I have to say that if you are going in for a manicure or pedicure it's a perfectly pleasant place to go. The work is done well and the pedicures are relaxing . Even the acrylics are done nicely depending on who you go to. However please don't get your acrylic nails removed here. When I returned to get my acrylics removed one of the young ladies decided it was a good idea to remove my nails with another acrylic nail tip. She pried and wiggled my fake nails off of my natural nail causing pain and lifting. Yes yes how dumb of me for letting her do this but be aware that I don't get acrylics done often. This was for a special occasion. From what I now understand they are suppose to soak your nails and then remove the acrylics. That's not what happened. I left stressed and injured . It's been a week now and my nails are still hurting. The young lady who was working on me was either careless or just as ignorant as myself. Please don't let anybody do this to your nails. read more

I came in about an hour before they close, and I was helped right away. As I got seated I showed my nail tech the picture reference I had in mind, she took a snapshot on her phone and got started. Everything from start to finish was great. My nails came out perfect, I had asked for matte but my tech before the full top coat finish, showed me the difference in what it would look like matte or gloss. So, with that said she made sure to ask before finishing for my opinion, and I chose with gloss because it did end up looking better than matte. I felt very comfortable in there, she didn't rush to finish even tho it was time for them to close, she finished throughly without any mistakes. The vibes/atmosphere is very relaxing and almost like "luxurious" but with good pricing. My nail techs name I think is "Nhi" and she was definitely wonderful. I had came in for a full set only. I love the staff (Ari) is awesome Last weekend took my daughter to get painted toes for prom and a fill on one of her toes "she had acrylic due to a toe nail needing to be taken off recently" walked in and made it aware she wasn't wanting a full pedicure just polish and a fill on her pinky toe. I was told by the tall girl (don't know her name) that they wouldn't do that because she needed a full pedi. Excuse me? So I made an appointment, walked in it was full. I came about 10 minutes early so I obviously didn't mind waiting. When it was time they sat me at a chair and then walked away. At 2:40 a lady comes and stars removing my nail polish and then about the third finger in she has the audacity to ask me to do it myself and walks away. THEN after 20 minutes she comes back and glues on the nail to each of my fingers and WALKS away AGAIN! At 3:00 I'm still waiting she comes back at around 3:10 and starts filing down my nails. Then she leaves AGAIN! Finally at 3:30 she starts shaping them and I'm out the door by 4. To top it off she says 15% off of gel full set is 34$ but it's actually $29. I'm never ever coming here. Yesterday after work was my first time at this nail salon. There are no places to go for a full set without an appointment in Kerman. The only thing I was pleased about was how fast I was in a chair , however I did not see the nail tech wipe the area before I sat down. She did not understand not speak English so she didn't know how to say the prices or how much was a full set or any services (gel, polish, colored acrylic) that I asked about. I left very unhappy, my nails were pointing different ways and my real nail was showing on the sides of the artificial nail Which she tried to file down with her drill. I think Soho can still be a 5-Star shop... IF Matthew does your Ombré nails. I had someone else do them today... not good! I have small/narrow nail beds... only now I have big ole' fat nails. For what she did -- I now have a week of filing, and having my hands half polished while I'm reworking the nails before an event I'm attending in a few days. Even though Matthew came over to try to interpret... I am not happy with the results. Too thick; too wide; extremely small white tips. I'll be back again to try in a couple weeks, otherwise back to Fresno where I know they will be thicker than I want, but my nails will still look better. ----- Finally decided to get a pedicure at Soho... 5-Star! Well....I don't leave many negative reviews. I went for a manicure and was first at the salon. My technician was responsive but I will warn others about the sterility of their instruments. Also -I had many cuticles bleed...really frightening!! HIV continues to be an issue. I will not return...I don't know if they follow state laws. I will report to the board for lack of separation of dirty and clean tools. *UPDATE* I am updating my review from one star to three stars. Today I went back because my gel polish started peeling up on my fingernails. I went in and spoke with Matthew who I think is the owner or manger. I showed him what was going on and he had the lady who did it originally fix them. I can tell she was taking it slower this time and the nails do look better. I think since they were so busy they were