My next run-in was when a crazy man decided the best way to handle almost cutting off our car was to get out of his screaming and acting all crazy. The last time was when they blocked off the roads to our home on the 4th of July without telling us they were going to do so. On all these occasions my experience with the Bloomingdale Police was very good (ok, maybe not the night we were trying to get home and couldn't because they had blocked off the street, but I'll take that as a one-off experience). On the other two occasions the officers I dealt with were helpful and informative. The officer who was at the scene when my car was hit even showed up in court to make sure I was taken care of and the guy who hit me was taken care of. All in all, I am a fan of the Bloomingdale Police.

After dealing with officer Lewis I'm glad I will probably never see him again. I was shopping at TJ Maxx and came out to his flashing lights. The woman said your car door hit mine. The officer said there was my color paint on her car even though my car had no paint loss. Officer Lewis said we were guilty and he would testify against me in court. As it turns out this woman coincidentally has a family member in a body shop that they have to get the work done there. We paid out of pocket to keep our insurance rates down. $1000 later we settled the claim Smells like a scam to me. But you can bet next time I'm in Bloomingdale if the car next to me has any marks I'm moving my car.

Honestly way worse than some of the smaller town cops. A friend recently moved out of this town since they allow multiple families (like 3 to 4) to reside in one single family home. Like 6 cars in driveway, etc. Reading other reviews, they weren't the only ones with this issue. Maybe focus less on small traffic violations and more on cleaning up your neighborhoods.

I missed the delivery, and scheduled a redelivery online for the next business day (Monday). I also put in a request that they leave the package at my apartment complex rental office since it is staffed and I didn't want to miss delivery while I was at work. On Monday, online tracking showed it was "Out for delivery," so I rushed home and stayed there and waited..and waited. My package ever showed. At 6pm, I called the (800) number to try and figure out why my package wasn't delivered. I was on hold for an HOUR (the recording stated a 20-40 minute wait for a representative) and no one ever picked up. Grrr. Needless to say, I ended up pretty frustrated. Today (Tuesday) I called the Bloomingdale USPS and spoke to someone (woman) about it. She apologized about the redelivery error, but also explained that *I* had to sign for the package. (Ugh.) She was very nice though. I went to USPS this evening to pick up the package. While I was waiting with my baby, he started fussing. A woman came out of the office to see him and interact with him. She ended up asking me if I was picking up a package, and then went to the back to locate it for me. She took the big bag I had brought (to carry it..it's hard to juggle a carseat and big box!) with her. That was so nice!!! She even asked the employee to help me to my car. I did NOT expect that kind of service from anyone, much less at USPS where customer service doesn't usually seem like a top priority. She totally made my day, though, by making things easier for me! I wish I got her name!

However, I did, unfortunately, need to turn to them at the beginning of the year for a more serious matter. To protect and respect the privacy of all those involved in the matter I won't get into details of the situation. This review is based upon my direct dealings with the officers and staff only. I found the officers and staff to be very responsive to my needs and showed their caring and compassion for my well-being while maintaining the utmost professionalism. I am truly thankful for all the help they gave me when I needed it most.

I found the building to be clean, bright, and modern. Our friend was sworn in, then the meeting recessed to celebrate with cake and coffee. Talking with staff and trustees was pleasant as everyone seemed very friendly and excited to do the work of governing. Congratulations to our friend and the Village of Streamwood who is getting an excellent citizen as its newest trustee!

Village of Roselle gets 'er done!…read more Every time I stop by village hall I receive speedy service, thorough answers, and polite personnel. Even when I have to call in I am routed to a live human being lick-ity-split! They also offer extended hours a few days of the weeks for us 'working folk.' Also, they try to keep the citizens of Roselle involved and informed. They have regular 'coffee chats' where the people of Roselle are welcomed to come and share their opinions and discuss matters regarding the village. I am looking forward to attending one someday....

Much is owned to suburb villages like Glendale Hts, surrounding villages and school systems. The Glendale Hts. is much more about families, with parks every where and events through the year for young and old. The attorney Peter tried shutting down my speaking but guess what it's not your meeting. This issue is now over unless trustee number 5 runs again. I also brought up inquiring about if the village received any of the $5 million from Dupage county earmarked for Park districts and fire departments. I was told no regarding park districts because we dont have one. This was abolished by the previous administration. We have 2 fire districts and couldn't get an answer to their portion. Remember our parks have been running at a deficit for years but with the new administration we seem to be heading in a better direction.
