I found this place online and decided to do an online registration (I'm the kind of a person that likes to do everything online instead of calling). My appointment was at 8:30am, so I got there like at 8:10am. Unfortunately, they were understaffed and opening at 9am. I was gonna wait outside, but Keshia, one of the nurses, help me and quickly checked me in. The doctor was really nice and help me with my ear pain (I didn't get her name). I was out of there at 9am. I recommend to do the online registration and maybe calling beforehand to verify the time. Also try to get there early if possible.

I waited in the lobby for an hour because the employee who handles non-DOT drug testing had stepped out. The biggest issue was that no one at the front desk could tell me when she would be returning or answer any of the other questions I had. The staff seemed completely unprepared and unsure of what was going on. I understand that unexpected things happen, but the lack of communication and customer service was extremely frustrating. I expected a much more organized experience, especially for something as time-sensitive as a clinical requirement. Oh yeah I left she's still out .

Although it's an older building, they have provided two accessibility ramps to help welcome everyone. As someone who is visually impaired, check-in kiosks without audible options can leave me excluded. Here, the receptionist helped with my paperwork, and the nurse and physician assistant treated me with kindness and respect. We speak up when access fails. Let's celebrate when people get it right. I was diagnosed from my doctors in AZ with an upper respiratory infection. I went here. I made an appointment. Waited an hour to be seen. Next it was a PA who came in. She looked at my right ear only said I did not have an ear infection. And, to start taking Sudafed. She never looked at my left ear. Never felt my throat. Did not listen to my lungs. Then told me she suffers from ear ringing herself on the daily. I will be going to another place for my urgent care needs.

The front office staff were great and worked to fit me in last minute with Dr. Notaro due to a scheduling mishap on my part. The patient portal allows you to upload documents you want to share with the physician, however, it seems to only be allowed if you are either making an appointment or have an existing one. The lobby was smaller than you'd usually find at a physician's office but the wait was minimal. Dr. Notaro was very patient knowing it was my first time with a DO and not knowing what to expect. She gave me her background and listened to my concerns. I never felt like she was anxious to move to the next patient and felt comfortable talking with her. I can't speak for any other physician, but Dr Notaro and the front office staff were great and I would highly recommend them.

(My dignity is still intact!) My wait time was only about 15 minutes (due to my own paperwork). They were able to get me generic prescriptions, which was very much appreciated, and were very knowledgeable with wound care and took the time to answer any questions. We all hate getting sick, so I won't say that I had a blast at Tremont. I will say, however, that for an urgent care, they are probably the best in Raleigh.

Dr. Tope took time to answer my questions and never showed impatience or scorn about anything I said or asked (which frequently happens to me with most doctors). The nurses were friendly and explained everything to me and made me feel at ease with shots, etc. They don't take insurance, but you can pay with an HSA or flex-spending card (there is one exception that I don't remember so I would call first to find out if they take your card). Very happy with this place- it's the only Urgent Care I'll use from here on out!

I witnessed her patience dealing with a situation with someone in the waiting area. The PA my son saw was the same PA that stitched my finger last year. He provided thorough care and explained to both of us the best ways to treat the problem. He even took extra time to look up my records from last year to clarify a question my primary doctor had about that visit. The waiting area was clean & comfortable, except a few chairs that were peeling, and Wi-Fi was available, if needed.

For nursing mama's, Michelle the Lactation Consultant, is fantastic to work with. Helps address lactation related issues with attention and love. Patients of the practice have the benefit of utilizing an online "patient portal" which allows you track and make appointments, medication, immunization records and everything else! Super convenient for forgetful moms like me. As a bonus, the practice is open something like 360+ days out of the year which makes it super convenient to get in and see someone at the last minute. Only negative I can think of is the waiting room layout--there's a "sick" and a "healthy" side. The front desk isn't very good about reminding patients about the room distinction and the signs they have on the wall are not very noticeable--pay attention especially during cold and flu season.
