This will be my last review on this complex. First off, I say again, the leasing staff are amazing and they're very helpful. They get a lot of grief but I truly think it's because the people who live here are either young just moving out or people want to be catered to. So I walk out to go to work this morning and see that all of our trash is still there. A little back story, this complex has ONE trash area and when Solamonte took over, they started up a valet service where the company comes and pick up our trash for us. The biggest issue was the "rules" placed on us and the company having Friday and Saturday off. Ok...let me throw in, the complex charges us 20.00 a month for this service (would have been nice if they asked us first) and you'll be charged whether you use the service or not. Now going back to this morning, the valet service I'm going to assume had Easter off. Which is fine IF they came on Friday or Saturday to collect trash or we were told they were going to have a 3 day weekend. Now every ones trash is sitting at their front door until 7pm tonight...I thought the valet service was a good concept but charging us 20.00 a month when I can just walk my trash to the bin (which I do more times than not still) is ridiculous. Another issue here....I can understand the tow policy if you're taking up open spaces for stored cars or what not which makes parking hard for people with two cars or their guest coming over. But to tow cars that are in carports, really ?? I saw it done a few times and I'll tell you this, even if I have a flat tire that needs to be fixed, if it's sitting in my carport (the thing attached to my apartment in which I pay rent monthly) that shouldn't be towed. Open parking is one thing but covered parking should be a whole different story if it's your carport. I'm assuming they do the towing to keep the complex looking "pretty" but yet wont do anything about the MULTIPLE rats running around here (and going back to all the trash out today may cause a problem). So Solamonte, how about instead of towing tenants or their friends cars you focus on getting rid of the huge rat issue you guys have. You guys are charging people over 2000.00 worth of rent but you want us all to live with rats as long as the parking lot looks good, really ?? And speaking of rent, again, you guys charge this great amount of money for rent but yet, cars are being broken into, security gates aren't working, the front gate you can just walk right into w/o putting in the code (been like that for over a month now), the back gate to the train is ALWAYS broken and it makes me go back to my last post, WHERE IS YOUR MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR ???!!! The guy is STILL not getting on top of these things for his guys to handle and now this is truly becoming tedious. Again, appreciate the food truck, the brunches (thank you Ashia, Barbara and Adam for being very helpful and polite this past weekend. Not sure what Sheena was doing because she was a bit stand off-ish and somewhat rude-but we all have bad days I guess), the free cupcakes...that's great. But I rather have a SECURE, CLEAN, RAT FREE place to live before all that. Also, the renovations that were supposed to start last year and never happened. Not sure when you guys plan on doing it but a little bit of advice, wait until after summer and you get rid of the rats. I say this because 1) People are going to want to use the gym and the pool area over the summer and it'd be silly to start renovations then. 2) until you get rid of the rats, your RENOVATIONS is going to send them in different directions and the areas that aren't rat infested, will become one mighty quickly. These things should be done during the winter/fall season but who knows what's holding it up. It'll look like you guys are just trying to do a money grab and get as many people in the complex as possible. If that's the case, I'll make it a point to post every time I see a rat and where I see it while I'm here. When my lease is up, I plan on getting out. Again, I saw they were making some positive changes when they first came in but it appears the cracks are starting to show and though they may throw us a few scraps to appease us (food trucks), the problems that exist doesn't look as it's getting resolved anytime soon. But yet, rent is still going up....nothing the office staff can do about it, this is squarely on the shoulders of Solamonte to give that office staff whatever they need to get this place up and going for the rent they want you to pay. So until things are fixed, stay away from renting here OH and FYI to you yelpers, dig deep into the reviews to find the REAL reviews on the property read more

I am writing this review to warn potential renters about my recent experience! Despite a promising first impression, our application process was marred by unprofessionalism, lack of transparency, and what seemed like a scam. I strongly advise against renting from this complex and suggest you explore other options. Initially, we were impressed by the friendly and helpful leasing agent who showed us around the property. She highlighted an apartment with a separate entrance that she believed would be perfect for us. We decided to apply without viewing the apartment, relying on her word. Unfortunately, the apartment was never available, and we were led on a wild goose chase. The leasing agent pressure-tactically informed us that the apartment was "super popular" and that we had to apply quickly to avoid losing the opportunity. We complied, and our application was approved. To our surprise, we were then asked to visit the office within 24 hours with our Social Security number (SSN) card. This seemed like an unnecessary and intrusive request, especially since we had provided multiple documents showing our SSN, even in person. When I tried to reach out to the management company, WNG, to inquire about the SSN requirement, I was met with indifference and a lack of communication. It felt like a scam, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that our personal information was being exploited and the leasing agent just wanted to be compensated for the application (they receive a bonus) for apartments that are not available. In conclusion, my experience with Solamonte was a complete disappointment. The lack of professionalism, transparency, and respect for tenants' privacy is unacceptable. I would not recommend this complex to anyone, and I advise you to explore other options! Note: I have also reported this incident to the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint with the state's Attorney General's office to ensure that no other tenants fall victim to this unethical practice. Please do so as well (if applicable). I am also happy to cooperate in a lawsuit. read more

