Today I was at SOI in Lewisville. I was waiting for the sweet girl Sanjeena to do my brows. There was a young Latino woman there with 3 kids. She said to Sanjeena that she had tried to do her brow and messed it up and simply wanted them to match. After Sanjeena finished the woman stood up and looked in the mirror and the theatrics began. The woman started crying and yelling that Sanjeena had "RUINED MY EYEBROWS! THEY LOOK RIDICULOUS!" It was clear, as an onlooker, that the woman simply didn't want to pay. She probably didn't have the $10 in her bank account. Sanjeena reacted calmly and professionally. I was next, and Sanjeena did a great job on my eyebrows. She's my eyebrow homegurl. Absolutely terrible. I went because I was in a hurry and I couldn't go to my normal eyebrow place, but oh my goodness when I tell you the person who did my eyebrows absolutely messed them up completely. They're so hideous so ugly so uneven and took out parts of my actually eyebrow hair I need. I am very upset, and just want a refund. Literally my 8 yr old niece could've done them better, and that's how bad they looked. Do not come here unless you want your eyebrows fucked up. read more

I just made a yelp only to give this place a review.. only decided to try this place because my brow lady wasn't available... anyway, never cheat on your brow lady with another brow lady. My eyebrows were left pencil thin... they are just ugly to look at, I have to put on 'more' brow makeup than usual to make them even and 'thick'... it will take me a while to grow them out. Me and my 2 daughters have been coming here for years. It's close to the house and they did an ok job. Never friendly but, provided a service. I went in this last Thursday around 2:45 PM when I walked in the door I heard a yell from the back who is it? I said I'm here for my brows without coming out she said check in. I'm taking lunch so I signed in and sat down. I waited about 10-15 minutes and she walked out. Just as I was about to leave. She said, what would you like didn't bother to look at computer which asks for what services I wanted. She never apologized for the wait nothing. I said, eyebrows threaded and tinted. She proceeded to thread my eyebrows, no problem. Another silly but very gross and annoying saying she had long, fuzzy hair and each time she would lean in to do a brow. It was all over my face which was disgusting. It should definitely be pulled back when treating patrons. After the threading she then put the tent on my eyebrows and went back to her lunch. I know this because I heard the microwave and saw her sitting at a table on her phone. Another customer came in and she yelled from the back again. The lady stood there five minutes or so and then the lady came to the front and took care of her. At this point thr tint has been on my eyes about 15 minutes and it's stinging really bad. I'm thinking as soon as she takes care of her, she will take it off of me. I've been here about 30 minutes at this point. After she helped the other customer, she went back to the kitchen area or to the back, and I glanced at the back and could see her on her phone. I was enraged at this point because I had been sitting so long and my eyebrows were literally on fire stinging because they had been on my skin for about 25 to 30 minutes now. I've had this service enough times to know that five minutes is typically 5 to 7 the max that it should be on your skin. I yelled out could you please come remove this it is burning my skin she got up and said oh I've been watching you whatever that meant. I said to her I need this off now. It is really burning my face. I've never had tint on this long before she took the tint off showed me it looked OK at a glance but very red and on fire. She put alcohol on it to clean and it immediately felt like it was on fire! She then says it burns? I said that's what I've been telling you. She started blowing on my face. Gross!! I was so mad I had to get out of there. I checked out paid over $55 and by the time I got into the car I realized I had been at this facility for almost an hour. Mind you besides the lady that walked in for a quick purchase of powder I was the only customer there. I do believe she was trying to make a point that she was taking lunch and I was going to wait. Now here we are the very next day and I have a holiday party. My eyebrows are just about gone. They are completely fried down to the skin they're on fire their red my skin is irritated, and I am very angry. I spent all this money, and she deliberately made me sit with that on my face with no one in the facility. This is unacceptable and excusable, and now I am stuck with zero eyebrows. They are literally singed down to the skin with skin irritation to the point that I may have to see a doctor they are so bad! This is completely unacceptable unprofessional she was rude. She did not apologize and I will never nor my two daughters, who have spent a lot of money over the past several years, since they opened, will ever set foot in this facility again it is very discouraging and disheartening that someone would treat a paying customer this way just so they could have their lunch, which there are no lunch hours posted on the door. The pics below are 4 days later still red not as much but still burn and the color isn't hair it's dye. On top of it all they weren't the same or even close to even. Just beware they don't care about customers only money. There was no reason I should have waited while she ate lunch period! Very disappointed and horrible customer service. I didn't bother calling them because they are rude and don't care. I doubt they will care about this reviews but, I wanted to warn others to speak up sooner. I'm not sure the lady's name that just did my eyebrows but she left them incredibly THIN!! I asked for just a clean up and I left home crying because my eyebrows have never looked this horrible. I've gotten my eyebrows done here by a younger girl and she always does so great but this older lady really ruined it for me. Not to mention that when she was threading my eyebrows it hurt so bad like she kept pinching my skin. When i got home after the swelling and redness had gone down i noticed that i still had hair where i initially wanted it to be clean. I am so livid please be careful with who you chose. I wish i would've gotten her name. I went on a Saturday morning and i usually go on a Friday afternoon. I will never go with that lady again!! read more

