Kaiser offers dental via Delta Care USA as part of my package plan. Saw my regular dentist for cleaning in 2025, no issues. Waited 5 months and decided to try the Kaiser plan dentist. Was assigned to this office. They had no openings for three months, but took the appointment anyway. They did numerous x-rays, more than I ever had experienced. Felt like they were trying to find something wrong with me. The dentist comes in looks in my mouth for about 8 seconds and then says I need deep cleaning and a cap that never gave me any problems removed and redone. He said a gap between that tooth and another would cause me to eventually cause a root canal. I did not agree. I knew I did not need deep cleaning or a cap removed and redone. I asked to just have my teeth cleaned. He refused to clean my teeth unless I agreed to deep cleaning and a new cap. I got up off the chair and left. Set up an appointment with my old dentist. My regular dentist cleaned my teeth, x-rayed the tooth that so called needed a new cap and found no problems. No deep cleaning needed. Obviously to me he was trying to drum up extra income for himself. Then weeks later his office staff calls to ask when would I like to have my cap redone. Unbelievable! I am reporting him to Kaiser Delta Care USA. Beware!

I got to know the front office as well as Dr Yu as he would always greeted me and took time to update me on my sons' dental health. The level of attentiveness that the whole office gives to their patients was way beyond my old dentist. They treated us like family and every greeting was heartfelt. I finally decided to switch to Dr Yu earlier this year and couldn't be happier. He always takes the time to explain every procedure and I feel extremely confident that I'm getting the best care from him. I wished I had became a patient sooner and definitely recommend his office to anyone looking .

I went ahead and scheduled for Friday November 7 at 12pm. Today I called to confirm and they stated that "there is no assigned doctor for November yet and we don't know when their schedule is." So pretty much the appointment I had set with them means nothing and pretty much there's no doctor available. Poor patient experience in appointment setting, please do not provide misinformation to people seeking help. Do better.

I was told I could pay using a specific method, but their system was down, so I was asked to use another payment method with the assurance that they would refund it and reprocess the payment with the first payment method I had chosen. That refund never happened. No one from the office reached out to follow up. I had to call them myself. When I did, I was told they couldn't issue the refund "for accounting reasons," with no clear explanation or resolution. I do want to note that the dentists themselves do fantastic work, and my issue is not with the clinical care. However, poor communication and failure to follow through on billing promises made this a very disappointing experience.

Dr. Jain is obviously a very experienced oral surgeon, and contrary to the AI generated description on the website, there's nothing comforting about her care. She recommends crowns and crowns and crowns, rarely addressing any of the standard care topics here in the US. The entire visit felt more like a dental surgeon chomping at the bit for well, more surgery. Old habits die hard, and some of these old habits are certainly playing for gold medal at the Olympics. Thank you to Dr. Khoury and Dr. Khores for the care I've received so far, and I hope things cool down around here in the future.

I saw the previous reviews about tool cleanliness so I was a little concerned, but my tooth was aching too much so I didn't check too carefully, unfortunately. They accept Medi-Cal and new patients, for now at least, which was why I came here. A lot of dentists listed with Medi-Cal are not accepting new patients and don't bother updating their listings, so it was a bit of a hassle to find someone who did. Dr. Vu was polite and efficient in extracting my aching wisdom teeth and it didn't hurt thanks to the properly applied anesthesia. I was a little concerned about the lack of aftercare instructions regarding two extracted wisdom teeth, but it's general knowledge and easy enough to look up, plus my extraction appointment was an emergency appointment scheduled a mere 2 hours ahead of time (I'm also just now realizing I had mistook their hours with a different clinic's and called before they were even open and still got a response and an appointment), so I understand if there was a bit of a rush. The overall experience was fine and Dr. Vu gave me the option of adding some collagen plugs and sutures that weren't covered by Medi-Cal, though he was clear on the pricing and the lack of coverage. I took the options to be safe. In general, it was a pleasant experience, with the front-desk being very friendly and the doctor himself fairly brisk but capable. There was some dirt near the feet of the dental chair I was sitting on, but the overall operating area looked clean.

I was so mad that he would take advantage of me. I had to let him know to give my mouth a break for opening too much. He was not nice about it. Then he wanted to do a teeth cleaning, which I thought was weird. My mouth had been open too many time for the day and I didn't think I could hold out any longer.
