Born and raised in Santa Ana, I know what good tacos are supposed to taste like, and Soho Tacos has some of the best tacos I've ever had. Not only did they cater my event, but I also rented their private event space, Sala, and I couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. For the food, we had carne asada, chicken, potatoes, and al pastor. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. Each option was seasoned perfectly, and the tacos were definitely one of the highlights of the event. We also ordered the agua fresca, and it was so good. My only regret is that I didn't bring my Hydro Flask because I absolutely would have filled it up and taken some home. I think that was honestly what made me the most sad after the event -- realizing I could have taken some home with me! Sala was also the perfect private event space. It has high ceilings, cute furniture, greenery throughout, and everything was super clean. There's also ample parking, which is a huge plus when you're hosting an event. The staff was incredibly accommodating, and I especially want to shout out Selene, Rico and Oscar. I worked with them to solidify my event in less than two weeks, and they made the entire process so easy. They helped secure my event, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything was executed perfectly. With such a short timeline, I really appreciated how responsive and helpful they were throughout the entire process. From the food to the space to the staff, everything was wonderful. I can't wait to use Soho Tacos and Sala again for my next event. Highly recommend them for both catering and private events. read more

The most transparent way would be to markup all of your items by 20% and remove the service fee. That would be the least deceptive practice. By replying, "Please rest assured that 100% of this gratuity goes directly to our hardworking employees who prepare and package your orders", means you are really deaf tone. Even Olive Garden catering service doesn't even pull the deceptive stunt that you guys pulled. Shame on your greediness and how you treat your employees and customers. Gratuity should be optional, not mandatory. It's simple, built it in the price. read more

Soho hit it out of the park with our daughter's wedding! The food was incredible and fairly priced. We were concerned that tacos wouldn't be elevated enough for a wedding, but they absolutely were given Soho's quality. If they had a restaurant in our town, I'd be a regular! My wife and I would highly recommend Soho for an elevated taco experience, including excellent appetizers as well. read more

We love to cater from here. Great selection from the steak tacos, chicken, the potatoes for the vegetarians out there. They don't use lard which is a hug plus for us. Mini cheese and bean burritos are always a hit as well. Also, all the condiments from lime, cilantro, onions, Salas, chips, cheese, guac, and everything including makes it easy to feed a huge family and they always love it! read more

I had been to a party which used SoHo so it was a no-brainer when planning a baby shower. Selene was SO helpful and easy to work with. On the day of the event the two guys arrived an hour before dinner was to be served. They were friendly and everything was ready on time. The guests raved about the carne, chicken and potato tacos. No one went hungry. We even had leftovers to enjoy the next day. The mini cheese and bean burritos were also a big hit. I would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

I could write an entire novel about our experience with SoHo Tacos, but I have to start by thanking Selene. From the very beginning, Selene felt less like a sales coordinator and more like a friend helping me plan one of the most important days of my life. As someone who works in the event industry, I have incredibly high expectations when it comes to communication, attention to detail, and genuine care for a client's experience. Selene exceeded every one of them. She took the time to understand exactly what I was envisioning, guided me through decisions with honesty and expertise, and made recommendations as if she were helping plan her own friend's wedding. Throughout the process, she was patient, responsive, accommodating, and always willing to make necessary adjustments to ensure everything was perfect. Then came the wedding day, and the SoHo Tacos team absolutely delivered. Their staff was professional, kind, efficient, and a complete pleasure to have on site. The setup was beautiful, the service was seamless, and the food was nothing short of exceptional. To this day, our friends and family are still talking about the tacos. In fact, I don't think a single person left without raving about the food. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and executed perfectly. And let me save future couples some time: order the handmade tortillas. They are worth every single penny. If you're debating whether to upgrade, stop debating and do it. They elevated the entire experience and were one of the most talked-about details of the evening. I also LOVEDDDD how they packaged all leftovers for you at the end of the event. It came in so necessary when my husband and I got hungry after the wedding was over. You really get what you invest in with SoHo tacos, they're worth everything. Thank you, Selene, and thank you to the entire SoHo Tacos team for helping make our wedding unforgettable. You exceeded every expectation, and I cannot wait to recommend you to future clients, friends, and family for years to come. read more

If you are in the market for taco catering for an event then Soho Taco is absolutely the place I would recommend. The food is excellent, ESPECIALLY the carnitas, shrimp, tortillas and their salsa verde is out of this world. Our venue had fairly strict insurance requirements and Selene worked with us every step of the way. We attended a tasting event to sample the food before finalizing our order. We had to make some adjustments to the final count of guests, and even wanted to pick up the cutlery before our event, and they worked with us every step of the way. They helped made our wedding so magical and I am so thankful for them! read more