TLDR Version: Apartments are great, staff is friendly, quick maintenance response, dog friendly. Love living here. I've lived at Solamonte for almost 5 months now and have no major complaints. We were warned that they would be going under a major remodel before we moved in so we haven't been able to use any amenities yet. Pros: - Excellent Staff: Friendly, Answer e-mails generally within 24 hours, or I can walk in during business hours to the leasing office. - Quiet Area: Neighbors are usually pretty quiet. Kids do run around on occasion. -Maintenance Requests are easy to submit and responded to quickly: You can submit a request online easily and is fixed within a day or two. -Animal friendly: I had a hard time finding a place that would allow me to have my Husky and Solamonte doesn't restrict Huskies. -W/D Hookup IN Unit: Speaks for itself. -Nice area: Nice backdrop of mountain when going for walks or you can get an apartment with a view ( additional cost to rent ). -Valet trash pickup: Just put trash outside your door at designated times and someone picks it up ( added to rent costs ). -Security Patrol: Patrol at night and it's a gated community, although the gate is easy to get through if you follow someone in. Cons: Construction: Was quoted for a 2 months time table period and we're on month 3. Been here almost 5 months without having been able to use amenities. Package pickup: Any mail delivered goes to leasing office so you have to make it to the leasing office before they close to get packages delivered BUT the remodel is supposed to provide us with our own package holding boxes so we won't have to do this anymore. Dog Poop: A lot of pet owners are lazy and don't pick up their dogs poop, the staff have sent out e-mails and letters about it to try and help promote poo pickup. At least there are sprinklers everywhere to help with clearing up dog pee. Price: Is a little steep but better than most places I compared. read more

Mr. Carlos is Maintenance!!!! He is amazing!!!! We had a problem with our air conditioner relay, he came and fixed it while we weren't home, the next day the cover on the relay was falling because the screws had come loose. When I saw Carlos on the grounds I told him, he made sure he came by that same day before he left for the evening to fix the cover and make sure it was secure. Carlos is always so helpful and always has a smile on his face. Whenever we see him he always asks if everything is OK and if we need anything. The office staff are also incredible!!They are all so nice, friendly and helpful with any questions or anything we need. We love all of the upgrades and remodeling they have done as well as when they bring in the outside food vendors. If I had any complaints at all it would be the parking. There is not enough free parking. It seems like there are people here who have multiple cars and they take up spots close to buildings occupy those spots for several days and even some I have seen that have a garage but use it for storage and take up spots. I always feel like I have to rush home to get a decent spot close enough to our building so that I don't have to hike to our building. Another complaint would be the increase in rent every year. We have lived here almost 4 years and our rent has increased every time and its not a small increase either. The rental prices these days are outrageous!! Which is why we will more than likely be moving when our lease is up because we feel we pay too much. read more

My husband and I have lived here for a year and it's been nothing but AMAZING! This was our very first apartment and upon searching Barbara in the office helped us and she made everything so easy! She made our first visit feel like it was our home and not a visit. The apartments are very quiet and I feel very safe here. Our one bedroom apartment is very spacey. We lived in a classic and everything is new and beautiful. Another plus is having you trash picked up almost every night and not having to take it out to the dumpster. Unfortunately my husband and I are moving out of these apartments but we are REALLY GOING TO MISS IT HERE! Thank you to the whole office team, they are VERY PROFESSIONAL and VERY friendly and know what they are doing. We had a work order put in for our air conditioner and our shower and it was all done in one day! The maintenance team is always top notch and respond right away. To those who complain about the renovation on their amenities, I'm grateful that they are putting their time in creating a more family friendly atmosphere as they are building an outdoor movie theatre, dog park, and MORE! Thank you for making our stay nothing less than Amazing! We will miss you guys and will be back read more

