For something very robotic and repetitive they have shown lots of care and appreciation for the Juror's Time. For myself, I'm missing lots of overtime pay even though my job pays for my time here but as the hardworking know, it won't be put on top of the regular hours to count as overtime for the week. But all in all, as an American citizen, it's the least thing I could do for serving because there are actual in-danger people serving out there for the US and I'm sure they still complain about their pay as we do in the cities/towns.... honestly the speakers intermission in-between were so funny!!

My experience at this courthouse, particularly while observing proceedings before Judge Yang, left…read moreme deeply concerned about fairness and impartiality. From what I personally witnessed, it felt as though the scales of justice were tipped heavily toward one side. During the proceedings, the prosecution appeared to receive more consideration, while certain matters the defense attempted to address were shut down. At one point, when the defense attempted to discuss information concerning the victim, Judge Yang stated, "we're not bringing that up." I understand that Judge Yang may have had legal or evidentiary reasons for limiting what could be discussed, and I am not claiming that any laws or ethical rules were violated. I can only speak about what I personally witnessed and how the proceedings appeared to me as an observer. Regardless of which side of a case someone is on, a courtroom should leave the public confident that both sides were heard and treated fairly. Unfortunately, my experience in Judge Yang's courtroom did not leave me with that confidence. The scales of justice should feel balanced for everyone. Contreras didn't get a fair trial. Victims family works at this court house!

Yesterday I made an appointment for today at 1330 hours. I was given outstanding service from the Navy Police Officer, the Gate Sentry Officer and the ID Officer. They all were polite and treated me with upmost respect. I was seen on time. No waiting. I had to show two forms of ID. I showed my CA DL and VA ID and was issued a new Military ID instantly. I highly recommend anyone authorized a Military ID and needing a new one to make an appointment and go to Norco Det at 1999 Fourth Street, Bldg 502. Just enter , go straight thru the double doors and sign in at pass and ID immediately to the left and then on the right. You will receive outstanding service. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Thank you Navy!

Since we got here right when they opened, there was a bit of a backup as there was only one security guard manning the check in area. I do commend him in terms of the thoroughness in checking bags, etc. I know some people in line were a little annoyed about the speed as he required that all zippered pouches be opened, which in my case was like 10 different compartments in my backpack as well as my electronics case for my computer equipment. Still not a big deal as im sure my clients understand the protocols and didnt mind that we started a few minutes late to get everyone through.

After he was told to leave my house the inspector told my contractor he was going to fail the inspection. Not only did he fail us he put a hold on our project. File a complaint you get an email back saying he spoke to him but after that all we have gotten is screwed over on appointments for a final inspection. If you are going to do any projects on your house in the county of riverside you are better off not pulling permits. Just do the job and if you get caught ask for forgiveness later
