First off, she said she had a job offer for $26/HR cus she remembered about a bullshit side note she put along to help me find a job I guess, & then bring up my bad review on Yelp saying some shit like she didn't appreciate it and it wasn't her idea of cutting me off from a previous job I was wrking with that goes thru them. But why would you bring up a job offer AND my Yelp review at the same time AND call me on a block number? Like that's real unprofessional, and I ain't gotta be professional, they just a temp agency. It didn't make sense until it hit me, she was just really concerned about the 1 star rate and bad review on Yelp lmao. Grapevine was one of two nanny agencies recommended to us by our hotel. Their online booking experience was easy and I found their rates more reasonable than the other nanny agency our hotel recommended. (I reached out to both and quickly compared all-in pricing.) The babysitter we were assigned, Rima, arrived on time and kept us updated on how things were going. She brought games and activities for my 7 year old daughter based on her interests, which I appreciated. The only thing that was a bit challenging is that we had to communicate with our babysitter via the Telegram app, which was new and different for me. I would have preferred WhatsApp or simple texting instead. Overall, I was happy with Grapevine and would recommend them to anyone looking for at-hotel childcare while in wine country with their children.
