Absolutely appalling business practices…read more Knoxville Wholesale Furniture Clearance on Kingston Pike should be ashamed of how they treat their customers, especially elderly ones. They sold my grandmother a lamp for over $200, which turned out to be used, defective, and a legitimate fire hazard. The base of the lamp heated up dangerously and posed a serious safety risk. This wasn't just poor quality, it was a blatant disregard for customer safety. When she returned to the store to explain the situation and try to get a refund, not only were the staff incredibly rude and dismissive, but they also refused to issue any kind of refund. Keep in mind: she left the lamp with them. They now have both the unsafe product and her money, and still refused to take responsibility. This is unethical, unprofessional, and likely a violation of basic consumer protection laws. They don't advertise that they sell used or damaged items, and yet that's exactly what they did. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. If they're willing to take advantage of an elderly customer and brush off a fire hazard, imagine how they'll treat you.

He wouldn't give any specific "sale" information which I found off putting as it was Black Friday. He left us to browse and upon picking out a couch, bed set and dining table set Sarge was unable to ever specify what type of deal he could give and brought out a 1950's calculator and a tiny notepad and proceeded to do his "numbers" which took easily 15-20 minutes. l've never experienced this in any of the previous visits l've mentioned. When he was finished he had overcharged on the bedroom set so my son said he would pass on it and Sarge was annoyed and said, well I guess I'll have to start all over! There was some good natured haggling over the final price and "Sarge" took offense and immediately became very rude and condescending. Following this exchange I went and purchased wall art of which I have the match to, and let the front desk and another salesperson, Neal, know how rude Sarge had become and I wouldn't give him a penny of my money. My daughter-in-law requested Neal finish up the paperwork rather than Sarge and he flew into a fit cussing at Neal. He then stomped by me and my daughter and said "f"&$king" people!! It was so completely shocking and unbelievable that none of us responded but we did make Neal aware. He was extremely apologetic but it didn't negate an awful experience for my family. This review comes almost a week and 1/2 later as we've still yet to be contacted with an apology by management and our Google reviews are being hidden.

I got to Vine after checking out Bliss and OP Jenkins (which is just accross the street). I had actually set my mind on a dresser I found about two days prior at Bliss (west showroom). I pretty muched walked in there to hand over my money and take the dresser. Sadly I couldn't get anybody to attend to me so I drove downtown to check out OP Jenkins. Didn't really find a dresser I liked there so I walked across the street to Vine. Vine Furniture is an interesting store. In a good way. You can immediately tell that the furniture is of slightly lesser quality than the other two stores I visited. Not bad furniture. Functional but not as fancy. It was also hot in there. I think they were probaly trying to save on their cooling bill and I don't blame them for that at all. Anyways. it is a good size showroom with about four levels. I had really amazing help. She came to find me, pointed out where the dressers were, left me on my own device and checked on me after about 20 minutes. She then helped me find something I hadn't noticed that I ended up buying. I was really impressed by the service I got at Vine (instead of pretty much being ignored at Bliss). My new dresser ended up costing about 1/4 less than what I had planned to spend at Bliss. Which worked out perfect cause I could then buy my dogs a fancy dog bed I had been considering for a while. Oh, and I got a 10% discount for paying for it outright instead of financing. They also deliver free downtown. They pretty much have everything one needs to furnish a house. Again, probably not the fanciest furniture but one can definitely find very cute and functional items. At a great price too. Trumped by really awesome service. They most certainly have my vote!
