Well... on my way to meet him, I hit a HUGE POT HOLE and my tire was just torn to shreds down to the rim. Well I have a Cadillac SUV... its a big car and to be honest I usually am not the one who is cha changing tires..... I believe the officers name on his badge was "Smith"God bless him and his family for all he does , an I have heard alot of negative feed back about hamtrack but this officer went out of his way to change my tire start to finish.. I love it and I really feel blessed for the officers that are out there for us God bless you all thx again!

Having moved from California, I was nervous that the DMV experience in Michigan might be around the same. Thankfully, it was such a pleasant experience and it was nothing like California -- which is a disaster and you spend an average of 4 hours there to just get a new license! I told everyone back in California how PAIN-LESS this trip was. Many of them were wishing they could experience the same .... but that will never happen. Lastly, book an appointment. It's SO EASY online. I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment. They took me right at my appointment time. How professional and responsible is that?! Highly recommend this location and I plan to return should I need to in the near future.

Unfortunately, my experience at this Hamtramck location was extremely disappointing. The employee I dealt with, Tina, was dismissive and unhelpful from the beginning. I asked a simple question about getting a label, and instead of assisting, she made the process unnecessarily difficult and confusing. I was told I needed to purchase tape, was charged for it, and never even received it. When I asked for a receipt, she did not provide one. At that point, I decided I didn't feel comfortable continuing the transaction. I asked for a supervisor, and the number I was given did not work. When I requested that she contact a supervisor directly, she refused. Another employee nearby did not step in to help resolve the situation either. Instead of trying to fix the issue, I was ultimately told they would not ship my package after already taking payment. The situation escalated further when I was threatened with the police over a situation that should have been handled professionally from the start. Given the volume of shipments we handle every month, reliability and professionalism are extremely important to us. Because of this experience, we will not be using this location moving forward and will be taking our business to another shipping facility. This library was fantastic. I recently visited here because I was trying to track down some old…read morehigh school yearbooks for the area of my family members. My first encounter was by fb messenger asking if they carried any and they got back to me almost right away. When I visited the staff was extremely helpful with getting the items I needed. The experience overall was fantastic from start to finish and the women that helped me gave me even more suggestions of places to go in the area to track down more about my families history.

The DIS is a beautiful community center remodeled from a old grade school…read more The campus is nestled inside of a residential community on the west side of Detroit. The space is filled with nonprofit businesses offering much needed community resources. There is also a gym space, a renovated swimming pool area, which unfortunately no longer houses a pool, but it is now a cool rental space. There's also a convenience store, a Toarmina's Pizza, a community laundry space and a cool arcade inside. I've visited on a number of occasions as the agency I work for has remote offices in the space, offering various resources for the community. It's also a great place to network and meet other Detroiters. The parking lot is sizable and the building is managed by a great company and is secured with guards, inside and out.
