Of all the stores to have the velvet rope outside, I'm not surprised this was one of them. What I did find frustrating is that I actually had an appointment (for cleaning) and the door guy with a blank expression said I still had to wait. After a few minutes, we were let in and I was led towards the back of the store where customer service was located. Instead of a window that they used to have, now it's a desk. I did have to wait a while for this as well; as I saw a couple at another desk getting some rings resized, but finally I had a different woman come out who seemed very nice. I had to chuckle because as I browsed, not a single associate acknowledged me, however I do believe this *might* be due to the line system outside, and they were (to be fair) waiting on customers accordingly. However, some of the employees were talking amongst themselves, or ducking behind the counters adjusting displays. I wandered around for a good 5 minutes or so before my jewelry was brought back out. After receiving my items, I spoke to the woman briefly and surprisingly, there was one associate who was familiar (they were in the back the whole time) and had just walked onto the floor. This was a pleasant conversation with someone I haven't seen in years, a positive piece of the past. This was the highlight of my visit here at the 'new' Tiffany thanks to Carre.

There are retro relics and amazing antiques throughout the building, with a couple cozy nooks for readings and such. The rear opens up onto a nice outdoor courtyard and I'm anxious to see what happens there. The grand opening was nice with snacks and beverages as well as live music. Lor was happy to give everyone a tour of the space and to go over the services she offers. I'm forgetting a few but these are some of the readings...coffee cup, palm and runes. She also does guidance consults and sells various floral "wands" that she enchants. I got the Sage Wand, enchanted for "light", meant to drive out darkness. They come with instructions on how to properly use them. Mystic Lor clearly loves what she does and is proud of her new shop and the services she offers.
