My Visit There was very quick. I was only in there for about 30 minutes. Service was great.

They need to hire people. It's by appointment only now, yet I still waited 1 hour to be seen. Number 9-22 were not available.. so there's potential for so many people to be working there instead of people just waiting and waiting. This was just as bad as the location in riverside. Also, came for a SS for my son and they ask for two forms of ID. Mind you, he's only 3 months. So I couldn't get it. They make it so complicated for parents. Instead of making things better and letting things flow well, it seems like they like to make things hard for people. read more

The officers were very professional & helpful.... You get in line talk to a rep at the first window they assign you a number you wait to be called..... total time was about 1 1/2 hrs.. I'm not sure why they get bad reviews everyone was friendly and helpful... Parking is a breeze... I went right after lunch there was no long line outside maybe 3 people in ahead of me.... worst experience here. sent to get a bank account w no documents provided from the office. when I arrived at my 12pm appt today I wasn't seen until 2pm when I had to go up to a window and speak up abt it. then I went through the whole process she asked me legit the same questions 3-4 times like she forgot. when I told her I brought all doc requested except for the bank account because they want the award letter she said oh yea mostly all banks require that I just wanted to see if they would open you and acct...... then I finish and she scheduled me for mon. to bring in the bank acct. still failing to tell me in the documents she gave me will not be an award letter because it is not a same day document. I go to the bank w the documents she provided me and wants the bank acct by Monday, they still tell me these documents are not an award letter and they are not understanding why they keep sending me in the bank laking the proper documents. completely done w this office and read more

When I went to the Moreno Valley office, she made the process quick and seamless. Very very unprofessional and absolutely do not like to help . I sensed a little prejudice vibe towards me while at this location. Even dealing with my religious beliefs and practices. They tried to make my experience and process very difficult even though I had every document asked for., I still did not receive the proper or adequate help from either of the staff members. I asked to speak with a supervisor and did not receive a supervisor but yet another staff representative who tried to over talk me and undermine my process. I repeatedly asked for a supervisor. My reason for visiting this location has not been resolved or addressed as of yet ? There was absolutely no reason other than they were eager to get off of work so they wanted to play the waiting game in hopes that I would just leave on my own. The first receptionist was very rude and exhibiting an attitude as if my presence made her skin crawl, very disrespectful towards my spiritual beliefs and when I asked for a supervisor she shelved my documents back under the glass forcefully. She responded with my number will be called again shortly by the supervisor who never answered or showed up but yet another agent. This agent after speaking with the other one tried to mislead me in my direction and lied to my face about the process not knowing I'm very familiar with the procedure to be taken . I have not received any response or information regarding my situation. I have video and voice recordings of the entire conversation. I will be visiting this location again to further make my case and more documentation for legal action against this agency. This is not how a federal government agency is supposed to operate or treat individuals looking to conduct business in the private or public . Please understand there will be action taken for discrimination against individuals religious and spiritual beliefs. Thank you and see you all soon read more

The gentleman that I spoke to is very good at explaining what I needed to know and even took the time to print out helpful flyers for me. The wait is not that long. That's what the 5 stars is for. The lady receptionist who I spoke first to inquire is really rude. She keeps on cutting me off as I told her what I'm there for. I even made it clear to her what I am inquiring and she is just not answering my questions and seems like she was rushing to get to as much people in the line. But today in this good office, Esmeralda showed compassion and time with her job. She didn't just brush us off she actually took the time and effort and accommodate us with what we came in for. I was in the hospital from 12/14/2019- 12/29/2019 and the ER/ICU lost my wallet, with my SS & CADL cards inside. I went to SSA MoVal to get a replacement SS card on 01/04/2020. I'd gone to DMV on 01/02/2020 for a replacement CADL, and received a temporary one. I showed the SSA rep my temporary CADL and answered many questions. She told me my replacement SS card would arrive in 7-10 days. During the 2nd week of February, curious about the status of my SS card, I called them. The gentleman told me that a paper temporary CADL was not sufficient and that a pictured CADL was required. I WONDER WHY THE CLERK didn't inform me of this on 01/04/2020 and told me it would arrive in the above timeframe! FOR YOUR SSA VISIT, DON'T GO WITHOUT PROPER ID. read more

