I was visiting Texas and, since I wasn't near my usual spot, I decided to try this place. The shop looked clean on the inside, but the initial experience made me want to leave immediately. There were two staff members sitting there with no customers in their chairs. When I walked in and asked where I should sit, they both looked at me, looked at each other, and started speaking in a language I didn't understand. It felt like they couldn't decide who was going to take the customer. They finally told me to wait. After about five minutes, I said I was going to leave to get payment, and one woman quickly responded, "Oh, don't worry about that until you pay," and then told me to sit in her chair. It was an unnecessarily awkward start, especially since the shop was empty. The woman who ultimately did my eyebrows was super nice, but unfortunately, she totally messed up the shape. When I looked in the mirror, she immediately blamed the unevenness on a scar I have. She then patted herself on the back by saying, "But I did a great job. I bet you were scared, right?" Honestly, the staff was amazing at customer service (once they figured out who was working with me), but they were not good at shaping eyebrows. I had to wait for my eyebrows to grow in just to fix the mistake. This just wasn't the vibe for me, and I won't be returning. read more

We live in Aubrey which is pretty far from everything so my husband has insisted I find a place closer to home. My usual place is $5 in Frisco and with tip it's around $10. This spot is $12 for threading + whatever tip you'd like to leave. The first time I went was a 10/10 quick and painless experience. The second time I went the girl did a great job in terms of shape but she really hurt me. I realize this isn't a pain free experience but I have bumps on the right and left side underneath my eyebrows where I think she may have just been pulling at skin. Hoping this is a one time occurrence. read more

I'm gonna give two stars because I came before and they left me looking good but this last time Alpa did my eyebrows and took too much off the start of my right eyebrow. It looks weird with too much space between my eyebrows now the right one looks slanted. I legitimately want to cry after seeing my eyebrow and how much she took off... she said she was just following the micro blading but I can't believe that because nah other times I've been threaded they don't do me like that. This was a legitimate reason to yell at her or throw hands but I decided that it wasn't worth goin to jail and by the grace of god I left there in peace thank you Jesus She also left me with a shit ton of eyebrow hairs all over my face at the end of the service . I've been going to this place for years and recently it's turned to crap. The service is horrible, the workers don't care, there are fruit flies all over, place is dirty. My lip has been swollen for over an hour and inflamed/itchy and definitely breaking out. It is unhygienic. They are so rude to you because there's no one else in the store to supervise or clients to see real service. Absolute no class, and they definitely reuse the waxing stick more than once, and threading wire. She used the wire on the client before me and I had to ask her to use a new one. read more

I went to go get my eyebrows threaded, and getting your eyebrows threaded is never fun. It's painful and hurts... and I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Well once the lady finished my eyebrows she tells me to not get my eyebrows threaded again because I was "too sensitive". I understand the need to be fast, but there's a difference between being fast and being careless. I am extremely unhappy with how my eyebrows came out. I grew them out as they were overdone last time, and I communicated that before and she completely ignored what I said and took off way more than I wanted, but left small fine hairs still further down on my eyelid. My eyebrows have a natural arch & shape and she made them straight. I communicated with the stylist my disapproval and she just said "okay." This location is definitely my favorite. Diwsa is the best! The other artists are fantastic also, but my coworkers and I all come here specifically for him. When I come here, it's not until a little over a month that I have to come back for a touch up, my eyebrows are always done so well. The waiting area is always super clean and decorated with so much style. I usually come in on my lunch breaks and I am usually out within 15-20 minutes.
