We decided to have a 60th birthday celebration at Rusty Rooster's Ice House b/c we frequently stop in when we are in town b/c of the service and great atmosphere. We made the right choice. Owners, Issabelle and Joe went above and beyond accommodating our request. Their staff were pleasant and friendly and the prices were great. We had food catered however they always have local food trucks to accommodate the late night hunger. If you're in town you MUST stop by. They always have the games on their TV's for football, baseball or basketball. One thing I have to say about Issabelle and Joe, is they are BIG on giving back to their community and I support that all day everyday! Thank you Rusty Rooster, until next time!

Weekends that I know of has a DJ after 11pm but he places what the manager wants not what the customers want. The people don't dance here unless its the cha cha slide then they go right back to drinking even with dancing space. There is no food served here. Cops are on location during the evening to check IDs. I come because its local and you can get out of the house without heading to Corpus but its not the ideal spot for going out if you have a choice.

She took extra care of us and made sure we did not have empty drinks. The food looked very good. Tasted not five star but in between 3 1/2 and 4 star. Overall awesome atmosphere everybody looks like they are having a lot of fun and enjoying each other's company laughing conversing. The sign out front was not visible at night. I used the GPS to figure out where the place was. Parking was on the street and we parked within 50 feet of the front door. It was Very dark getting from the car to the front door. Reminded me of old fashioned diner food. I did like their sports memorabilia on the wall. My suggestion to management: light up the sign outside at night, season the food and speed up the service.