just in a rush to get clients out the door. They were very nice about it and weren't rude about me asking for them to fix the polish. I am still upset about my toe being infected but I may give them the benefit of the doubt. I really wanted to like this place because it's so close to home but I left slightly disappointed and very disappointed the next day. We'll start with the good. I walked in on Friday, November 10 which was a holiday for most. They were able to get me seated for a pedicure right away (I'll talk more about this in a sec). They were very friendly and the place started to get pretty busy so I couldn't do the mani/pedi simultaneously. After my pedicure I went over to the nail station to get a gel mani. And, well, the manicure looks good so that's good I guess. Onto the bad. During my pedicure the lady was using a buffer on my big toe. She was rubbing so hard that it hurt and ultimately made me bleed. I didn't say anything because I'm a quiet person but I really should have. She knew right away that she messed up because she didn't even finish buffing the rest of my toes before throwing my foot into the water to clean the wound (which burned really bad). Considering she knew she messed up, she didn't even say anything or apologize or give me a discount on the pedicure, I was charged full price. And again I didn't say anything because I hate complaining about someone's services. It started to get busy and the rest of the pedicure was extremely rushed. When she would use the gel UV dryer on one foot, she would shove the other foot out of the way pretty rudely. After this I moved on to the manicurist who did a pretty good job on my nails. She didn't cause any pain or make me bleed and the polish looks nice. However, the manicure took MAYBE 10 minutes because, again, they got very busy. I thought my toe would be fine but I'm feeling the pain one day after the pedicure. It hurts if I move it the wrong way or if something touches it. I put hydrogen peroxide on it and I can tell it's infected. I wish I could remember the lady's name who did my pedicure but I just can't. She also didn't polish part of one of my toes that I didn't notice until I got home. Again, I really wanted to like this place but an infected toe is not making me want to give this place another chance. I wish I would've spoken up at the time and not had to pay full price for the pedicure but I really do hate being a complainer or someone who causes a scene. Service was good. I had acrylic nails removed, the girl that helped me took them off one by on by shoving a plastic nail between my nail and the acrylic until it popped off. It hurt a little but the job was done. My nails were super weak underneath so I went ahead and got gel nails. My nails started breaking day 2, so I cut them off and now the gel is chipping. The people were friendly, but friendly does t always mean that they do a good job. so Amy ( a technician) haggled me me to do one of more expensive pedicures that they offer which was whatever, ( I didn't care for the haggling) I figured whatever let's try it for it had been a while that I had rec a pedicur. I normally go when I get ingrown toenails, so I do very basic pedicure for that reason. So Amy told me to relax but talked the whole time about how she was the greatest with many years of experience and so on. Well when it came to taking out my ingrown she had to attempt several times and she finally insisted that she got it all and I asked her to keep trying cause there was more. She dug some more and then insisted that there was no more ingrown nail. I go home and it's message the still sore thru the night. I leave a review on the text that they sent me and sounded concerned. However, when I went back in the next day...they pulled out the rest of the ingrown toenai that they failed to get out the day before and didn't even have the common courtesy to put alcohol Or peroxide after making it bleed a little. Great addition to Kerman. This is a big, open salon right near deli delicious, sally beauty and the Kerman Walmart. You can get in here without an appointment and their gel color selection is extensive. They are friendly and quick. I've had a gel pedicure and two gel manicures here and they've all looked good and lasted weeks. My only complaint is that they are on the pricier side and they upsell their services. So the last time I went in I paid about $75 for a gel mani/pedi. Kuddos to them on selling though; that's their job. I don't feel like the extra scrub or mask on the pedicure is worth it though. Pros: staff speak English AND speak to you. Most of them are friendly and polite to you and genuinely care about your experience. They have 6 stations for nails and rotate people quicker than any other salon. It's fairly cheap. They did a poor job and rectified it immediately after I rang up and said something. Loads of different colours and styles. Some of the technicians are very talented. Cons: some of the staff are clearly overworked, and boy don't you know it. Downstairs, one of the staff would tell everyone they were tired, they work every day