I…read moreinitially took a number....got skipped by people who came after me multiple times....told the security guard I have been skipped and he just told me to take another number....so I can get skipped even more, instead of telling the workers "hey she has been skipped". Then I finally got called by an African American female and she had the worst attitude ever. Not only she did not wanna help me at all, her question was "you live in Newburgh, why the hell are you in Kingston?" Excuse me for not going to the closest social security office by my house....I used to go to school in New Paltz si figured I could just go to Kingston instead after school.....which is none of her freaking business. After all the rude treatment, she still did not wanna help me or simply stupid that she was unable to deal with my case, she deferred me to someone else. I got called by a Caucasian femlae and she was super nice and got done what needed to be done in a matter of 5 minutes...she was the saving grace of this office.

Every single time I call, she argues very rudely about my question and gives the absolute wrong information with the snottiest attitude each and every time. It's almost like she just loves to cause problems for people purposely. I finally told her off recently and she sure shut up then. Don't take crap from that asshole. Just because she hates her job doesn't mean she should get away with being a complete bitch.

The acts themselves were great -the venue embarrassing. Came out smelling like the greasy food being sold as the doors were left open for all the smells. Note- No phones in court, even if turned off…read more Getting in is a little confusing since the lobby is so small. When you walk in it looks like you can just walk to the metal detector and go in, but there is usally a long line to the right that snakes around. Once inside you sit and wait to meet with the prosecutor to hopefully settle. This court will call you in based on the time you arrived, so go early as there are usually lots of people. With a clean record they made an offer of no points, or at least with my step son they did. Once agreed, you wait for the judge to actually take your plea, so there's more waiting. Whole process took us 2.5 hours. Once plea is taken, you go out to the window in the lobby to pay. $275 later (including court costs) it was over. They are pretty well organized, especially given the number of people, but they could be a little more forthcoming with the process so you know what's going on as you are there. But all in all it was an ok experience.

So after waiting for them to send me back a one day self addressed envelope from UPS that I paid…read more$65 for it took them 14 days to send off my receipt with ups one day shipping. That envelope sat on her desk for 13 days before she send it off. Now I got a mail 4 weeks later saying that they still waiting for payment. Bunch of jokers and time wasters after all that I went thru went these jokers 4 weeks later they sending me a letter the same letter ask them to send me with my receipt they couldn't do it. When I ask them if I can pay online they said no or over the phone, but this time I can call and use my credit card to these people are really something else. Thank god I know people who could have help me out so I could be back on the road or else would be still sitting down waiting waiting 2 months for a receipt jokers
