Even after your case is settled, don't start spending that money. And even though they keep just short of HALF the money you've been awarded by the court-Sokolove will hold on to your money month after month with one excuse then another meanwhile gathering interest on that award money. They will have you redo paperwork you sent in months ago. It's been months since I was told it was being sent to 'finance' to cut my check. But now I have to have them send me a release to sign. I already sent it months ago. But OK, they did say they would win your case. But they did not say they would actually give you the money. Good luck on your case. read more

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Systemic Ableism, Flawed Intake Protocols, and Access-to-Justice Barriers Reference Number: 05072021 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally document a profound institutional failure and a severe systemic barrier to legal representation for individuals living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). When our system initially sought your counsel, we did so with genuine hope--believing that legal professionals would listen, examine the facts objectively, and provide the advocacy we desperately needed. Instead, that hope was met with a consultation process that entirely derailed our core legal issue. Rather than addressing the specific matter at hand, your intake representative repeatedly dragged the conversation into irrelevant medical and historical events from the 1990s. Compounding this incompetence, your office then issued a statute of limitations avoidance document addressing a completely wrong, fabricated problem of your own making. When we called back to correct this administrative failure and refocus the consultation on the actual matter, your staff pivoted immediately to hostility and punitive control. Because structural dissociation and trauma can manifest through heightened stress or emotional distress under duress, your staff weaponized standard compliance tactics: demanding that we "calm down," policing our tone, and refusing to accommodate how mental health conditions actually present. Let this be entirely clear: lawyers and legal entities are actively prohibiting individuals with mental health conditions from obtaining the justice they deserve through sheer operational ignorance, incompetence, and hostility. When a prospective client attempts to correct a misdirected legal strategy, they should not be subjected to institutional gaslighting and punitive rejection. We will ensure that everyone knows how legal providers gatekeep justice, mishandle intakes, and abandon vulnerable disabled individuals when accountability is required. read more

Unless you are at death's door they will not consider a claim., or they may wait till you're dead, then consider to file a claim for your family. They never asked about my illness or the doctors I see. They never even mentioned wanting to speak with my medical team. Yet they advertise they'll help you if you've been exposed to asbestos. Do yourself a favor and look for a lawyer that will help you. read more

I am still in the intake stage and have yet to reach out to the law firm that is going to hopefully represent me, but the intake process was great. I was able to speak with a very kind intake specialist that handled my information with care. I am on my way to scheduling my initial consultation with the law firm. Hopefully I can get justice for my loved one and come back here to report the good news that I won my case, and hopefully won't have to lose money in any way possible. read more

Working with two different gentlemen on the team was a great experience. They were professional, patient, and explained the process. I appreciated the assistance in completing forms electronically, and the quick responses to my questions. They were very cordial and I am confident that as the legal process continues to become more in depth, they will continue to provide the highest standard of legal care for my case. read more

Don't bother calling this law firm - they simply farm you out to unprofessional law firms - my case # 04792407 was sent to freedland Harwin - spoke to Dio Lora - beyond unprofessional - Sokolove should be embarrassed for associating with this law firm read more

I filled out their online intake form and received a voice mail message the following morning. When I tried to return the call, the representative who answered the phone said she did not know anyone by the name that had been left for me to contact. When that same representative asked what it was about and I mentioned a famous class action lawsuit, she had no idea what I was referencing. Next, I tried their "live" chat with someone named Ed who, regardless of my questions repeated the same sentence every time "...please give me your telephone number/email address and I'll have someone get back to you." Not very confidence-inspiring! I'm going elsewhere for legal help. read more

After receiving a referral from another lawyer, I contacted them. They refused to speak with me regarding the details surrounding my case. They simply sent an email stating the next day stating they weren't interested. This law firm is garbage. read more

Very bad experience they forwarded my claim without knowledge of doing to so the environmental litigation group. Didn't think twice about it until I received the worst service of my life. The group they forwarded me to. Lost things, found them and then told me everything was received may and then this week in June. I called to see how the lawsuit was going. They said you forgot a packet sent to you in feburary. We are in June. Only reason I knew is because I called. Forwarded my claim to a second rep in the environmental litigation group. Then the lady called me after leaving two messages. Doesn't know what going on unprepared and unprofessional. Then I'm like do you have the packet are you sending us a new one? I don't know o just received the case. Okay but you called me could have researched before hand. I said not my problem and not looking for excuses looking for answers and stated my father died recently and continues to fight with me back and forth and I said we are just looking to know what we need to do. She then told me she's transferring the case to a third rep. Day after I called left a message, nothing called this morning day after that was told the packet was sent Feb 9th and they are dropping my case. No reasoning why. I had to call for them to tell me that. I did send a email to the old rep to show the frustration and I'm sure most could understand our frustration. Called Sokolove and they wanted to send a email to them the environmental litigation group to reconsider me. I said no and I'm calling to let you know the experience we had. I said just make sure all evidence is sent back to us. The amount of work we did. Countless hours getting the medical records getting stuff signed and just know you are better off not using Sokolove they forward your claim for asbestos to a group that doesn't care about you or what happened to you. Becareful people. Do not use these people. do not use these people. such a bad representation of you and your family. read more

Exceedingly poor customer service. Agent hung up on me without reason. Am I supposed to assume that they weren't interested in a Camp Lejeune case even though they advertise all afternoon on television? Seems like false advertising to me. Don't bother. read more

Called today to get information for a family member. In-take was extremely rude. Said he could not continue without getting private information which I was not going to provide. Seemed like if you gave the info that it would be used to haunt you or contact you without agreement and that was not going to happen if I could help it. BTW, I spoke to two other attorneys at two highly ranked law firms, both spoke to me, told me there was a case very rough estimate of what likely settlement could be ( range). They also told me their fees and gave me other information. This law firm had a link for an American Cancer community site where it said click here for more info and I got this law site ( rather than info). So I was wary going in, for good reason IMO. I got a bad vibe. Won't be using them. Got a good impression from the other two law firms I spoke to. Glad to see based on reviews that my gut seems to be on target. read more

Sokolove Law TV Commercials. Big SCAM. They clearly wasted several months of my time and eventually sent me a coupon discount card for % off perscription medication. Not before saying they had someone to REFER me to months LATER. , CVS laughed at their discount card and said it would make my medicine much more expensive than I was already paying. Needless to say, DO NOT CALL THEM OR GO THROUGH THEM FOR SHORT TERM / LONG TERM DISABILITY CLAIMS. read more
