The process was extremely easy and went a lot faster than I anticipated. We got an over asking price offer and closed within 37 days. The house was only on the market for 2 days. I am happy the process is over but it was extremely easy and pain free. I would definitely work with Keisha and Murrell Home Reality if I choose to buy again!

She went above and beyond in helping us understand the process, our legal documents, and the things we should be aware of when buying a home. She went all around the KC area while we were indecisive on where to live. The home we closed on was perfect for our tastes and Mary knew that after observing and suggesting homes within our personal preference. Even after we moved in, Mary followed up with us and asked how our inspections and move in went, and gave us advice on what we needed at this stage in early home ownership. She is a wonderful and friendly face during an otherwise daunting process.

It was an off market home and we were only able to get it because of her connections. Could not have asked for a better experience. She was always available to answer my questions and I had lots. I was a first time home buyer and she made me feel so confident in my decision. We've been in our home a few months and are so happy with how our house buying process went. We had some difficulties with our lendor and she was there every step of the way to help mediate the situation and reassure me that we would get through it. Thanks to Jim we've purchased two houses and have sold one of them…read more First off... Jim knows everyone. In our search for both homes (2011 and 2016) he knew the moment that a house was posted for sale or about to hit market just from word of mouth. In today's world, that gave us a huge buying advantage. Plus, after searching through what seemed like thousands of photos online, the moment that my wife and I saw a property that we wanted to see in-person, we'd toss Jim a quick text message and 99.9% of the time we had a message back saying... "booked it". Once we would arrive at a property, Jim would immediately walk off to inspect the most common issues such as foundation, roof, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc. So while my wife and I would be in awe of the beautiful kitchen cabinets or updated appliances, Jim was focused on the attributes that mattered. And this came in handy multiple times during the negotiation process... such as the rotted tree that we had cut down. And I'll tell you, the same attention to detail also came when selling our home. Jim knows what buyers are looking for. He'll give you his honest opinion when it comes to refreshing your paint colors, cleaning up house clutter, cleaning windows, etc. He did everything that he could to help us earn top dollar for our home in Prairie Village, KS. If you can't tell by my review, I highly recommend Jim Kraus. He'll walk through walls for you as you look for your dream property. Drop him an email or phone call, you won't regret it.

We hired this realtor as our Selling Agent. His people skills are subpar. He spends no time with…read moreyou as a client. He told us to list our house for 136,000 in the current market. I told him that is what I paid for the house five years ago. We will list the home for $157300. What do you know, I was write, upon being listed on the MLS, we had a buyer make an offer for $157300 three hours later. No thanks to Taner, he did nothing. I spent 2.5 hours with the buyer. But through the whole month process. Taner was invisible. I cannot believe I even had to pay him. Taner will never call you by phone. He will either text you or facebook messenger you. You will never speak to him again after signing the contract. SO don't sign the contract with him. When the offer came in, with a deadline of 5 pm on it, there were things I did not agree to on it. We frantically tried to get ahold of our realtor to ask questions. WE texted, facebook messaged, called and left voice mails, emailed him, every way possible, but he just ignored us for the entire day. He should know as a Realtor, that when an offer comes in that the seller is going to have questions and should make himself available. Then after all the inspections were performed, there was only one repair request, that buyer had made. I wanted to see the inspection results of the septic system before agreeing to it. However, Taner my Realtor, acted like he did not have it and witheld it from me. He was disrespectful to my wife and I. He insulted our home, saying I cannot believe you got a full price offer. Let's hope it appraises for that. Every step of the way, step by step, things just got worse and worse. If he has ten years experience, it certainly does not show. Then he blocked my wife and I from being able to leave him a review, on his facebook page. If you look at his facebook page, he even left a review for himself. Some of his five star reviews were left by his family members, college friends, loan officers, his girlfriend and his own brother. I am assuming not one of those reviews is from an actual customer. His reviews are what got us to hire him. So I am warning you folks of Kansas City now, beware. You have been warned. Then since some of my friends left reviews on his facebook page, I was able to comment on those. Which I did. I am trying to protect others from what my wife and I experienced. It was the worst 30 days of our lives and probably aged us both by five years. My wife cried several times over his actions. We both lost tons of sleep. He even contacted the local authorities and made a false police report that I was harrassing him and his family, messaging them on facebook, which is 100% not true. People please, use your due diligence and check your realtor our fully before hiring, ask for references and contact those references. After two weeks of working with him, we fired him and had he VP, of Platinum Realty, Dennis Perkins handle the rest of our deal. Although he did not appreciated being pulled into the middle of it he did it. Without Dennis Perkins, my deal would have never closed and we would of lost our buyer.
