And…read moreI must say I have never seen such blatant disregard for human life like I witnessed over the course of these past few days. Upon my arrival, I was put into a cell that had USED feminine products and wrappers strewn across the floor. It was only after I screamed my displeasure at their lack of cleanliness that I was moved to another room. This next room wasnt much better, as there were dried globs of spit all over the floor and walls. After a day and a half, I was given the opportunity to get a shower. I jumped at the chance to get a "warm" shower and hopefully pass some time sleeping good. Nope.. the water couldn't have been more than 65°, it was freezing. I literally jumped in and jumped out. The food there is horrendous. I refused to eat a single thing during my stay. But the meals I looked at were worse for wear. Serving a soft shell tortilla with a dollop of peanut butter for breakfast should be a crime in itself. Trying to use the phone to make a call? Good luck. Everytime I asked I was refused. I was there over 24 hours before being allowed my ONE call to make contact with my concerned family. I asked early in the day to speak to a chaplain prior to my departure and was told he would come down and make contact with me. I really had hoped to have someone pray with me before I left. After hours passed I asked again and was told he was not a full-time employee, that he was not there. Why they couldnt just say that to begin with is unbeknownst to me. Let's be real here: its jail, not the Hyatt. But all I could keep thinking about in there was this... Yes, people make mistakes, we are all only human. But that doesn't mean they are not worthy of your dignity and respect. They do the absolute bear minimum to sustain inmates in there. I honestly think an animal in a shelter would get better treatment than what I received. My requests and questions went unanswered, the staff was incredibly rude. I think I can see why they are though, as I'm sure they use the more "trim" officers in the field and leave the fatties for the desk work. I'd be salty too. Whatever your crime, you had better hope you dont get arrested in Elkhart, IN!

This meant absolutely nothing to them they cared little of that answer and continue to harass me three of them did this I only needed to show them that I wasn't suicidal and there was no concern however they didn't give a s*** that I wasn't not suicidal they just wanted to try to bust me for something that they thought I was doing I had taken my Seroquel that night because I was ready to go to sleep at 10:00 this pissed me off then they barged into my house even though I tried to shut the door and tell him they were not allowed in without a search warrant. Very unprofessional I felt attacked from the moment I started talking to them I am skeptical and scared of these police.

Our whole family went and we had so much fun walking around checking out the lights and getting pics together. I'd love to see them keep adding on every year, and also love that profits go towards charity as well. We will for sure be coming back in the summer to see the gardens.

A Butterfly Valve with a handwheel Actuator, a quarter turn ball valve and a Non Rising Stem Gate valve. All donated and installed on copper pipe by Nibco Valve. A superior learning display. WOW about 7 trains in 40 minutes went through the Amtrak station which is a great amount of trains in such a short time. This is a great spot for train watching.