We had these tacos and appetizers for a friend's wedding this weekend and it was DELICIOUS! It was so nice to have the option to get shrimp/potatoe. Most taco carters only have meat options... and they were DELICIOUS. Such a hit. Will use them for my next events! They were all so nice and worked so fast! read more

We had my baby shower and my daughter's 2nd birthday here this weekend and it was perfect. Soho Taco has catered several events at our home, and we are always very impressed with the high quality of food, great customer service, and attention to detail. The initial step of placing a catering order is handled with excellent communication via phone call and email. On the day of our event, the Soho Taco Crew arrived on time to set-up their friendly and professional mobile kitchen, and were ready to serve our 50 guests on time. At the end of the serving time, the crew quietly packed up, and also nicely packed up leftovers for my family. Everyone raved about the tacos! The meat proteins are all delicious, and the side condiments are super fresh! The shrimp tacos and mango salsa are always a special treat! Soho Tacos are my "go to" catering company for my events!! I highly recommend Soho Tacos for your next event! read more

Laguna Beach, Ca. We have used SoHo three times now, twice at our home and once at a neighbors. Every experience has been absolutely positive. Our latest event was a birthday party for a family patriarch and the part performed by SoHo was flawless. They showed up early and got set up in a timely manner. One of the chefs communicated perfectly which was helpful because my Spanish is very poor. There were a few highlights from last Saturday I'd like to touch upon: The shrimp is amazing, it is cooked in a great spicy butter sauce which was just as good the next day while we were enjoying leftovers. When served in a taco they add a creamy sauce that blends well into the wonderful taste. The Asada is great. One thing I cannot tolerate is gristle and attention was given during trimming to eliminate this annoyance. The size was perfect for a good texture and the steak flavor was outstanding. After the event we were given all the leftovers which included everything: Chips, guacamole, all of the meats, all of the tortillas, cheeses, onions, beans, rice, etc. etc. We ended giving large care packages to several guests. I must mention the carnitas which are very flavorful. The two guys doing all the cooking were very kind and helpful to a large group of us old people. They did a thorough cleanup and left without leaving a trace. SoHo may charge a bit more for their service but I feel their overall product is worth the price, which is why we are repeat customers. read more

Whether you've got a party of 10 or 100, Soho is the place you want to call! :) I had a small party of 15 of my girlfriends join me poolside for my bday. SoHo's to go packaging made it so easy to pick up, transport, and set up. They used Saran Wrap and foil to keep everything fresh and hot, you also have the option to add on chafers, if you wish. We got the chicken, carne asada, tortillas, Spanish rice, refried beans, chips, and all the toppings. Oh my gosh, I almost forgot the star of the show, the mini bean and cheese burritos were an ABSOLUTE HIT! We got a dozen of them and that was the first thing to get wiped out. Don't skip on these, you have to get them for your party! You ever cater tacos and end up with your party liking the meat but not the sides or vice versa? This is the first time that my guests and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED everything, the sides, the sauces, and the meat, everything was delicious, there was nothing we could complain about. Alexis and Selene were amazing, professional and so friendly. My fiancé had a million questions and they never once rushed us. :) We look forward to using Soho Taco catering for more parties and events in the near future. read more

We first learned about soho taco through our wedding venue many years ago. We went to one of soho's tasting events (which is held bi-monthly, priced very reasonably, and well organized in their Santa Ana location) and were SUPER impressed. We ended up going with another caterer for our wedding but because their food and service left an impression, when we were planning our baby shower last year, we immediately thought of soho taco again! We went to another tasting event and it did not disappoint, so we retained soho to cater our shower. Why we would recommend Soho to ANYONE: 1). Great service. Selene was so great and made our lives easy. She was detailed oriented, very responsive, and answered a lot of our questions. She made us feel at ease planning our event and coordinated everything. Delivery was prompt (although probably should've asked for more prep/ set up time on the day of) and service was great. 2). Food was yummmmmy! Honestly, what's good caterer without great food? Our guests were as impressed by the food as we were. We initially wanted their on site cooking but ended up opting for the tray food (with warmers). They were just as tasty! The portion is on the smaller side though, not gonna lie, but it ended up being the perfect amount of food for us. If you have a big party, you might have to communicate that with them pre-event. Soho taco isn't the cheapest but the quality is there, so it really depends on what you want and what kind of event/ catering you're looking for. Definitely go to one of their tasting events and try for yourself! We are a fan! read more
