My son has been going to Caster's Quality Childcare since he was 18 months old. He is almost 5 now. I can't say enough good things about Miss Elizabeth and the rest of her family who help out. My son absolutely adores everyone there and she completely potty trained him! My son has learned so much and actively wants to go to daycare every day. Being able to trust who watches your children is so important and we couldn't possibly trust the Caster's crew any more than we already do. They are WONDERFUL

My son, playing in the daycare's fenced front yard.

At first, he was very shy and had a hard time being away from his mom and me. With the kindness and patience of Mrs. Harshini, Mrs. Zora, Mrs. Monica, and the other teachers, he gradually opened up and grew more confident. The teachers are caring and attentive, and you can feel how seriously they take their responsibility for the children. I was especially touched by the way Mrs. Harshini would comfort a child who was sad, picking them up and caring for them as if they were her own. That meant so much to me as a grandmother. My grandson learned to do more for himself, and we saw wonderful growth in his reading, writing, and social skills. He also enjoyed the activities and the warm, comfortable learning environment. I loved how the school welcomed parents, fathers, and grandparents to be involved. It felt like a close family. We were proud to see my grandson graduate and ready for his next step, but we were sad to leave a school we had come to love so much. I'm grateful for the care, comfort, and education he received at Fairfield Montessori School. I would highly recommend it to any family. Who's looking for a caring and loving environment. From the very beginning, we knew our daughter was somewhere she was genuinely cared for, supported, and encouraged to grow. The entire Fairfield Montessori team has always been incredibly kind, welcoming, communicative, and supportive of our family. We have watched our daughter grow so much during her time at Fairfield Montessori, both academically and personally. Most importantly, we always felt confident dropping her off each day knowing she was in a safe, nurturing environment surrounded by people who truly cared about her. As she moves on to kindergarten, saying goodbye to Fairfield Montessori is incredibly bittersweet. This school will always hold a special place in our hearts because it was such an important part of the beginning of our life here in California. We are so grateful for the role the Fairfield team played in our daughter's early years and for the wonderful memories she made there. If you are looking for a loving, nurturing Montessori environment for your child, I wholeheartedly recommend Fairfield Montessori. Thank you to the entire Fairfield Montessori team for everything you have done for our daughter and our family. We will miss you tremendously!

Our daughter Kaia started with Samantha as a little toddler, and from day one, we knew we found something special. The amount of care, intention, and heart she pours into the kids is rare. The home-cooked meals alone are incredible (meals I wish someone cooked for me), but it is so much more than that. There is structure, fun, learning, outdoor time, music, a jumpee, arts and crafts, everything a child needs to grow, explore, and feel safe. When we first started, there was a mutual trial period and we were a little weirded out by it, but now we totally get it, Samantha makes sure it's a great fit for her as well as for you, as a parent. The result is a group of very well adjusted kids, parents who care and are invested in their kid's development, and a group of kids that care for each other. Samantha communicates, sets clear expectations, and makes parents feel at ease. Even on days when drop-off was tough, Kaia ran into her arms like she was going to see family. That tells you everything. Our daughter has grown in ways we cannot even put into words, socially, emotionally, and developmentally. Samantha has been an essential part of our household and our lives. Leaving California means leaving Homegrown Daycare, and it is bittersweet. This place is unforgettable, and so is Samantha. If you are a parent searching for a daycare where your child will be loved, protected, and poured into, look no further. We are forever grateful for her and her own family. We hope they come visit us in Hawaii someday. Five stars is not enough for the level of care she gives. Samantha, Kaia and we will miss you so very much and thank you for guiding Kaia's growth love, kindness, and patience.

We're so proud of the person she has become and we owe a lot of her mental, emotional and social development to Maria and her family at Cordelia Family Daycare. While she may have been apprehensive at the very beginning, it wasn't long before she started looking forward to spending time with Ms. Maria and the other children whenever we needed to drop her off before work or after school. On our rides back home we love listening to her talk about her day and the friends she made at daycare. We love that they're an in-home daycare for many reasons -- the home-like feel, the individual attention and the flexibility. Their hours and days of operation are extremely convenient and we could not have asked for more from a scheduling standpoint (especially on days when school is closed for one reason or another). Maria is a kind, understanding and patient person, doing a job (with Roheena and Monisa) that is far from easy and doing it well. They say "it takes a village to raise a child" and we are so grateful to have Cordelia Family Daycare in our village.