SOI, please take this tip. Simply because a teenage boy walks in there does not mean he should be treated like he doesn't know anything about brows. This is my second time getting my eyebrows done and after waiting on another customer it was my turn. Why is it that the lady, name starts with A yet I do not remember what it was, immediately prepared to do my eyebrows without even asking me how I wanted them? I was shocked, I told her stop so I could show her a picture of how I had gotten them last time. She glances at the picture and then says alright and gets to work. The whole time the movements just felt wrong, she was spending to much time here and there, and not enough in other spots. With the mirror I see that she has not done my eyebrows the way I asked her to, and I do understand that one can't simply replicate someone else's work. Yet it was just sloppy! I have a natural arch and she basically rounded my left arch while leaving the right one! Why did she even shape my eyebrows? I simply asked for a cleanup yet she completely changed the shape of my eyebrows and took too much hair off. I am just infuriated and I do hope that next time you will improve, but I will not be going back there. read more

Pros- the lady who did my eyebrows was great at work. She did well n very nice to talk to her. Later after coming home I get to see the cut on my forehead unfortunately. That's one thing made me feel later. Wait time is also not much. Just 5-10mins wait time if the lady does only eyebrows. Cons- I went with a coupon I bought, but she refused in taking the coupon saying that she is new and she cannot take the coupon. I told her how to redeem so that she can do. But even then refused. I asked her for 5 mins to take the coupon, I went all the way from Irving to Lewisville with the wonderful coupon price I got and the reviews I read. But finally I ended up paying double for eyebrow threading. I took the coupon for 5 threading sessions, so wat shld I do now??? She said you can come Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday so that other lady will be available to take the coupon, she only didn't mention Thursday as I went on Thursday There is only one lady in the salon at that time. And I dint know wat to do, so I paid the amount she said. Over all, liked the service by the lady but I felt like I am cheated without taking the coupon I bought. My time and all has been wasted going so far reading the reviews. Now wat shld I do with the coupon??? If same repeats the time when I go next time? read more

Depends who you get and the time Of day. I've been going here to more than one location and my experiences have been so-so. I'd probably stick to waxing at a nail Salon or spa before I paid the money for threading again. Plus I find that my brows grow back faster after threading. But the ladies are nice and membership discounts are available. Usually the wait time is no more than 5-10 mins, if any. read more

I had just gotten my hair done and was on my way home. Figured I should get my brows done to complete the fix. I stopped in a nail shop and asked for an eyebrow wax and she said the wait was 10-15 minutes. I walked around to Soi where there was no line, no wait. Place was very clean and so was the restroom. A short time later, my eyebrows look fantastic. I will definitely be back and I can't wait. I have already gotten compliments on my brows. You should check them out! read more

I've been to this location a couple times before and haven't been too impressed but its location is convenient. However, my most recent trip was the worst. The girl was very rough with my face and then was rude to me when I told her she was hurting me. When I looked at my face in the mirror when she was done I was bleeding in three different spots and she never apologized or did anything about it. That's never happened to me before. Been here several times to have my brows and upper lip threaded. Sanjeena (sp?) is my favorite. She is always detailed and has a soft touch. I leave happy with my brows clean and even, and my upper lip hair-free every time. Even come here from Farmers Branch (more than 7 miles) because no one near me compares. read more

My stylist was attentive and listened to my desired shape and thickness. She delivered perfection! After getting the mirror, I counted 12...no exaggeration...12 cuts on my face with no apology from her and a $16 payment for a job I was completely unhappy with. I went to SOI for the first time today. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for over 6 years, and I've never had such a poor experience. The salon was clean and the women working there were friendly and professional. I specifically asked for a clean up and stated that I did not want my eyebrows to be thinner or shorter in length. The woman who did my eyebrows, Sanjeena, pressed down very hard and didn't seem to pull the hair out quickly enough, so it was painful. When she was done threading she trimmed my brows. She said that she trimmed one "a little too short" so would have to make them even. By the time she was done, she may as well have used a razor and shaved them both off. She handed me the mirror, and I said, "oh, wow those are really short". She became defensive and responded that my eyebrows will grow back in fast. Now that I'm reading other reviews, others have said the same thing. The owner should let this one go to keep her business! read more
