Today I went in to get a moving form (because the tech support online could not figure my issue with submitting the move online), and they told me I had to go into an office and submit it manually (what?). So when I went in, the office was closed for lunch but the woman teller was closing the door and was kind enough to go get a form for me and explain how to submit it. I didn't realize it was closed for lunch (1pm-1:30pm) but she still helped me, was very pleasant, and she was 15 minutes into her lunch! Thanks to all of the tellers at this location! I had a package to go out and the mail person already delivered my mail so I checked to find one nearby to drop off my already paid for package. The website for local post offices said that the hours for the Westtown Post office is open until 3p. So I jumped in the car and drove 20 minutes to arrive at 1:10... Maria told me the hours are the ones noted on the door of the post office and that it closed at 1pm. UGH!!!! I now wasted 40 minutes of my day and my package will not be sent until Monday.

If you need other services or didn't renew on-line, the wait can be 2-4 hours. (KOP DMV, if you are reading this, it would be really helpful if you set up a separate 'pictures only' line right at the main entrance.)

I arrived on a Thur morning 30 min prior to opening and the most wonderful security person was already outside making sure folks lined up appropriately, but also informing folks what could NOT get done at this location (no new applications for a SS card), as well as the things that could be done on line so folks didn't waste time in line unnecessarily! And it got better from there: doors opened on time, check-in orderly, plenty signage explaining processes, the same officer even came inside and explained where to find the stations and the bathrooms! Then when I was called, the representative not only addressed my issue, but took time to explain other aspects of SS that were available to me! I have been to a number of SS offices in the Philly area and this was BY FAR the best experience. Did I mention I was out within 35 min? Only issue: street parking is limited, but office is assessable by SEPTA. This is my go-to office from now on! Make it yours

I live in an apartment and even…read morethough I witnessed a tenant trying to break into my neighbor's apartment, they took forever to come to the apartment and then wouldn't even talk to the tenant who tried to break in who has mental issues and a history of doing this!!! And the apartment he was trying to break into had a young girl by herself home alone. They were completely incompetent and gaslighting saying, "what do you want us to do? He didn't break in?" Maybe get off your lazy ass and go talk to him! Not only were they completely dismissive but so was their Sergeant. We pay WAY too much in taxes to have such a shifty police department! That or they are just flat out lazy to do their job right. I had just gotten a ticket in the municipal lot located next to Hoopty's Pizza claiming I had an expired meter. Now first off there are no longer meters in this lot, along with a majority of lots in the Havertown area. What there is now is a kiosk located at every entry point where you pay there. The way this works is , in case you don't know, once you find an available spot there is a number associated to that spot. This is your spot you are paying for at the kiosk, after you pay they issue you a receipt with the allotted time you have. Final step is to place said receipt, (a proof of payment) on your dashboard in plain view. Step 1: check , my number is 46 Step 2: check, $.25 cents for a half hour. (checked in at 8:47 am, expires 9:17 am) Step 3: check , placed in plain view showing payment. Now I was pretty hot about this , I had to take pictures of this . Now the first is Evidence A, and second is Evidence B. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I give you - Evidence A: What we have here is a ticket issued to me showing a Parking Meter violation at 9:09 am. Evidence B: The lazy attendant that can't see, or read showing I was well in the time frame of legal parking. I presented this to Officer Hagan (Havertown's finest) to handle. He did , he also apologized for the lack of effort put forth by the meter attendant. I found some kind of pleasure in making him STOP what he was doing , get him out of his rhythm , just for someone else error. Solid 2, until they invade Wawa and hang out by the coffee stations.

We arrived 5 mins before her appointment at 2:30pm, walked in, went through the metal detectors, everyone was friendly and greeted us, gave us directions to exactly where we needed to go... my friend spoke to a woman and told her the situation, she then spoke to a judge, signed a paper, paid her ticket and we were done. From the moment we walked in, handled the ticket, paid and walk back out... I would say it took no more than ten minutes... I would lean more towards eight minutes. Everyone was super friendly and the place was just about empty. It was appreciated.

I was advised to write the administrative judge to get that thrown out. Oh, if you ever get pulled over by a very very nasty officer like I did, google their full name and district, you'll be surprise what comes up about them. Typically where there is smoke, there is fire!! Remember to do everything with a big SMILE, it irritates people and can turn a bad situation around!

Passport Service Office…read more They have the rudest most unhelpful person working there to run the passport office. Yes, we were 10 minutes late however her lack of any iota of customer service was shocking for such a nice library and other very lovely librarians. This lady could not answer any questions in regard to the form and made no effort to be helpful in any way. She kicked us out 20minutes later as appointments are apparently only 30 minutes on the dot. It is also $35 processing fee per person applying, I guess that's the price for extra rudeness.

The interview went well and the officer was friendly. The second time I went in for my oath ceremony. It was busier this time. Every employee that I encountered was friendly, helpful and patient. I did not see anyone that was rude to candidates or applicants. In fact, I felt their excitement for us becoming US citizens which I thought was so sweet of them. What also stood out to me was that the employees were very friendly, warm and respectful to each other, which is more than you can say of some work environments in corporate America. There is a parking lot across from the building. I believe it's free to use if you have an appointment, but we parked on the street a block away.
