They are so unprofessional. They listen to music, watch their dodgers game and talk about their 401k. Nobody cares. Be professional.

We grew up within biking distance of the base and our mom would take us to the airshows when we…read morewere young, so when I found out there were airshows again, I jumped at the chance. Even though we grew up with military IDs since one of our parents served, we no longer have them as adults, so it's a great way to get back on the base with the rest of the public who can finally see what it looks like inside. Meanwhile, for my sister and me, it brought back floods of memories. The airshow itself is fairly well organized, but there are some things that need to be improved. There were plenty of porta potties all around the edges, although the wash stations tended to lack water so we'd get stuck with soap on our hands with nothing to wash it away with. There were plenty of water fountains towards the chain link fence, but the announcer made it confusing by saying they were by the ramps. I looked at the map inside the program booklet and didn't see a ramp anywhere, nor were the water fountains on the map. I had to ask around to finally find them. Another thing that was confusing was the rules said no water bottles unless in a sealed bottle, but I saw plenty of people with them anyway. The rules should be amended to "Water bottles ok as long as empty. Fill up inside." There were food trucks although I wish there was more variation besides chicken and waffles and sausages, like international food and vegetarian options would've been nice. The airshow itself was amazing. Even when we were stuck outside the gates in a long line of cars trying to get inside, we could already see planes flying. Some people even opted to just park outside of the base, tailgate, and watch the show from the nearby gas stations and convenience stores. Getting to drive and park on one of the runways was also cool. It makes you realize just how big the runways are since there must have been thousands of cars parked on it. We got used to watching so many stunt planes tumbling, stalling, diving, and looping that when it was time to go home and we saw a plane, it was kind of a let down. It was like "Oh, it's just a regular plane." It's a great way to spend a sunny spring weekend, but I highly recommend dressing for hot weather, bringing umbrellas, chairs, and water bottles. Like it was so hot that so many people were hiding under the shade of the huge wings of the planes on display, which in itself is pretty cool and unique. Update: I just learned that where we parked our cars is called the "ramp" not the runway, so when the announcer said the free water was "by the ramp" technically we were already on it.

As a lover of libraries, I love taking trips to libraries whenever I can and also get new library…read morecards. Considering that this library is fairly new (dedicated in August 2020,)I knew I had to stop by for a visit to check it out. Before entering the library, I noticed signage in front that face masks are required to enter the library. Before entering the library, I also noticed chalk art in front of the library's entrance promoting their summer reading program which is currently going on. Upon entering the library, I immediately noticed the self checkout station to the left as well as a library catalog computer to the right of the entrance. The layout of the library is smart in that there's clear signage so the visitor knows where everything is. I liked that there is seating which is separated and private. There is also a standing hand sanitizer dispenser so visitors can clean their hands during their time at the library. I feel it was a smart design choice to have an all genders bathroom versus separated bathrooms for men and women as well as have a water fountain with a water bottle refilling station. After browsing the library shelves, I approached the information desk to obtain a library card. The staff member who assisted me was friendly and efficient. Once the employee confirmed my address, asked for my phone number as well as asking how I want to be notified for library things (text, email, phone,) she quickly created my library card, informed me of my library PIN number and told me to have a nice day. This library is a great addition to Moreno Valley and I can't wait to visit the library again soon to fully utilize the variety of services and resources they offer.

Let me start by saying that initially he was…read morevery helpful, and nice and he allowed my child to do two mock test prior to taking the real test. Academics has never been her thing so she was behind the eight ball. We rushed the process because there was a bonus being offered if you joined by a specific date. That was that was the downfall of her father and I. However, the issue was not encountered until she went to take her real asvab test. We met with him in his office on Monday and he said that based on her scores she would not qualify for many jobs. We were hoping that when she went out on Thursday she was score a little bit higher and that did not happen. We informed him that we wanted her to study more and retake the test and 30 to 60 days. He took him on himself to tell her that it was unlikely that she was going to score any higher and that if she did not except a job that she qualified for in that moment that he was not going to work with her any longer. I explained to him that he needs to make the decision that it's best for him, and she needs to make the decision that is best for her. Now I understand that everybody works within quotas. This gentleman is young and I believe he is new to recruiting, and I also believe that his tactics are poor. This is almost a bullying type technique. Yes you put in several hours working with us sending us the emails and doing the paperwork. But that is your job. I DO NOT feel like it is a recruiters position to tell someone that they are incapable of studying any longer and scoring any higher and this is the best you can do. I know several people who recently retired and they all agreed his conduct was unacceptable but not uncommon because making their numbers is their biggest motivation to keep their cushy office job lol. My daughter study time was approximately four weeks and we had a lot of bases to cover. Now she will find another recruiter and take this test again in a months or 2. If she test the same, I will rescind this review because he will have been correct.