LEMON COMPLEX!!!! Might look nice but it's horrible-worst place I've ever lived! The office never answers the phone so if you need to speak to someone you always have to walk in, in order to do so. Amenities such as the gym and pool have just become available in January 2019-nothing was open since around March of 2018, thats almost a whole year of paying for amenities that the residents were not getting and of course rent was not pro rated and they expect for you to pay your rent on time. All summer of 2018 while kids were out of school they couldn't even go swimming because of these lemon apartments THE WEBSITE IS A LIE SAYING "PLAYGROUND" AS AN AMENITY BUT THERE IS NO PLAYGROUND FOR THE KIDS HERE SO DON'T FALL FOR IT-BUT THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO HAVE A "DOG PARK" To say the least it is the worst place that I've ever lived at and management really sucks! I cannot wait to move and wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here-especially if you have kids who like to play @ playgrounds and they're advertising a playground when there is not one. SMH just horrible LIARS read more

It's a been a month and so far, I enjoy living here. The community is pretty quiet. Since I saw so many young people, I thought there were gonna be a lot of parties and commotion but it's not like that at all. Mostly young couples/ families, and older single people. The staff made it relatively easy to apply, and get moved in. The pool is still under construction as well as the gym, so I haven't gotten to use it yet. That's a bummer, but it looks like it's going to be so nice! can't wait! I love how they have a "valet" trash service. You leave your bags inside the trash bin they provide you and they come pick it up! amazing. The apartment is gorgeous and modern and close by to literally EVERYTHING. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the island in the kitchen, as well as my big bathtub! Only criticism I would say, is if you don't have a lot of stuff to store, I would suggest getting a carport vs a garage. The garages here are a joke. They are tiny, and it's super hard to fit your car in there without scraping it a little. read more

I have lived at this property for just over two years now, so I have experienced living here while it was owned by the previous company Amli, and now with the new company Solamonte. And all I can say is Wow! What a difference it has been since Solamonte took over. I can honestly say that all aspects of this property have improved immensely starting with the staff. From the community manager Britni who has been an absolute pleasure to deal with in regards to the interactions I have had with her, to their entire leasing and maintenance staff who have responded to any needs or concerns that I've had with great attitudes and in a timely manner that has actually blown me away. They handle things right then and there. The customer service and all services they offer are second to none which makes it very nice to live at a property that is clean, professional, and friendly. I am extremely satisfied with everything Solamonte has brought to my apartment complex that I call home. read more

The leasing staff, Adam, Aisha, Barbara, et al., are helpful and very friendly. They are good with following up and always ready to help work out any issues. Irvin and Carlos on the maintenance staff are excellent! I have had a few maintenance issues in the last year and they each have done their best to ensure the issues are resolved as quickly, conveniently, and thoroughly as possible. Carlos worked on an AC issue. He was very responsive and showed good followed up. I appreciate how seriously he took the issue given the triple digit temps we were experiencing. Irvin has worked on the last few issues I've had--one ceiling fan replacement and a clogged shower drain. I appreciated the effort he went through to resolve both issues. I appreciate their attentiveness and professionalism. They are also very friendly often waving or greeting you as you see them around the property. read more

I like my apartment and I've lived here since 2013 but I need to vent. I don't think it would change the outcome but I feel very very frustrated. I am frustrated with the current amenity renovations. Haven't had access to them for months. It's upsetting watching this crew take what seems for ever. We haven't had access since April. I work a very busy job and having the gym on the premises and available 24hrs was the main reason I chose this property due to health reasons. Since the closure my health has suffered. I've made arrangements to join a gym off the premises but the time and gas depend is inconvenient. Summer is almost over and there is no access to the pool and worst no access to the gym. Just want to know why it's taking so long. Makes no sense. My father worked in construction and the process for building brand new homes never took this long. Ughhhhh. read more

I've been at Empire Lakes apartment for the past 4 years and have had a good experience. The community is quiet for the most part. With the recent sell of the property and change to Solamonte I have really seen some fast changes and improvements around here. I must say I am very pleased. The trash on the grounds is finally getting picked up, Valet Waste is fantastic and was much needed for years here! I even see guys walking around now cleaning light posts that had not been touch in years and picking up trash. The majority of Staff stayed with the new company so that's a huge plus! It's nice to see the same friendly faces. I have always had a pleasant experience with all of them. I am really excited to see what new changes we will see with the new management company! All thumbs up from me. read more