etc. I went downstairs to be painted and one of the girls just sat there and didn't call me over until I dropped in i'd been here a while. She didn't have anyone there, I assume she was having a break but like.. say that? I was sat there uncomfortable because I didnt know what I was doing. Then she heard someone coming downstairs so started working on me. She's clearly not happy working there, and this is affecting the quality of the work she's doing. Which was reflected in my nails. I had to call back up and ask for them to be repainted because the job was bad and needed another coat and I also wasn't dry. If i'm honest it comes across as laziness when i'm sure she's just tired and overworked due to how busy it is. I think a less understanding customer would think it was laziness. The poor girl next to her was working away without complaint. I don't mean to be rude but it's not a great experience to hear all that. You come to a salon to relax and if i'm honest it was pretty stressful. The same girl had complained to one customer so much she actually spoke to the manager about bringing the girls downstairs food. The manager then quite loudly told the customer she is fed and that her problem is she smokes too much. Quite awkward. The two downstairs were the only ones that were having breaks and eating when everyone upstairs wasn't, yet one of them complained to every customer about how overworked she is. Kinda makes you not want to go there, like you're an inconvenience. Giving it 4/5 purely because of how well the manager dealt with me. So the service and wait time wasn't bad at all. It's what happened after. My daughter and I had mani pedis about two weeks ago. Two days later my daughters big toe had a really bad infection. I medicated it and it healed. Decided I'd never go back to SoHo because an infection after a pedicure obviously means dirty facility. Anyway, yesterday my gel polish from my manicure finally started peeling and when it all fell off, my nails were so thin I can barely touch anything because it hurts so bad, my nails are so thin and brittle that they are peeling. They keep peeping so low that some of my nails are bleeding. I feel like the guy who did my manicure overly filed my nails and cause my nail beds immense stress. This is the 3rd time I have been to Soho and Bin has done my nails each time. He has always done a good job. I let him know what I want and he delivers. This visit I asked for Ombré and he asked if I wanted glitter on them. I told him I had never had ombre and he said I'll show you and then you decide. Well, I loved it! Bin is always friendly and holds a great conversation. Soho has expanded and been given a fresh look. The space is the same but they've added more pedicure and nail stations. With this addition comes new employees and unfortunately some are not trained well. I don't blame the lady that did my pedicure. It was clear that she was nervous and not ready to give a professional pedicure. She wasn't sure of the steps and was "schooled" several times on correct protocol by other employees. Someone with experience will guide your feet where they need to be with a slight touch. I had to let her know she was hurting me the way she held my ankle. The outcome was just barely passing. The polish was streaked. I think she'll be fine with more training and experience. I've been coming here since they opened and I seem to always get the new person with the least experience. I didn't have the best experience at this place. I went in to get my nails taken off and the service was mediocre. While I was getting my nails taken off, the young girl taking them off would get into a conversation with another coworker and there were several times where she stopped and left me there in the middle of my snapping my nails off. I had acrylic on my hands and there was NO soaking with acetone. She started by cutting my nails down with a nail clipper and then got a nail tip to get under my acrylic nails and snapped them off. The process was PAINFUL. She didn't stop to ask me if I was ok, although it was apparent I was in pain. Then when she was all done, my nails looked rough and there was a lot of damaged white spots from her pulling on my nails. I asked her if she could file them down more and I could tell she didn't like it. I was charged $15. I still tipped because it was a service, but won't be coming back because 1) bad service, acted like they were doing you a favor 2) left me hanging several times 3) did not stop or check in me when I was clearly in pain 4) left rough looking nails. It wasnt so much the amount i paid it was there attitude after speaking to what i can only assume was the owner i wad told to come in 9:15 am i was there n it took him about 40 min to get to my nails it was horribly awkard as they back n forthed eachother in of course a language i cannot understand so i dont know if she was in trouble or it was about my nails n me all i know is i was treated as if i was getting my nails as a hand out and since that was not the case i would at least appreciate a better attitude towards there customers read more