Please ignore the other bad ratings. I told my daughters that when people complain, they probably were mostly at fault and the happy people never leave feedback. I am one of the happy ones who had a GREAT experience. Me and my daughter went in for name changes. We dealt with three employees. One at the door, one who gave us our numbers and one who handled our transaction. Each was pleasant and helpful and very professional. It was quick and seamless. The building was clean and cool on the hot day. I told my daughters I would not be a happy customer who fails to leave feedback. I give high praise to the Moreno Valley Social Security Office. Few people in line and attended to rapidly and even assisted when what we went for was not available yet. SSN for immigrants, they want to work, pay taxes and do everything right. Not like some who come and buy fake ID working under someone else SSN. But they were told they had to wait and given more information. read more

The claims specialist at this office is so wonderful. They have gone above and beyond to help through a tough situation and the customer service is beyond belief. Everyone there has been kind from the security guard that greets you at the door to the first window that checks you in. The claim specialist has followed up on my case and made sure it has gone through properly. The facility is clean and comfortable and they have several windows open so the numbers get called pretty quickly. I would highly recommend this location for anyone who needs to visit a social security office. read more

If I could I would give a negative stars . All I needed was a ssc for my daughter . From security guard to the desk window all personnel extremely rude. Called first to see what info I needed . Got to the building to tell me that none of my paperwork was acceptable (Birth certificate, paternity paperwork , insurance card , ext. ) all this paperwork had her bday except the insurance card . Very quick service as a walk-in. Lady in the front was very helpful and super nice. They have a clean woman's restroom and very few people waiting. Was told numbers get called out of order. Only waited a short while and got called. Next window lady was very helpful and super nice. Went in today 01/22/2019 and holy damn the african american guy with glasses in window 8 woke up on the wrong side of the bed, sooooo freaking rude. Needed a ss replacement as i lost mine i was in and out in about 20 min. Not kidding.

Because most offices of this nature have long lines and take you half the day to get your business done, I got there an hour or so before opening. When the doors opened about 6-10 people were let in at a time. After getting in the wait was long, thank God for Pinterest! Not sure if the issue is that they are understaffed, but several windows were not open. With a room full of customers I feel the wait should not be as long, and management should put staff on those unopened windows to serve customers quicker. It is a clean and organized SS location. read more

I called to ask a question and employee was extremely rude and condescending, for no apparent reason.

On 6/12/20 @9:25am I call this office to request a change of case worker or if we can move my parent case back to San Bernardino office because that's where they live. This all happened because I the payee reported address change. I the payee moved not the disabled parties. The worker who handled my parents case lied in a letter sent on June 6th that we missed our phone interview on April 15th instead of stating a system error d/t covid.. this phone interview was not missed ..my phone record shows an incoming coming call from SSA # that lasted over 30 min long..when I questioned why it was written as a missed interview on my part and not on the system because these are legal documents that can be taken to court..it was brushed off by another staff member and assistant of the office supervisor who said the letter was generated by someone else..huh??..Still have not gotten word back from the actual supervisor. One particular staff member got into a verbal scream match on the phone with me. I was in a waiting room at kaiser next to a conference room and had to put her on speaker to get documents in my file. Colleagues overheard the staff ask me my occupation and tells me she feels sorry for my patients and I told her I felt sorry for myself for having to deal with incompetent ppl like her and that this was very unprofessional of her. I have all the names dates and hopefully SSA recorded the conversation as they state in the intro of phone calls. This is the worse office. They lie, they are rude, they falsify statements on their documentations. I am seeking legal guidance in this situation. Remember always record date times and names of staff members. They shouldn't get away with this, their job is to assist the community and service are citizens!!! read more

This was the first time coming here I had no appointment to change my last name. The bad thing I had to be at 7:30am to be the first group in the front . Such a long wait standing for them to open at 9am. People brought chairs to sit, if I knew they did I would've brought mine. They opened the doors at 8:45am way before they open! It was perfect! I got in got a number waited like 5min and got called changed info in 3min and out I was! I do recommend to get there early. read more

Overall this place is much nicer and cleaner than the other office I've been to (Hemet). I went for a name change and was dreading Hemet so I figured I would try this location. The line to get my number moved quickly. There is a decent amount of seats inside and it really was very clean. The crowd was decent as well. I did wait two houses (arrived a little after 9) and when I got to the window, it only took maybe 2 minutes. The lady was nice and quick. If you're choosing between Riverside, Hemet and this location- go here! Even the security guard was kind and helpful. As a note- when I left around 11:30, it seemed much slower. Perhaps the crowds go first thing in the morning. One star off just for the extreme wait times. read more
