I have been a patient of Dr. Brian Wallace's for several years following a torn ACL repair. I…read morerecently made an appointment due to shoulder pain and decreased strength in the gym. Dr. Wallace ordered an MRI which is conveniently located in the Joint Replacement Institute practice. His staff worked with my insurance when they first denied coverage even though it was the last few days of the year and my family had more than met the deductible. The MRI was covered and revealed a 50% torn rotator cuff and Dr. Wallace suggested PRP (Plasma Rich Platelets). Blood is drawn from the patient and spun to produce PRP which contains a mixture of platelets, including cytokines and growth factors, and has anti-inflammatory properties which injected into an injury site can stimulate the healing process. I have truly been more than pleased with the results. I no longer have shoulder pain including when I lay on my side and I am working my way back up to push-ups and heavier weights in the gym. As a surgeon, Dr. Wallace looks for non-surgical remedies when they are an option. I was under the impression that Dr Herron was a top hand surgeon but I am really disappointed as he did not prepare me for the after surgery experience and have not seen him since the day of the surgery. Instead I have met with his PA, Sarah Donnelly who has been very nice and basically has told me that depending on the severity, nerve damage can take up to a year to improve. I really was not given this information prior to surgery or told what to expect during the healing process. Needless to say I am very disappointed.

Amy will greet you at the door when you walk in and is always welcoming and warm. Dr. Cumberbatch is the best. He takes time with me each week and more if needed, and never rushes me. He did wonderful on the incision and very carefully worked around my tattoo. Cameron works with Dr. Cumberbatch and is kind and attentive. Start to finish my experience with the joint replacement Institute was disappointing. I got x-rays and then I saw Sarah, a PA. I took an appointment with a PA rather than Dr. Heron in order to get in sooner. I was asked by the scheduler to explain my reasons for being seen, then a technician asked me to go over everything with her again, and when Sara came into the office, I felt as though there had been no communication amongst them. She asked me why I was there. Sarah has a lot to learn about patient care. I did not feel as though she was knowledgeable or helpful in any way. I felt as though her diagnosis was off target and her suggestions for possible treatment were uncaring and I don't believe they would've resolved my problems. Her guesstimate of what was wrong with my thumb joint was very different than a previous diagnosis I've had from another doctor. I don't believe she had even looked at the x-ray and I was never shown the x ray during the appointment. This whole experience has been a waste of time and my money. I am thoroughly frustrated that I will now have to start all over with a new provider. One who will hopefully make the correct diagnosis and provide me with options to deal with my joint problems and pain. I also felt as though the administrative staff were arrogant and detached. The only person in the office that seemed to be doing a good job was the girl who called me in and took me back to the appointment room. Ugh! Good luck getting good care here. My mother, who has been living in an assisted living apartment at Terracina Grand for the past 6…read moreyears moved to The Gardens at Terracina Health and Rehabilitation after she had a stroke. We spent a long time looking for the right place for her and were happy to have found this one. My Mom is 91 years old and has had frequent hospitalizations in the past 10 years and we are so grateful for the care and patience with which she has been treated for this extended period of time. She has several physical therapists and occupational therapists in both the Gardens as well as her apartment at Terracina Grand and they always work with her to build up her strength and get back to a normal way of life. She has been in a wheelchair ever since her stroke but there are always enough CNAs and Nurses who monitor her medication and get her to and from the bathroom, as well as work with her when she has problems swallowing. The food is very good particularly at the Gardens and even though it sometimes must be softened so that she can easily eat it, she is usually able to rehabilitate herself with the help of the wonderful people who attend her there. We couldn't be happier than to have a place such as The Gardens for Mom to recuperate in until she is strong enough to go back to a more independent lifestyle which is available at Terracina Grand.

Not many podiatrist do,most would just want to keep giving cortisone shots(forever) The office building was nice,staff courteous,nice clean waiting room. My appointment was for 10am. I arrived promptly at 10,there was a few pages of paper work to fill out. I was called in about 10:30am. The assistant was nice,she took more information from me and did an x-ray on my foot. After that Doctor Malinoski took over. She listened to me,analyzed the x-ray,and let me know of my treatment options and success rate. She was not pushing me to start on cortisone shots,but explained me how they can work for certain patients. She gave me a clear price of the shockwave therapy and the amount of sessions I will need,she also informed me what to expect after the treatment. I have high hopes to heal my plantar fasciitis with the shockwave therapy after several people around me had great success.
