This latter issue being the most alarming by far. Documents had to be revised a number of times before they were viable, increasing costs. At settlement mailed large dollar value checks to recipients via regular mail (not registered, not certified, no signature required!). All of this 'service' for the 'discount' rate of $335./hour. Terrible experience so far after just 1 in person appointmen. after waiting over 3 weeks to meet…read morewith him. he comes into the room and basically brushed off everything i Told him about the pain and discomfort issues and told me PT will make the numb/tingling feeling go away. After I was already having for 5 weeks before my appointment and still experiencing the same issues. He told me it was a simple laceration and that I can go back to work and acted as if I was wasting his time or was exaggerating my symptoms which was very frustrating and unprofessional for the doctor to disregard everything I said after being out of work and mentally and physically suffering for over a month. so I began to ask him questions about her duration of the pain and numbness and why it's taking so long to heal? Also asked what happens if PT doesn't help the numbness and discomfor? his reply was "well it only happened a week ago and needs a little time for the swelling to go down and the feeling to come back". So that means the entire time he was evaluating and explaining to me it's just a simple laceratio, he was under the impression that the injury occurred 12/13 instead of the actual date of 11/13. Which I had to reiterate and plead with him that it's much more serious than just a simple laceration I also had to point out that he had the wrong date which is a full month later than he evaluated me for. So you would think he would go back to square one and reevaluate my injury and the progress of it but did absolutely nothing different other than sending me for a nerve test which should have been done in the first place and I am unable to schedule that testing until February 17 which will be over two months after the date of the injury occurred. I was very disappointed and unsatisfied with the thoroughness of the doctors evaluation. he was too worried about moving onto the next patient and rush through my appointment and questions I had for him and probably spent a total of 3 to 5 minutes with me until I was basically dismisse. The fact that the doctor thought the injury happened a week ago when in reality it was over a month ago from simply reading the wrong date on my paperwork and then refused to tell me anything different than what he already told me. looking into getting a second opinion now with someone who will hopefully have the time to give me a proper evaluation and not down play the seriousness of this injury that has kept me out of work for a month and a half now.
