His passion for photography is evident and he works relentlessly to capture the right shots at different spots, with great light, mood, and expression. We shot family photos under challenging conditions with high winds in San Francisco and the sun casting shadows on the Painted Ladies at Alamo Square (location was my idea). Spencer had scouted the area previously and suggested a playground around the corner until the light was optimal in front of the Victorians. He also was an ace at keeping our 10-month old engaged, happy, and smiling (he is a dad himself). We appreciated his patience and fluidity. In the editing phase, he clearly chose the best photos of the batch and did a fabulous job with edits. I'd highly recommend him and would use him again. His photos are on our Xmas card and will make the Grandmas very happy!
