I truly believe her success is a direct reflection of the wonderful teachers and curriculum at TFH Preschool. The staff and teachers are patient, nurturing, and genuinely invested in each child's growth. They provided the perfect balance of learning and play, building my daughter's confidence, independence, and love for school. My most favorite part was the faith-based learning; the kids practiced praying, learned how to pray for one another, and were encouraged to show kindness and gratitude every day. TFH didn't just prepare her academically, they helped her thrive socially and emotionally too. She made beautiful friendships, learned responsibility, and looked forward to going to school. The academics were decent and some of teachers were very good- many are not credentialed. Many teachers had left while we were there. I'm rating the school off the diversity and the staff and how they handled certain situations- like behavior issues. My son broke his leg here due to facilities- but we decided not to sue. Hopefully these issues were fixed. As the school had many structural issues when we were there. By the way the principal handled my other son, you can tell she was not highly educated in child development. Our older child also observed the behaviors and language that many of the students had that were condoned. Again, diversity and treatment was an observation for us. This is not a secret about this school. I think 2 stars is generous.

I stumbled across this Yelp page and looked into their curriculum/website and knew I wanted to enroll my son right away. They held 2 programs, a Preschool program and a Pre-K class for older kids. Ages range from 2.9 years of age to 5 years of age. I knew my son would be a tough one. He's been stuck at home with just us and a few people we kept in our circle due to the shelter-in-place so we knew once he started school, it would be hard for us all. Miss. Lucille, the director gave us a tour over the summer and everything was so organized and clean. The children switches rooms during class which included an imagination room, art room and discovery room. There is also a big room where they eat snacks/lunch and a place where kids place all of their belongings. The playground is huge and all of the equipment are well kept and up to date. Initially my son was scared and was glued to our hip on his first day but his Pre-K teacher, Miss. Salina was fabulous. She knew how to work with his separation anxiety, sent me a picture of him and her when he was happy and settled in, gave me updates throughout the day and even showed me pictures of him finally participating because he was comfortable enough to do so. After one year of being at St. Mark's, we have seen tremendous improvement with our son. He knows how to write his own name, letters, numbers, color in-between the lines, tells us about the stories they read him, knows how to do sign language with every letter, the list goes on and on. He comes home from school and raves about all of the teachers, esp his own teacher Miss. Salina. He absolutely adored her. Their Pre-K graduation was the cutest thing ever. The kids were all well behaved on stage and each child knew exactly what they had to do. It was such an emotional, heartwarming event. We are sad that this school year came to an end but it was the best decision we made to enroll our son at their school. All of the teachers and staff are amazing and they really care for your child like their own. All of the teachers we've come across are amazing (Miss. Lucille, Miss. Salina, Miss. Sarah, Miss. Pat, Miss. Myung, Miss. Barbara, Miss, Sonja, Miss. Moe, Miss. Linda) we love them all! Don't hesitate to enroll your child if you're looking for a great program for your children. They also started a new program called, "Two's" for children younger than 2.9 years old. I wish they had a program for Kindergarten as well. I would have totally kept our son at St. Mark's for Kindergarten. We love you St. Mark's and we will see you all soon once our little girl starts preschool.

One of our kids has a severe food allergy. St. Mark's staff is competent and attentive. They made sure that the food they offered were nutritious and safe. In addition to being loving and fun, staff also ensure that the kids are ready for kindergarten. We are thrilled with how much the kids have learned and the various types of experiences the school provides. Our older child described St. Mark's as "magical." Our kids actually get sad when they have to miss school for whatever reason. They love their teachers, and the teachers clearly care about their students. They could be teaching for teachers' unions in public schools, earning more money, but they choose our school because they care intensely about our kids and our families holistically: Intellectually, emotionally, physically, spiritually. I've trusted all my many kids with many normal kid-play injuries over MANY years to the wonderful women in the office, both the office manager and office assistant. They call me right away, disclose all the details of the injury, tell me how they treated them (with a lot of medical experience, I assure you they do everything I would have EVERY time), offer to talk to my child and of course allow me to pick them up if I ever deem it necessary. The teachers and administration answer every email and Class Dojo message I've ever sent, no matter how small the topic, within a very short time. Whenever I've approached the principal with a question or concern, she welcomes it with humility and openness, and actually makes changes worth making (this is notably not the case with many school principals). She surrounds herself with committees to make sure she's not missing anything. Between our excellent principal, our wonderful office manager, and our warm office assistant, the ambience in the office is pleasant and welcoming. As a parent, I don't want to leave when I stop in! The school community has really wonderful families we've befriended over the years or worked with on school volunteer opportunities. But for us, the most important aspect is the faith aspect. Our kids get to learn about the Catholic Faith through a beautiful and formational religion program; and they get to see it reflected in the faculty and administration in various ways, through their unique gifts, virtues, and sacrifices. My own faith has been enriched just through getting to know them and seeing their own, personal love of God.

No matter what staff it is in the entire school, they will only punish the people who were blamed. Not even asking their side of the story. He puts his work on other staff members. The academics at this school have dropped considerably. There is no data-driven decision-making by this incompetent leader. He has been observed making comments about the staff members whose husbands abuse them and who do and do not come from money. He has created a culture of gossip. Many families are choosing to remove their children from this school. I encourage you to do the same.
