It has been my experience that MaCLeer Harvey has a long history of assuring that they all contain the willingness to go above and beyond, seeking truth and justice. This Firm, especially these two outstanding women Attorneys, deserve recognition for their integrity for assuring our laws are upheld. That every individual who walks through that firm's doors, are 110% respected. I was brought in after being slain by another members of our society. A man with a severe character consistences of self-centered, antisocial, dishonesty, easily manipulates others as he easily seeks them out, he lacks compassion, or a conscious. His only thinks of himself or, "what's in it for me". He's a 45 year old alcoholic from the videos I watched with him in his blue bathrobe during a blackout. He met his 24 yr, when he was driving her to her BF home in Wayne, he was the uber driver. ASAM reports alcohol as a disinhibitor," it will tell us things like, I've only had a few drink's after work, I'm okay to drive home, I fine." No of this thinking is accurate or true. Alcohol is dangerous and it's quite easy to build a tolerance. A person starts with drinking only on Friday's, then it becomes the weekend, with it eventually become more frequent, plus more fot its affect. It's a chronic, progressive, treatable, & if not treated, deadly. I came to this firm from a violent assault by a man who was impaired by his smell as asphyxiated me-per doctors and my wounds. This firm, along with Attorneys Lawrence and Attorney Donato, helped hold me up after a horrific, violent beat down. They offered hope. They seek each clients personal path, exposing truth, and holding the perpetrator accountable. The willingness and fearlessness to seek that root of pain and suffering. Where I'm dying inside, is unmatched. Nothing will stand in their way of exposing truth. Many people today lack inner morals or integrity. This is really about themselves. These self-center and self-entitled individuals have no problem with stepping on others. They are actually bullies and especially find enjoyment with harassing, threatening and bullying innocent individuals, especially those who try to help grow others. His enjoyment of getting away with hurting others and love of what's believed to be powerfully dishonesty, yet in truth they are just bullies and big cowards, pushing around someone smaller and most likely smarter then themselves. Liars and cowards are willing to go to any lengths to point fingers at others without viewing those other fingers pointing right back towards themselves. These criminals have yet met the firm who, fights to prevent innocents, while ensuring our nation's legal system, especially our personal rights are protected and preserved. Lawyers do cost, and that was a challenge for me. While I was still very sick after a violent assault, within a luxury apartment my company/LLC held as the only and entire guarantor for payment, an apartment for safe, daily structured programming made to meet the vetted team of top Philadelphia and local providers, assessing, testing, and re-evaluating diagnosis usually not from psychiatrists ( at inpatient facilities). This team handles all clinical aspects,as we meet with them and monitored how a client is accepting change while learning to live a healthy sober lifestyle, holding a FT job, or FT schooling, a complete family restructuring of broken promises and relationships with the goal to launch into their own made life based on the 4 Agreements and a becoming knowing of self with a 12 Step community commitment building relationships with their own sex vs. the distraction of the opposite gender. while an exclusive contract made to be in specialized 2 years into being harassed and abused by my past employer, who have tons of hard cold cash from their dishonest told to staff, the community and past patients. They even interfered with playing on fears with disrupting and without consent reached out to my firm. It's so critical and I truly cannot stress it enough, that staying close to a solid, ethical, safe, respectful and supportive Attorney and their powerful firm, must take priority. When past employers or relationships that haven't been around in 2 years, reappear, also weren't there when the narrative of pain started, they are not looking out for your personal growth and safety, they tend to have an unseen dirty motives. When the Firm you've hired are the actual ones who will seek, find, and discover all the illegal practices their client was forced, threaten, harassed, plus gay bashing was seen as acceptable just because you held a large amount of the organization's honesty and could easily " whistle blow", please stick as close as you can to your attorneys, their motives are trust and justice.

Both my son and I left work early and lost wages to ensure we were together to take the call. No one called us. When I called the office at 2:10 PM, the receptionist claimed the paralegal had a family emergency. While emergencies happen, they made absolutely no effort to call or email us in advance to cancel. The receptionist then rescheduled us for today, Monday, at 2:00 PM. For a second consecutive time, my son and I rearranged our work schedules to be available. Once again, the firm completely ghosted us and never called.Failing to show up for a scheduled appointment once is bad enough, but doing it twice in a row without a single word of notice shows a complete disregard for potential clients. If this is how they handle basic scheduling, I certainly would not trust them to handle a critical legal matter. Go elsewhere to a firm that actually respects its clients.

