There was never any real explanation or update, even though adjusters usually have 30 to 60 days to respond--not 18 months I understand they're waiting on my treatment, but if it's care I might need long-term because of the accident, that shouldn't delay the process indefinitely. It's been almost 3 years, and I haven't heard anything about a settlement--not even a number. It also feels that for the 40% fee they charge they take their time, only stay on top of big cases--like wrongful death or medical malpractice--because those bring higher payouts which I get and completely understand, but every case deserves the same attention and urgency. I have been greatly disillusioned by Morgan & Morgan especially when they say they like to defend the little guy. I had a very traumatic accident with the MBTA when I got stuck in electronic gate. When the gate opens I was propelled head first into a cement wall. I was taken to the emergency room by ambulance with head face and bodily injuries. Morgan & Morgan at first accepted my case then few days later they rejected it. Would not say why. Other lawyers also refused saying the MBTA was too hard to be sued it takes too long and there are limits on judgments. 8 months later I had to take a small settlement of $1,000 by the MBTA. DO NOT LET THEM TAKE YOUR CASE. The ads are misleading and they sub out the cases to other attorneys. I regret letting them have our case. Shabnam, the "Case Manager", was worse than incompetent. She was very attentive before we signed on to the firm, but as soon as she knew they had the case, she was impossible to get in touch with. She made excuses that she has laryngitis and couldn't call for our scheduled call and when she rescheduled it she sent an email the day of our call and said she was out of the office sick. That was just one example of the excuses she gave us for not calling. Every single time I called over the 18 months that we were dealing with her, she never answered the call. I would leave multiple voicemails without a call back. The case was finally settled after 18 months and we received less that what the insurance adjuster offer us before I decided to go with Morgan & Morgan. When reaching out to her she stated they bills were already paid by them then when contacting the providers they stated they reached out multiple times to the firm with no payment and NO REPLY. our claim was settled with no notice that we were to be responsible for the med bills since they had not been paid but once settled they stated they cannot do anything. of course because they were already paid their 8k for doing absolutely nothing but having the name associated; we could have easily represented ourselves if this was going to be the outcome. I can't get a return call from the law firm and they are not even aware until recently an attorney filed a case in court and is pending hearings and in active litigation because the attorney assigned left the firm. The attorney who filed the case was also suspended to practice law in California and was still practicing law without a license. It's been over a year and I still haven't settled my case (and it was a straight forward case. I was seen at the doctor for two months and that was that). My case manager changed 4 times. They lost my paperwork. My lawyer changed 3 times. They don't reply to messages on the app (at all...like totally ignore my messages) and my case manager doesn't answer calls or respond to texts. My lawyer has been a *tiny* bit more responsive but the whole thing has been frustrating to say the least. I just want my case settled. I would not recommend hiring them. read more

They prey on slip and fall victims. You sign the contract, and they will drop your case within a year. GUESS what they do? They keep their lien on your case. Their harmful tactics, pressure, and unethical practices caused my 70-year-old mom to have an attack and go to the emergency room. The attorney or case manager made and accepted a settlement offer without discussing this with my mom. Today, Morgan & Morgan quit because what they did is illegal.