I am a new tenant at Solamonte Apartments and I am very pleased with my choice. The staff at the front office, especially Carina, have been absolutely professional, making my move-in process very smooth. They also have been most courteous whenever I have needed anything. The apartment is spacious and really nice and most importantly, clean. The few, very minor things that needed fixing, were handled promptly by their maintenance lead, Carlos Beltran. Carlos was friendly, approachable, and did what needed to be done quickly and efficiently. As I mentioned earlier, I am very pleased with my choice, its location and access to freeways are a big plus, the atmosphere among tenants is respectful and considerate, but most importantly, the staff has made the biggest difference for me. read more

I had an amazing experience applying for my new apartment, and I couldn't be happier with how everything went. My agent, Myriam Gonzales, was absolutely the best throughout the entire process. From the very first showing to the final walk-through, she was professional, kind, and incredibly helpful. She made everything feel easy and stress-free by explaining each step clearly and making sure we understood all the details. What really stood out was her communication--she followed up when needed and was always available to answer any questions. Her sweet and supportive approach made the whole experience even better. I'm so grateful for her help and highly recommend working with Myriam if you're looking for a smooth and positive leasing experience! read more

My experience so far has been great! The office staff are always super friendly and helpful. I've been living here for three months and have no complaints at all, I love this community and am considering upgrading my apartment to a bigger layout once my lease is up. Maintenance-Carlos in particular is always on top of your maintenance requests, he's a super nice guy, has so much energy, and a great attitude! I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of the other maintenance staff, but I'm sure they are just as friendly. This place definitely has everything you're looking for, from nice laminate flooring, to stainless steel appliances, and for what I would say is reasonable pricing for Rancho. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

This place just gets worse Every Day! DONT TRUST THE POSITIVE REVIEWS. The biggest problem the Solomonte Apartments is the management staff. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. The worst of the bunch is Asia, as soon as you sign your lease she turns on you and appears to have no desire to help you. The ground are still terrible the only place on the property that are maintained is around the leasing office. The rest of the property has dead brown grass and bushes that are almost never trimmed. I contently feel unsafe at this property due to the low class people they lease to and i have never seen a courtesy patrol car. I have to deal with the daily smell of marijuana. This place is a absolute joke. DO NOT MOVE HERE read more

I want to live near work. What caught my eye about Solamonte is the Landscaping on the outside and location. I went in to inquire and I was immediately greeted by The staff member Adam. He rolled out the red carpet for my My Mom my Daughter and I. He was very detailed and clear about the Property and took us on an amazing Tour! I have never receive customer service at its finest until I moved here. I have been here since July and I Know that I Truly made a good decision to cal this my home. I am very pleased and anytime I need talk to Adam he is always a consistent person to rely on. I am very glad Solamonte has Adam for a staff member and because of his expertise and mannerism I have chosen Solamonte as our home! Kudos Adam!! read more

My husband, 2 boys and I have lived at Solomante for almost 4 years and we love it. The office staff is super helpful, friendly, warm, and professional. I have to give a HUGE shout out to Carlos in maintenance, He always has a smile on his face, he is personable, friendly and professional too. If he see's us around the property he waves and smiles and he also will give my kids high fives. My boys love him! He always completes the maintenance request quickly yet professionally. He always checks back with us to make sure whatever he fixed is still working and that we don't need anything else. He is super nice and we just love seeing him around the property. It is a great community and I would recommend it to anyone. read more

Carlos has completed several service requests in my apartment home and he has brought positive energy and enthusiasm to the tasks at hand. I appreciate his advance calls prior to service and his follow up calls when necessary. I have truly appreciated the entire team here at Solamonte. Barbara strove diligently to make relocating from Texas a seamless transition and was successful. Kudos to Britni and her entire team (leasing and maintenance) for a job well done. She has a solid team across the board from my experiences. Its clear that she and the Maintenance Manager take pride in the job they do. I say that speaking from over 20 years of Community Management experience. Quite pleased to be here so far! read more

I called in today to Solamonte main office to report a leak in the guest bathroom. Mr. Carlos Beltran ( maintenance man) promptly arrived to my apt. He quickly assessed the situation, left to get supplies and fixed the problem. I have lived at other apt developments and dealt with many maintenance service men, but I must take the time to celebrate the professionalism, kindness and efficiency of Mr. Beltran. In the one year I have been residing at Solamonte, I always see Mr. Beltran running around and getting work done. Im happy I got him today and he was able to resolve the issue. He js a hard working man. Keep up the great work Mr. Beltran. read more
