked in namesake varieties for the entire family: kid, men's, and women's, though converse intentionally brands lots of their products as unisex; on the box, you'll readily see "men 5.5 women 7." PRO TIP1: Converse runs 0.5 size big vs your regular size, so since my son is a 4 we bought a 3.5! In search of a deal, today's 40% off sale limited our size/style selection. We still found several pairs. Aisles are narrow and can be cramped with other shoppers present. Didn't prevent us from buying 2 pairs for a total of $43 with tax. Line was long with only 1 register open. The employees were friendly and even issued a gift receipt for a pair we planned to gift! PRO TIP2: Converse doesn't make many half sizes, so snag 'em if you see 'em.

So when I learned they had a store much closer to me I had to shop them with an agenda of purchasing a new vest. The store is located in Merchants Square and replaced was a long standing independent that was beloved, "The Craft House". That part is sad to learn. The sales lady Ally was over the top friendly when I initially called to ask about their brands and inventory of vest. They carry Duck Head which I was specifically looking at. She held a few sizes for me with low inventory. When I came in she knew who I was and pulled the two out to try on. The sizing chart for the Fremont style vest had me in a Large. They calculate weight and chest size. It was correct. Unfortunately no sales on this luxury brand. I browsed the store and found more and more to purchase for myself and gifts. The Cotopaxi backpack for my daughter heading to Europe this Spring seemed perfect. I'm draw to quality and they had all the best brands for outdoors. I also looked at a Patagonia coat and Vuori pants. Unfortunately not my size. I also looked at their socks and shoes. Love that they offer Feetures socks a total favorite. Also Blundstone shoes from Australia. Checkout of all my items was smooth on a card. My items have a generous return policy of 30 days. I will absolutely return again in the coming year.
