I wish they had a 0 stars choice. I was on hold for 91 minutes to order a form that I needed to cancel Medicare Part B. When i got it, it was double printed with a ghost of another form overlayed on top of it. The self addressed stamped envelope to return it in was not icluded as promised. When I tried to take the blank form out of the envelope, it was stuck to the paper like glue and it tore. I filled it out anyhow and had to call again to get an address for mailing it back. Now its been 8 days since I mailed it and it has not been processed . I hope they keep the government shut down forever - who needs it. read more

If there was a zero rating available, I would select it. I signed up for medicare Part A & B and social security (retirement) prior to my 65th birthday. I have yet to receive a SS check, and the amount of the monthly payment and the payment for Part B continues to change. I have called and documented my calls each time. I completed paperwork for an adjustment, mailed in November and still have not heard anything back from the office. I tried to set up a meeting for an in-person visit, but based on my responses to their questions, a in-person visit was deemed not necessary. I am a retired federal worker, and this office is a freakin joke. One representative told me that issued a penalty for 9 months because I did not sign up for Medicare. I told him, I just turned 65 two months ago, and you know I had 3 months before and 3 months after to sign up for Part B. How can you penalize someone who just turned 65. Oh, I have to talk to a supervisor. I have never seen incompetence at this level before in my life. Today, I spent an hour holding, then the phone clicked. It was 4 pm., so I guess the local branch closes at 4 pm. Freakin unbelievable the service you get these days. read more

Great service, I completed my application online for my name change due to being newly married. I was worried but the security guard was friendly, waited about 40 minutes and was out after less than 10 minutes at the counter. This office is fast, fast, and fast compared to several hours at other locations. Have documents ready & parking is limited. read more

Ignorant worker. We went to get a social security card for our infant son who is adopted, waited for hours just to be told that the certified adoption decree was not an acceptable form of identification for him. Even though the page the lady gave us of acceptable forms of ID clearly says *adoption decree*. Her reasoning was that the baby's name and date of birth are on separate pages. What kind of a stupid reason is that? It very clearly states at the end of page 2 that that is the end of the document. Shouldn't they accept the full document?!?! So now I wasted 4 hours of my day and have a crying baby for no reason just because the worker lady didn't even know what she was talking about. She was at booth 4 today but said that she usually works at booth 7. I didn't catch her name but tomorrow when I got back you best bet I'm reporting her. read more

I had to visit twice and both times I was treated by a team of friendly and professional people just trying to do their best. The second visit I waited for two hours but that is because of the amount of people that were there. The security guard was a gem. Keep up the good work. read more

I have been trying to get into contact with this Social Security office for over a month! Due to COVID, they are still not offering in-person services, which is completely understandable! I followed their mail-in services, as advised to do online. They denied my request via mail and DID NOT send back one of the important documents that I sent in for verification. I have called every day for the past couple weeks... only to be left with the phone ringing for over an HOUR every single time. This is completely unacceptable and this delay is causing major inconvenience. Not to mention, my loss of legal documents. I would NOT recommend this facility at all!! read more

Would not recommend, they had me on the phone just ringing for an hour which is fine you know but when I go up there to ask a question one of the ladies came and had an attitude, so me being the person I am was going to walk away until she did a hand motion to leave and said I'm not going to argue with you! I just laughed and walked away, I didn't know that's how professionals act. If you don't want to help people why would you even work there? Anyway I would not recommend this place. read more

I made an appointment via phone, took approximately 20 minutes for an agent to respond. The appointment was requested and the received confirmation via text and email two days later. The location was easily accessible, I-635. Parking easy. There was a security guard to politely ask if I had an Appt and requested to see ID. Within 15 minutes I was in to talk to agent Zack. He was most courteous and personable. The facility was very Covid compliant. The only people leaving unhappy were those who failed to make an appointment. Overall, pleasant experience. read more

Came in to this location to do a replacement card. I was the third person in the office right after they opened. A staff member helped get me signed in and I was called to an agent in literally one minute! I was help efficiently and was in and out of the office with all my information processed within 5 minutes total. Wow, great service! read more

with all of the negative reviews, i was extremely nervous to visit this office and prepared myself to be in line all-day long. to my surprise, my visit here was extremely pleasant! initially, i was annoyed because the line at 8:30am on a Tuesday was wrapped around the building, but the officer kept things moving rather quickly! what i thought would be an all-day endeavor was only about an hour long (30-35 minutes of actual waiting, as the office didn't open until 9am!) the lady at station 3 was extremely helpful in assisting me with my name change and congratulated me on my marriage. she was not rude whatsoever. the lines inside were moving so fluidly, i was very impressed. the officer was very kind to people going in and out. i would definitely come back! read more
