During our phone conversation regarding a missing prescription--medication that is vital to my daily health--Jarice's conduct was entirely unacceptable. When I explained that the pharmacy had not received the order, she began yelling at me, accusing me of "not listening to her". Throughout the remainder of the call, she maintained a condescending and belittling tone. Most egregiously, when I asked for her name to document the interaction, she immediately hung up on me. This level of hostility and lack of empathy is dangerous in a healthcare setting, particularly when a patient is attempting to manage essential prescriptions. This behavior falls well below professional standards.

When we lived in Fairfield, she helped my wife and I get to the root of our feelings before we married, and helped pave the way to us spending our lives together. We now each talk about how much clarity we have on the issue and can finally understand each other's position on it as well. Dana took the time to teach us how to effectively listen and empathize with each other during these times of conflict. When we arrive, we were told of this amount and that we have to pay up front and before we could see the doctor. My daughter was confused and upset and when she looked at me, I asked the receptionist what she had said to her. When I heard it, I said, well, we can't afford this, and ask why no one had informed us of this prior. The receptionist wasn't very "warm" or understanding, just cold, as if she did expect us black folks to be able to afford their services in the first place. They didn't offer any other options, no payment plans, and had no compassion so I said we will have to re-schedule and we left. Why did they just send me a $150 bill for a missed appointment. Then, when I called the office, instead of admitting that they are in the wrong, they want to tell you that you are screaming at them. they want to note the account. I think we dodged a bullet. if we had been informed properly we could have made a better decision on whether or not we wanted to pursue these services or not. this is the exact reason as to why people don't want to go to the doctor's office anymore.
