Because of his experience he has the ability to do procedures that most doctors will refer you to a specialists. Works with people on costs with the insurance company. His assistant Dustin is very kind and competent and Dr. Jean relies on him for excellent service. I have been going to Soft Care Dental since Dr. Jean took over the location and rebranded it to Soft Care Dental. That is over 25 years. Dr. Jean is The BEST any problems he will fix it. I am so lucky to find Soft Care Dental. Every one so friendly and professional. The waiting room is clean and comfortable, but I never spend much time waiting in there. The staff all have nice, pretty smiles. My Dr. Sam is amazing! She carefully explained everything she was going to do to me. So far she has filled 2 small cavities, extracted an old molar and repaired my (60 something years old) chipped and cracked front teeth and made them look new again. I am thrilled with the way they look now. So far I haven't had even one painful moment! I am going in for 2 implants soon and am looking forward to chewing like a champion again! I could not have chosen a better dentist than Dr. Jean at Softcare. Him, and his staff make you feel very much at ease from the moment you walk in the door. The ladies up front are very kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable when it comes to insurance questions you may have. The hygienists really take their time to make sure you are comfortable and don't feel like you are just getting poked in the mouth. Dr. Jean has a very gentle touch, and is willing to help resolve any issues I have had without just referring me to a specialist and sending me on my way as some dentist choose to do. He, and his assistants are very efficient all while having a great bedside manner. I would love to write about my experience at the soft care dental about how Dr. Jafari and her team surrounded me with professional care and expertise. It's good to mention that with all the orthodontics procedures that took years of my teenage life, I'm still feeling nervous for sitting on the dental chair and still not get used to that situation but Dr jafari's expertise and diagnosis made me feel as comfortable as possible with it! She knows what I need even when I'm not aware of that, Due to the use of hydrogen peroxide in the treatments of my implant I haven't noticed that my teeth got the discoloration and find it out when the procedure was done! With my sensitive teeth The dental Hygienist Marija, was the first person ever in my whole life that had the kindest care and as gentle as possible. She even reduced the temperature of the water to rinse off the toothpastes and I am still not sure if that possible or with all the pampering care she provides I felt that way! Sheridan who take care of the whitening process was experienced enough to diagnose that I had a crack on one of my teeth that caused a sharp pain during the procedure. She call out the Doctor and stop the whitening process immediately! She explained everything throughly that I thought she is a hygienist too. All I can say is Dr Jafari's energetic positive attitude is spreading around her surroundings, as of her happy spirit effects on everyone's beautiful smile in that office! read more

I got extremely lucky when I picked this dental practice. Their work is so decent and their care is as soft as the name implies. I needed a root canal and several fractures repaired along with deep cleaning. I never felt the slightest discomfort and all of the while being asked if I was OK. Everyone from the front desk, the hygienists, to the doctors could not have been nicer or more helpful. I knew going in what everything was going to cost and how much my insurance was going to cover. I'm going to need a couple of implants but that's for next year. For the first time in my life going to the dentist was actually fun. read more

Recently I have had too many bad experiences here and probably will not be returning which is kinda sad since I've been going here for over ten years. I'm very disappointed with the scheduling and billing personnel. I don't know if the dentist allows them to over book but I just spent a hour and a half with the hygienist doing a scaling and planing procedure that should only be an hour. I think I was subjected to an extra 30 minutes of this painful procedure to stall for the busy doctor. I like the doctor but there's lots of good doctors out there. I had a horrible experience at this place . This was the second time I visited this place. The first time was great, everybody was nice. Dr. Jean recommended to have my wisdom teeth removed so I schedule an appointment to get them removed and cleaning. The hygienist was nice, after that the service just went down hill. I waited for almost two hours for the assistant doctor to finish up with her previous patient. She had some problem on removing a bad tooth from that patient and showed her frustration and anger toward me. She also accused that I have attitude problem. Of course I'm not happy with the way you are rushing to get my teeth removed because it was 5:30pm on a Friday and you were trying to get out. She scratched my lip when moving tools around. Worst thing is, I don't trust that she's capable of that job, she pulled, levered my tooth for five minutes and it didn't even move. It only got her more frustrated when she couldn't get it to move. I think she's the one having attitude problem. I talked to her to be more gentle and told her that she's hurting my jaw, she would not listen. She doesn't care about the feelings of anybody. The. She just refused to continue. Really? You can't get the job done and you are just quitting? Ok, I wouldn't want you to work on my teeth. So I got up and talked to the receptionist to get a refund. She promised to call me the next day to see how I feel and never did. I called the next day and got my teeth removed at some other dental office. The whole thing took less than an hour. Its been a week now and im healing pretty good. I will not go back to that place again. read more
