She was wierd with MY PERSONAL information and my documents, I became so confused, frustrated and overwhelmed by the whole process and before that I learned that the 3 HIGHLY important appointments I made were NOT MADE even though a very sweet lady with short blonde hair that worked there originally made my 3 appointments for me because I can't receive the OTPs on my phone for whatever reason. So instead of trying to make it right the lady I got who was unhelpful, short, rude, wierd, and unkind to me tells me the next available appt isn't until 3-19 or I can go to Corsicana for a 3-02 appt! I said ma'am I CANT DO THAT bc if I get pulled over I'll be in trouble PLEASE HELP ME. She said, it's not gonna be today so do you want the 3-19 appt I said I guess I don't have a choice. When I asked for my ORIGINAL APPT paper back that's when the wierdness started. I asked for the supervisor and told her everything that was happening and she said, OH I am sure I can find you something sooner and got my personal phone number called me back when she said she would and if it wasn't for her I WOULD BE SO SAD and in a bad position! She was kind, understanding, helpful, caring, she was NOT BOTHERED or frustrated by me and she is amazing! She literally saved me and helped me out and even let me vent to her when she definitely didn't have to at all. She could've just walked away or anything to be honest. I don't know anyone else in my life or in this world that would've done what she did for me, she made our 3 appointments and even asked what dates and times I COULD DO and she made mine so I wouldn't be without a DL! Her name is Nicole Zamora and she is the best supervisor and human being EVER! The Waxahachie Pothole offers a full range of emotions: terror, regret, and then a strange sense of accomplishment. It's like a surprise party for your tires, except the party is hosted by gravity and asphalt neglect. Bonus points for the sound effects--it's like your car screams, "Why have you forsaken me?" in real time. For the full experience, I recommend hitting it at night, when it's camouflaged by the streetlights. Daylight encounters are fine too, but you miss the thrill of the element of surprise. And don't worry--if you get stuck, locals will be more than happy to charge you a tow fee while sharing their own pothole horror stories. Honestly, this pothole is a Waxahachie treasure. Sure, I lost a hubcap, but I gained a story to tell at every barbecue from now until eternity. 10/10, would hit again (mostly because I have no choice). I found that the accomodations were very vendor friendly, employees of the Civic Center really care and want to help you get to where you are going. The layout inside was great, as long as you were in the main hall. If you get placed in one of the separate rooms, you will be "Off the beaten path" of many of the attendees. The loudspeaker person continually reminds attendees that there are separate rooms and not to miss whats in them. We have been here twice now for this craft fair (Set up booths in both) and will continue to return as a vendor. Thank you Waxahachie Civic Center for a great experience.

Our reservation was canceled because they double booked the day and called it a "glitch". This is a mistake that should NEVER happen, especially for something as important as a wedding. What makes this even more frustrating is that the Lori (staff member) who we spoke with the day we reserved the venue was not helpful and came across as very rude. But, she sure was quick to take our deposit without knowing what was and wasn't available on their own schedule. No glitch there, huh? This situation shows a serious lack of organization and accountability. If you're managing bookings for MAJOR life events, you need to be fully aware of what is and isn't reserved before taking people's money. This was a completely avoidable mistake, and it caused unnecessary stress during what should be an exciting time. I strongly urge them to improve their booking system, communication, and staff so no one else has to go through this.
