Vickie Clevenger is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Missouri. She had a piece of…read moreproperty for sale that her and her husband owned. When I talk to her on the phone, she told me that the house had leaks in the basement. She directed me to meet her husband at the House house to look at the house for purchasing. I straight out asked Jerry Clevenger with a witness there. Where are the leaks in the basement? Jerry was very convincing and said many times that it was coming through the basement door. After purchasing the house the next day it rained. and there were leaks coming through the foundation! I talked to Jerry Clevenger and he told me that he had repainted the basement walls two months ago. He tried many tactics saying he doesn't live here full-time and then he had the audacity to turn around and say he had no paint done on the house in two years. This is all in black-and-white so I replied to his comment hours earlier that he had painted the basement 2 to 3 months earlier Vickie let him handle the sale and I believe it was because she is a real estate agent, and she knows by law she has to disclose the truth about the foundation walls and not let her husband misrepresent to me that the water getting in the basement was coming from the back door. Very disappointed and frustrated that Vickie is a licensed real estate agent and allowed this to happen. they basically did a bait and switch on me now I'm stuck with a house that has foundation leaks!
