After finding out my go-to crystal shop closed, I began to search for other options. I stumbled upon Solar Moon Crystals and came the very next day to scope things out.
Katie has a full-time job and is currently open only on the weekends, so I advise you to check her Facebook page for updates about business hours before making the journey to the store.
The store itself is not what you'd expect from the outside, but Katie put directions with photos on her Facebook that helped me figure out where to go. There are two designated parking spots parallel to the shop specifically for customers, and some side streets you could park on as well.
Once you find the shop and get inside (you have to ring a bell), you'll be greeted with a nice selection of crystals (towers, free forms, minerals, etc.) along with suncatchers, soaps, candles, and miscellaneous tchotchkes.
I found the items to be extremely reasonably priced and spent $100 easily.
I wish there were more giant slabs, carvings (I need a goddess body!!), and pieces with druzy inclusions. But she is a small business just getting up and running so there is time to grow the inventory.
I'll be keeping an eye on the Solar Moon socials to watch for new releases, specials, sales, etc. read more