This review is not being written impulsively or simply because I did not receive the outcome I…read morehoped for. I waited, reflected on the entire experience, and ultimately hired another law firm before deciding to share what happened. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding K Altman Law. I initially paid a $500 consultation fee for a 30 minute meeting with attorney Keith Altman. I requested a Zoom meeting because I wanted to see and speak directly with the attorney who would potentially handle my case. A Zoom meeting was arranged only after I indicated that I would otherwise request a refund. During the consultation, I tried to explain my medical school dismissal and asked whether the firm genuinely believed it could help me. Mr. Altman repeatedly interrupted me and did not allow me to fully explain the situation. The scheduled 30 minute consultation ended in less than 15 minutes. He told me that he would take my case and represent me for $15,000. I made it clear that I did not come from money and could not afford to spend that amount unless the firm truly had a reasonable strategy. I sold my car and placed the remaining balance on a credit card because continuing medical school was extremely important to me. Before I received or reviewed a representation agreement, the firm contacted me multiple times requesting payment. After I paid the full $15,000, I received an agreement stating that much of the advocacy would be handled by a non-attorney, with an attorney becoming involved only if necessary. That was not my understanding of what Mr. Altman had represented during our Zoom meeting. When I questioned this difference and asked about a refund, I was told that work had already started and that I would receive only a partial refund if I ended the representation. At that point, I felt financially trapped and continued with the firm. My first non-attorney advocate, Barbara, was personally kind and professional. However, the initial letter to the school was drafted by a non-attorney, was not signed by an attorney, and required substantial edits and additions from me. The letter was sent to the school's general counsel, but it did not produce any meaningful response or progress. Barbara later left the firm, and my case was transferred to another non-attorney advocate, Robert Wright. Communication then became extremely poor. Responses sometimes took weeks, and I frequently did not know what was happening with my case. An attorney named Ms. Garcia was also assigned to the matter. When I asked questions, I was repeatedly told that she would need to research the issue and get back to me, but I often did not receive a follow-up. Throughout the representation, I did not receive a single substantive letter signed by an attorney and sent to the school. During my original consultation, Mr. Altman told me that he would first try to resolve the matter internally by arguing that dismissal was excessive for a first-time professionalism issue and requesting that the sanction be changed to probation. I also understood him to say that litigation could be considered if the school refused. This understanding was a major reason I agreed to pay $15,000. However, after payment was made, I never had another conversation with Mr. Altman. The most concerning part of the experience was the difference between what I believed I was agreed upon during the consultation and the service I received after payment. I believed I was hiring Mr. Altman and receiving direct attorney representation. Instead, most of my communication and advocacy were handled by non-attorney staff, and communication from the assigned attorney was limited and inconsistent. I later hired another law firm that did not charge me a consultation fee. That firm took the time to understand the facts, communicated clearly, and handled the situation in a much more professional and effective manner. My issue was ultimately addressed by a different firm.

As a local small business owner myself, I can certainly appreciate the power of any review. When I have a negative experience, I ALWAYS try to speak with the business owner and allow them to make things right before I would ever post something negative. So, I am sitting down to write this only after contacting this firm regarding my concerns on three separate occasions over the past 3 weeks. Each time, I left my name and contact info with the office staff, and each time, I was given the promise of an email and phone response by a specific date. Well, still no response. I think three weeks is certainly more than enough time. Lee was very responsive up until we paid our $5k retainer. Then he became the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain. We were passed on to Julia, another lawyer in the firm. Certainly nice, but we did not feel like she was really responsive, fighting for our case and was even perhaps a bit intimidated by the prosecuting attorney, basically suggesting we take whatever they were suggesting and not put up much of a fight. Extremely disheartening when we are talking about a case that will no doubt negatively impact the next 25+ years of an otherwise upstanding 19 yr old with his entire life ahead of him, who, in Lee's own words, "should not be defined by a single bad decision". This has been our very first and only experience with the whole criminal justice system, and has not been pleasant. Very little response from this firm, unless we initiated. Without going into too much detail, we were informed (by another lawyer not even on this case or from the Ciccarelli firm) that there was a bench warrant out for our son, and we would forfeit our $50k in bail because he failed to show up for a court hearing. Our attorney had told us he did not need to attend, yet failed to file the correct paperwork, causing the warrant to be issued. Lawyer blamed court; clerk of courts said lawyer called her, begging her to fix lawyer's mistakes, and that she (clerk) would fire lawyer if she were us. Not an easy, quick fix over the phone. Had to show up at courthouse first thing in A.M., ask to be seen by a judge to explain and hope judge will quash warrant and reinstate bail. Lee's firm sent yet another lawyer to represent, although he was only a consultant and not actually part of Lee's firm. Nice guy, but we did not ask for or need anyone to go with us really. The clerk of courts was extremely helpful and walked us through everything. We have since hired a new attorney, as we were continuously losing faith in the Ciccarelli firm over time. Had I received a response when I requested a break down of hours spent on our son's case, and an acknowledgement and listening ear from Lee regarding our experience, I would have not written this review. But I think it's important to share our experience for others considering hiring this firm, especially with them having lots of positive reviews out there as well. I'm glad others have had a positive experience, but sadly, ours was not and we would not hire them again nor would we recommend this firm.
