Bought a sofa and loveseat. Not long after having it, the sofa started having some issues so I called them and talked to Matt, store manager, I assume. He was beyond rude and argumentative. I don't really write reviews unless I feel it's needed and I feel this one is NEEDED. We purchased an expensive sofa set from Sofas & More. One part of the sofa was delivered damaged, unusable. We had a really hard time just getting the manager to replace the broken piece that was delivered. Within a year other parts started falling apart; motor went out, the inside of the sofa was cheap plywood, like cardboard. After the year we contacted the store and they told us to contact Capnip, the manufacturer. We did and sent pictures of the damaged parts. Catnip never responded and I think they have us on a scam phone because every we called, it just hung up. When we called the store manager, he was so rude and aggressive with us. We had to throw one section away because it was completely broken, we also spent about $100.00 to replace the motor on one sectional, and the rest of the sofa is breaking down as well. We can't afford to buy a new sofa as this one was $3,000. Honestly, we've never had a negative experience like this with a store. It's best to buy from a more reputable store, hopefully you will have a better and safer experience than we did. BUYER BEWARE. read more

I purchased a recliner on 12/7/24, I had the recliner for 4 days and the metal base collapsed under the recliner dumping me out in the floor. I call Matt, the manager at store and was advised that he could not give a refund or store credit. I took the recliner back to the store drop off and discuss options moving forward. I was told by the lady at the front desk that no one there could discuss options with me and the manager Matt was gone for the day. Mrs. advised me to drive around back that someone would meet me there to unload the recliner. I have been a loyal customer to this store for several years and feel that I was treated poorly by Matt the manager as well as the staff. read more

Me and husband was looking for furniture at the end of 2020. We went to several furniture stores. We found a living room set at one store but we just wanted to make sure. We went to sofa&More the next day and my husband saw this one set and sat in the loveseat and said this is so comfortable. I looked at the tag it said CATNAPPER from Jackson Furniture in Athens TN. So we bought it. They said it would not be delivered until January 2021. That was fine I was giving my leather furniture to my son that was moving out in January 2021. We had that furniture about 10 yrs and it still looked good. They delivered my furniture the first week of JAN 2021. About 3 weeks later I noticed the foot rest on my electric recliner on my love seat the filler wasn't really filled up. I called Sofa & More talked to the manager cause we bought extra warranty he didn't really seemed concerned but he said he would call the place that fixes CATNAPPER. They came out laughed said there is a zipper underneath the footrest and you will either have to move around the fiber or buy more because it looks like JACKSON FURNITURE didn't put enough fiber in there. I tried to move it around but when I did the other places were not enough. I had to buy more fiber off of Amazon. I filled it up. Then in 2022 about June or July I noticed my seat cushion on my electric loveseat some it looked like my seat cushion was coming out. I looked and the thin fabric that holds the seat cushions has ripped (it's just me and my husband no animals no children) I called Sofa & More again they called the warranty place they said oh we can't fix your CATNAPPER it is normal wear and tear. I said what?, we only had this furniture since January 2021 this is 2022. He said yes. I said soooo we spent extra money for the warranty and we feel it's just waste of money. Don't buy the extra warranty that is the sell scam. I emailed JACKSON FURNITURE and they emailed me back fast. Customer service said I'm sorry you are having problems send me pictures. I did and since I did I HAVE NOT heard anything back. I wrote a review on BBB and Consumer Affairs. Bottom line don't buy extra warranty that is a sales scam and the salesperson probably gets extra money and DONt buy CATNAPPER. I wished I looked at the reviews on BBB This furniture looks like I got this at a second hand store and I bought the whole set. After I went over to my sons apartment I said I will trade furniture he said nope mine looks better and it's over 10yrs old and my piece of junk is 2. Sad!! My husband and I were shopping for a sectional and planned on shopping several stores to find exactly what we needed. First stop was Sofas & More, 7114 Maynardville Pike. Thanks to the excellent selection and friendly sales staff it turned out to be our only stop. We found the perfect sectional and Kathy helped insure we got the right pieces to fit in our den. She was patient and helpful, making suggestions to make it work for us. The prices were great so we bought the sectional and even added some rugs to finish off the den and two bedrooms. Matt came out to make sure we had everything we needed and followed up with us to be sure we were completely satisfied. The furniture was delivered yesterday and the delivery men were polite, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this store to any and every one. 5 stars all the way! read more

First time in the store but definitely will not be my last! I purchased a beautiful leather sectional at a good price. Once i got it home, i realized the corner piece was too big to fit through the doorway of my older home. I called the next morning and without hesitation the customer service manager, Matt, offered to drive 25 minutes to my house and help us get it in. Although he was surprised that he couldn't get it through the doorway, he didn't give up. He began by taking the door off of the hinges and by the time we realized that wasn't going to work either my boyfriend had arrived and together they were able to get the piece through a window. Matt was there for approximately an hour just to help. That's the absolute best customer service i have ever experienced! read more

I bought a futon and the main load bearing board split on the first day. I didn't notice when I bought it, but it's not made with full boards - small pieces are grafted together and easily split. The futon was way overpriced for the horrible workmanship. I also bought a floor model - with NO DISCOUNT - and who knows how many people bounced on these grafted together boards. I didn't buy insurance because I was just ripped off by Knoxville Wholesale Furniture - their warranty wouldn't replace furniture and by Best Buy - Junk Bee Gone hit and broke the crystals in my TV and the warranty didn't cover screen damage (the only reason I bought warranty). In both instances, the salesperson said the warranty would cover what it did not cover. So I skipped buying the warranty for the futon because this business was recommended to me and I thought it was an honest family owned business. I was so wrong. The futon mattress is total crap but I'm afraid a good mattress would break the glued together board pieces. read more

We found just what we wanted at the Hall's Sofas & More store. Our saleslady and owner said the sofa and loveseat were in stock in a dark color, but if we ordered it we could choose from one of 5 colors. We chose a gray and our purchase price was $2882, We wanted to take advantage of no financing for a year so we paid $882. down and waited about 5 weeks for our purchase to arrive. On delivery day, my husband and I both told the delivery men that we noticed an extremely strong odor from the furniture. They said it would go away. After staying the night in our house, I woke up with the taste of a very strong chemical. It was in my nose and throat and seemed to have permeated the entire house. i immediately went to the store and spoke to a salesperson who had to ask the owner two times to come speak with me as he had already told me there was nothing they could do for me. I said I did not want the furniture in my house and later that day, Jeff called and said they would pick it up and let it sit in the store a few days. During it's absence from our home, I did research on the manufacturer's methods and discovered they used and acetone based product on the frame. Sofas and more refused to refund our money, not one cent, until we had an attorney write them a letter offering to pay them 25% of the down payment price for their trouble. Instead of them keeping 25%, they sent me a check for $295. They took 25% of the entire purchase. I have never cashed the check in hopes they will re-consider and they will not. I have never had a reaction to any furniture in my home and even though my husband has asthma, he hasn't either. I will never purchase anything else from their store and consider them very unethical and maybe dishonest..at least with us. I would give them a lower rating, but 0 didn't exist. I like to support local business and expect that that business would try to support me if there is a problem. Shop there at your own risk. By the way, they said they wouldn't return my money as it was a "custom" item when in fact It was just a color that wasn't in stock. read more

Have shopped here several times and have had a pleasant experience every time. The prices are lower than any other place I have been to, and the material is also much better than any other store in Knoxville. This place also price matches. Everyone here is so nice and the saleswomen are not overly pushy unlike other furniture stores. I highly recommend this place to anyone. read more
