If you are in need of guidance during a rough time in your life, look no further than Eric. I was…read moreat absolute rock bottom when I finally decided to reach out for help. I found Eric after doing a thorough search of all psychologists in there. I chose to go to him because his rates were very affordable, he had a great educational background, and his compassion radiated from his writings. Eric helped guide me through the worst experience of my life. I had lost my job, my significant other, and my home all in the span of a few weeks. Eric helped me better understand the feelings that I was experiencing. Within 5 months of seeing Eric, everything in my life turned around for the better. I could not have done it without him. I recommend that everyone goes and sees Eric if they're going through a tough time. Jim

My recent experience was extremely similar to the other 1-star review…read more I too was subjected to a series of inappropriate questions (by the receptionist). Sadly, the first question asked was "Do you have insurance"... not "What is your name", "How can we help you", etc. The receptionist then began berating me with dozens of disturbing questions including: "Do you have a gun permit" and "Do you own firearms". I told the receptionist that I was not comfortable answering those two questions and she immediately cut me off, proceeded to tell me that 'Todd' would review my answers and return my call if he accepts me as a patient. As expected, 'Todd' never returned my call and I was denied. I can only assume 'Todd' does not accept patients who may own firearms. This is just another example of why men do put much faith in counseling. If you happen to support the second amendment and/or own a firearm, do not try to obtain this 'open minded' therapist; he is a biased coward who should probably get some therapy himself.

Todd counseled us separately. He referred her to excellent treatment facilities. He taught me to use healthy coping strategies, how to deal with my family and resolve issues, how to deal with the death of my mother, job stress, improve relationships, and I am a better person because of Todd Tuozzoli. He listens, cares, knows the right questions to ask, talks like a real person, and offers common sense, down to earth advice. He is very easy to share your deepest feelings with. I trusted him with my daughter and I trusted him with my emotional health. I worked with professional counselors and therapists. I recommended Todd over any other mental and emotional health specialist I have ever known.

Patrice had come to my house prior to delivery for a consultation and immediately made me feel at…read moreease. I knew I wanted to breastfeed, but with a support system telling you that it was "too hard" or "you'll have to supplement" I felt extremely discouraged. Patrice put all those fears to ease with her support. I delivered at Waterbury Hospital, and Patrice again was amazing. After a day of struggles with latching and feedings, I was so discouraged and ready to quit when Patrice walked in. She validated my fears, but also gave me tips to overcome them. With Oliver not latching, she taught me hand expression and how to use a syringe to continue to feed him. I was able to pump to keep up a supply that night until he tried latching again and was perfectly set. I know if Patrice had not come in that night to help me, I would not be breastfeeding today. She is an amazing woman that went out of her way to check in with me after my discharge. I am so thankful that I had her in my corner!
