But, it's on Martha's Vineyard - everything is expensive, and it's full of tourists. So you should expect to find that at Menemsha Blues just like you would anywhere else. It is similar to Black Dog, but not as big, and not as ubiquitous. I also disagree with characterizing it as a "chain." It's a local store that has several physical locations in the area. As far as their products: the quality of everything they sell is excellent. We bought several clothing items from them, and they were worth every penny. My husband seriously considers a trip back just to buy more of the polo and button-up shirts there because he loves them so much (and you can't get most of the items on their website, which is the only slight issue I have). He routinely gets stopped while wearing their items, because people like the small fish logo and it's so unusual, and they want to know where he got it. By all means, go to Menemsha Blues, and the original store in Menemsha is quite charming. If you dislike paying for quality items or buying from a store that has several locations in the area it was founded, I guess you can skip it, but you're doing yourself a disservice.

Great little sea bags store at Mashpee Commons. Good selection of sea bags, which are bags and…read morepurses made out of old sails, repurposed. Employees were very friendly. Fun experience. I like the old sail bags with the old letters and numbers from the sails on the bags. They have a lot of patterns that they create and print on the bags like mermaids or lobsters. They can customize your bag and print whatever you like on them. It is as really cool idea and I love the stores. I have several.
