LOVE LOVE LOVE Sodo! Seriously, so much love.
I've been here several times now and I've not ever had a bad experience. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful, never hesitating to answer any questions or even to just replace your chilli oil if nothing is coming out.
Sodo specialises in sourdough pizza. The sourdough gives a lovely crunchy crust and a bit of kick to the whole pizza. All the options are made with fresh ingredients, and their specials change frequently if you'd like to try something new. My favourite is the classic Margherita, while my husband gobbles up the cured meat pizza. We've had other options that have been good, but when you find your favourite, it's great to just have it every time we get to Clapton.
AND THE GARLIC BREAD. What garlic bread! The flavours of garlic and rosemary blend together so well, and putting that on thin slices of sourdough is such a delicious experience. Do try them!
The beer selection is also very good. I'm a fan of Beavertown and Kernel breweries, and Sodo stocks beer from both! These owners are just too cool.
