Love this farmers market. The Bell District is closer but I have to hustle in and out to go to work…read moreon Saturdays. Mueller is further away, but I have all day to shop, and plan, and get my groceries for the week. Something about this location that just has an energy about it. I feel so much better walking around. The people, the venders, and the dogs. My gosh there are so many dogs. I'm a dog person, and they know it. I have dogs walking up to me. And of course I have to talk to them. Venders are great, you have such a variety of prepared food. Love the dumplings. But there is so much more. Veggies. Fruits, canned goods, baked goods, meats, cheese, eggs, pasta, raw milk. I mean it's just a lot of greatness. Love supporting famers and small businesses. Coming out in the community, and just feeling a connection. Literally recharges me. It's been a draining week, and the market was my therapy today.

Farmers markets are supposed to be welcoming, family-friendly spaces where local vendors, farmers, nonprofits, faith groups, and community members can come together safely and respectfully. Unfortunately, I witnessed something that made the environment feel anything but welcoming. There was a small religious group with a table at the market, and as someone passed by, they shouted offensive racial and religious slurs at the men working the table. It was completely uncalled for. Rather than engaging in any kind of respectful conversation, this person chose to be hateful and intimidating in a public community space. I understand that the organizers may not be able to identify or remove every person who behaves this way, but I do think the market should be more proactive about making its expectations clear. A farmers market should feel safe for everyone, including vendors and community organizations that may be more likely to face harassment. Clear signage, public reminders, or stronger policies against hate speech and intolerance would go a long way. I hope the organizers take this seriously and make it clear that racism, religious intolerance, and harassment are not acceptable at this market. The community deserves a space that truly feels supportive, inclusive, and safe for all.

I still like the vibe, and walk around and see and talk to people. I did get dumplings because I love Red Dragon. I wasn't even hungry. But I didn't want to miss out. The dumplings are 6 for $12.00 but they threw in an extra dumpling for me, which I appreciated. I got the pork dumplings. They were fresh, hot and steamy. I found a place to sit in the sun at a picnic table. Plugged in my head phone, cranked some music and enjoy my dumplings. Gorgeous day to be out in the sun. Nice breeze, and warm temps. Perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

There's a great variety of stands to explore -- everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to homemade salsas, pastries (with both gluten and gluten-free options), bao buns, matcha, wines, and more. It feels like there's something for everyone! The owners are so friendly too and very welcoming. What I really appreciate is how convenient the parking is. There are plenty of garage spots available, so you don't have to stress about finding a place to park. And since it's located right at The Domain, you can make a whole day out of it -- shop, eat, and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun and laid-back weekend outing!

It's got lots of picnic tables for sitting and eating. There is a perfect balance of produce, ready made food, and handmade items. Notable Vendors: -The Thai Street Food stall is amazing. -There is a lady that comes and brings her adorable knitted stuffed animals! -A vendor selling dumplings we definitely want to try next time! -A stand making fresh lemonade that my BF said was the best lemonade he has ever had. My haul included: -Handmade fruit and nut Bars (Oovey's) -Homemade Greek Dips (Hummus, Tzatziki, Babaganoush) -Pad Thai and Thai Beef from the Thai Street food Vendor All the vendors are so friendly and wonderful and you can tell they are so passionate about the items they make :) On Sundays from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Every time we head up to the lake house in LBJ we make a point to come here on Sunday. We load a cooler to take back home with us! Our main stops are: 1. Capital City Ceviche - they make Hawaiian poke just like back home in Hawaii. Since moving to Texas, that was something we haven't been able to find that is good. But here.....OMG the best! 2. JW Seafood - specifically when in season, the fresh oysters are amazing! 3. Prairie's Prairies- they have quality French pastries and baked goods. We love their scones, croissants, and their puffs....oh yum! 4. Goodie Dumplings- They make them fresh on site or have frozen to take home. They have everything from veggie, chicken, beef, pork, and seafood! This are so good. It is usually a snack while we walk around and then we take some to go to add to our ramen at home. They add a lot of vendors throughout the year which is fun! They have craft items as well which we have even bought a few items from those booths as well. Next time you're in Spicewood on a Sunday, be sure to stop in! :)
