This is only a pain management group that knows nothing about healing spines!…read more I too, waited almost two hours for Brittany to tell me that back discs don't heal even after I told her I healed after a similar injury 20 years ago. She still said that discs will not heal and I would need surgery. These folks only recommend drugs and surgery. Even the surgeon said that 80% of people with pinched nerves heal, but only after I said I wanted to delay surgery! I researched my problem and healed my back without surgery and without any help from any of the 3 clinics I visited. Healing frequencies, copper, peptides, nontraditional PT, inversion table and more. Learn about the Flexner report and how JP Morgan and Andrew Carnegie used a bogus report to convince congress to defund 80% of medical schools. You know, the ones that taught natural health and healing?!

I saw Brittney..she seemed thorough but then said I had to start with injections..that would be scheduled 3 weeks out as doctor would be out of town. That they would not prescribe pain medication and at first visit I had to pee in a cup. They treated me like a drug addict. I am looking at 4 different surgeries in the near future...I threw the cup to urinate in out..told them I would not be needing their services and left. If you a looking for pain management I would suggest going elsewhere.

I went to a different…read moreENT, had testing, and was told there was nothing wrong!  Someone mentioned Carolina Functional Neurology, so had I to give it a try.  Wow!!!  I am so glad I did!!  Everyone there is amazing.  They did all these tests none of the ENTs ever tried. They found the problem, explained it to me in simple terms that even I could understand. Though it wasn't a quick fix, they knew the problem and how to treat it.  The dizziness is now gone! I can't thank Dr. Miret and Dr. Glickman enough.  So very grateful!!!

Pre-CFNC treatment I was dealing with severe brain fog, dizziness, heart palpitations, nausea, and bloating (and so many more severe issues). Dr. Miret placed me on a treatment plan that almost fully resolved all of these. I can think clearly for the first time since 2022 and have seen so much improvement through all of my symptoms. If you're on the fence about whether it is worth it to seek treatment here, I really encourage you to do so. After seeing endless specialists the last few years, this team was the first to really help me. I will forever be grateful for everything they have done for me.

Just when I thought Raleigh Orthopaedic couldn't get any worse, they proved me wrong today. I am…read morealmost 4 months post-op from a total left knee replacement and still have the same inflammation I had the week of surgery. Three weeks ago, I was there for X-rays to see if bone had grown into my tibial component, as there was a 2 mm gap between the component and the bone. At that visit, I was told they saw signs of bone growth. Today, I was told by Casey, Dr. McNabb's PA, that there is "no way to know" by looking at an X-ray. That is a drastic change from what I was told three weeks ago. When I questioned the inconsistency, I was told they had "retracted" what they told me originally. I was also told you cannot see bone growth on an X-ray; other surgeons do not agree with this. My recovery with Dr. McNabb and his PA has been terrible. I went to two other orthopedic surgeons, and both told me there is no bone growth and that the tibial component is possibly loose, showing this to me in detail on my imaging. Raleigh Orthopaedic either does not want to acknowledge this or is refusing to admit it -I honestly don't know. Because of this, we are now talking about a revision in the next few months with either UNC or Emerge Ortho, both of whom have been excellent at explaining everything clearly. I'm in my fifties, and this has been the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. After surgery, I felt completely on my own. At one point, Dr. McNabb even told me that the physical therapy staff on the third floor "did not know what they were talking about." Bottom line: terrible experience. Get a second opinion. I didn't - and I truly wish I had.