They have been patient, compassionate, encouraging, and willing to think outside the box to help her thrive. They celebrate her accomplishments, no matter how big or small, and continue to encourage her to try new things and grow at her own pace. What means the most to us is that they see our daughter for the amazing child she is--not just her challenges. They recognize her strengths, celebrate her personality, and make sure she feels like she belongs. ZERO STAR STORY -…read more I'm writing this review specifically to warn parents of young children who are considering Kiddie Academy for transportation to and from school. My 4-year-old daughter attended Kiddie Academy for only ONE WEEK, and that one week was enough for me to pull her out. Kiddie Academy was responsible for transporting her to her TK class in the morning and picking her up afterward. I never had concerns with afternoon pickup, but the morning transportation was a completely different story. On her very first day, there was confusion about which school she attended, despite all of her paperwork clearly stating the correct school. Throughout that week, she was also arriving at school 10-15 minutes late. The final straw was when Ms. Mel casually informed me, "We got in trouble this morning because they found your daughter wandering the school campus by herself before she made it to class." When I questioned how that could happen, the explanation I was given was, "We told her to get in line." Ms. Mel also explained that their bus drivers are unable to get off the bus to help young children get to their classes. She is FOUR YEARS OLD. If your transportation policy does not allow your driver to get off the bus, then there should be another procedure in place to ensure a four-year-old is safely transferred into the supervision of school staff. Telling a four-year-old to "get in line" and driving away without confirming that she safely made it where she needed to go was completely unacceptable to me. I pulled her out immediately because I no longer trusted Kiddie Academy to transport her safely. When I raised my concerns with Ms. Nickole, I was also extremely disappointed with how the situation was handled and felt the response and apology were unprofessional and dismissive given the seriousness of what happened. I'm sharing this because other parents deserve to know about my experience before trusting this facility with transportation. My daughter was there for only one week, and that was one week too long. I would never recommend Kiddie Academy to anyone I love or care about, especially if you are relying on them to safely transport a young child. Response to owner: I want to clarify that the complaint being closed as "unsubstantiated" does not change what occurred. That is exactly why I question whether the lack of documentation is designed to protect the children or protect the business. A four-year-old being found wandering a school campus unattended after transportation should have warranted formal documentation and immediate notification to the parent--not a casual comment later. Your response also suggests that young children benefit from "fewer transitions." Kiddie Academy offers transportation to young children. If your transportation procedures cannot safely accommodate a four-year-old, then that service should not be offered to children that age. Responsibility should not be shifted onto parents for utilizing a service your business provides. A licensing investigation resulting in no citation does not erase what happened or what was communicated to me by Kiddie Academy staff. Parents can read both sides and decide for themselves whether this is the level of supervision and accountability they are comfortable with for their child.

We agreed that my son would start right after his first birthday and I was very excited and hopeful that we would be a good fit. My son was born during a pandemic and has some anxiety being away from mom for too long because he's so used to being at home...but he generally does well. On his first day, he did relatively well and I got photos of him engaging with the other kids and napping. On his second day, after being there for an hour, I got a call to pick my son up because he was crying. The assistant said they checked him for fever and that he was fine but then went on to say that they just didn't think he was a good fit for the program. She then proceeded to say that my application was cancelled and wanted to know if I wanted my payment back in cash or money order. No plan to work with him to help him transition, no concern for if there was an underlying issue, no nothing. Just come get your baby and don't bring him back because he is crying. I'm just so disappointed, hurt and offended at the idea that a 12 month old baby gets kicked out of daycare on his second day for crying for an hr. Especially when Zerghon herself told me how other kids in the program had hard transitions and ended up working out over time! I mean, isn't that a typical process for babies? What makes my baby different? I can't help but think there is other motivating factors at play here. My baby fell asleep in the car while we were driving home by the way. He was crying because he was tired.
